Great on line service

Ordered Lateral flow tests - I had a few queries all answered within 15 minutes and to my satisfaction.
Subsequently had to cancel my holiday and asked for advice on rescheduling tests - all done quickly. Excellent on-line service. It has given me great confidence in using the tests

BEWARE

BEWARE. THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE USING.

Update: successfully sued this company. Disturbing that they use one of the most expensive and aggressive legal firms in uk....make your own judgement about their integrity.

As well as reading my experience (below) please consider following:-

1. Are all the +ve reviews here genuine? it appears Chronomics object to Trustpilot about negative reviews claiming they are false. You might want to look at other sites and action groups and make a judgement.

2. Check out the Directors. At least one was an Estate Agent..well known for their advanced medical skills! Others were 'students'. 4 of 6 appointed have resigned.

3. Why does a small company that claims to have excellent service need a team of staff who describe themselves as 'legal escalation manager' and refer to 'our own legal team'? If you get mails you might question what country they are based in given some unusual english.

My experience:-

Ordered a test. Took money instantly. Sent in damaged box. Very difficult to use.

Returned. No confirmation as they claim. Make contact difficult. Made false claims about delivery then stated they had results. But would not let me see them.

Some might also be concerned about security of (unnecessary) personal data they collect.

You might also want to read the very complex refund T&C. Appears if you seek a valid refund they may try and charge you more than you have paid.

Had a bad experience with chronomics

Had a bad experience with chronomics. They had a technical fault so unable to finish result. Long conversation on live chat told it has been passed onto relevant department. Never heard until the next day whilst getting ready to go on holiday. Another long discussion on live chat. Then was unable to log in. I had alot to do before going away so said I shall have to go into town and get a test done there. I could not do my test as I could not log in. Sent my husbands test result on live chat. Anyway asked for a refund, had to complete two forms. Not sure i will get a refund after reading other peoples complaints. So come on Chronomics.

waste of time and money

I only gave 1 star as that was the lowest I could give. I ordered 2 PCR test kits, the kits did not arrive in time to be used and returned in time for my flight.

Customers service is non existent, you get a response from complaints from a general email address and I believe this company to be a farce. I have been fobbed off on 3 occasions now by these responses. They are happy to take your money but getting a refund is impossible.

Awful experience with a pre cruise…

Awful experience with a pre cruise COVID test. Very poor instructions about which reference number on the kit is which and impenetrable website to record result onto. No way of speaking to a person, emailed the given address, no response.
Late reply from Chronomics seeking more info - what more can I say? Doing the test itself is simple. Navigating the upload system is not - instructions need rewriting by someone who has never seen the kit before. Lots on the trip had to have assistance to get it done - not just me. Too much knowledge is presumed in the instructions. For a fee I’ll rewrite them for you 🙂.

Non payment of refund

After repeated requests for our refund outstanding from last November still nothing . Following my last negative review they asked for more information which I provided, although they already had it , and have since heard nothing . As there are so many similar reviews this is clearly their policy and should be investigated , I am now considering going to the press , tv and the small claims court .

Tests Sent a Year Late ! (0 out of 5 stars)

0 out of 5 stars, if I could.

Seriously Chronomics, your systems are utterly appalling. A year ago I had the complete debacle of trying to cancel my order - which did eventually go through. Whilst trying to cancel, this company continued to send me test kits, but still managed to fail to send the pre-flight kits. Today, *a year later*, I have just received an email from them informing me that my test kits are in the post! How inept of them.

I'll be refusing the parcel when it turns up.

Getting blood all over me and none in the tubes

Well so far I’m getting blood all over myself even with help. They only give you four of these small finger blood letting tool to use which is very frustrating that you can’t reuse them. They should definitely supply you with a tool in which you can use time and time again. We will try again tomorrow but trying to get you blood in those tiny tubes is so difficult.

Wish I read the reviews before purchasing as I can see a lot of people giving this one star.

Chronomics are an awful company to deal…

Chronomics are an awful company to deal with. There is only a voicemail message on their telephone number and they don't respond to emails if you want a refund. I have read many other similar reviews. I will contact the Retail Ombudsman to get my refund. That's probably why they are not in PayPal.
