Ordered the incredible pickled onions and though out of stock the comms was good. Not cheap bearing in mind delivery but a luxury item I treat myself to now and again.

Absolutely diabolical company! Avoid at all costs.Dont expect to get your order on the date you’ve picked, as they have no intention of getting it there for that date, my order was only picked a day before the delivery date and with it being picked on a late Friday afternoon it won’t be dispatched until Monday which is pointless as it was a birthday gift. There are better cheese companies out there that I’ve used before and get there on time. Why I used this company I will never know but will definitely not be using them again,

A good mixture and selection of cheeses with different use by dates.
Delivered on the stated day, just a shame it was the hottest day of the year so the wax was a bit melted and greasy. Didn’t affect the quality of the cheese fortunately.

Order delayed until too late twice. I ordered cheeses months ahead for large parties in 2024 and 2026. Stupidly, I gave them a second chance. The day before my second scheduled delivery I received a message to say it was delayed. It was an heat wave but there was no information about when I might get it. On asking for a new date I just received the offer of a discount on my next order but still no information. Just an ungrammatical standard message saying they are sorry about MY delay. On calling the next day, the day before my party, the telephone operator said it shouldn’t be a problem as my cheeses were in stock (!) but now she couldn’t guarantee next day delivery on account of the post office. I cancelled the order and brought locally. What sort of business do they think they are operating? I understand about heatwaves but they are no longer rare and are predicted. Do they not realise orders are for a particular date? I regret reusing them and, obviously, will not do so again.

Unfortunately, this is a company that does not care about customer satisfaction; my delivery was not made even though my address was correct, and the explanation they gave was laughable. Instead of resolving the issue, they asked me to pay the shipping fee again—I have never seen such nonsense. My address was correct on the invoice, yet they claimed the house number was incorrect due to an error on my part when the item was shipped. I will never shop with them again; I had previously recommended their products to many people, but this customer experience unfortunately ended in dissatisfaction. Instead of trying to win me over or solve the problem, they simply brushed me off.

Always good quality. This is the second mystery box I've ordered and have had some lovely surprises. Good opportunity to try new cheeses and chutneys, which some I've continued to buy separately.

I specifically asked for a certain delivery date 26th June. I received a message saying it would be delayed, but when I received the message it was too late to do anything about it.
I finally received it 1st July.
I was told they were caring for their staff in the hot weather, which I can understand, so we’re working a little slower. Why couldn’t customers be told sooner about delays.
I get the impression, once they’ve had your money they couldn’t care a toss. The time they took to answer my questions was beyond.
Certainly won’t be doing business with this firm ever again

My cheese order arrived hot and sticky rang customer service and sent pictures. They said they couldn't see oil leaking out. So did not want to help. I emailed them again saying I am not happy with this cheese and not taking it to the party. They did not email me back so had to put most off the cheese in the bin £48 I spent on cheese. Disgusting they do not give refunds.

The hot honey cheese was delicious, and the chilli cheese biscuits were lovely with it, arrived after my chosen date, but knowing Royal Mail that was probably down to them.

This was my first order with Chuckling Cheese, and I had hoped for a positive experience.

I placed my order on 19th June and selected a preferred delivery date of 27th June. I received no communication about any delays, so I naturally expected it to arrive as requested. When nothing had arrived by 29th June, I contacted customer service to cancel the order.

On 30th June, I was told the order had already been dispatched and that nothing could be done. However, I noticed that the dispatch notification email had only been sent 35 minutes before I received the email stating it was too late to cancel, which was very frustrating.

This was only a trial purchase to see what the company was like, but based on this experience and the lack of communication, I won’t be ordering from Chuckling Cheese .

I wrote to customer services who said nothing could be done but feedback would be taken on board .

Ordered this for my brothers Birthday was in formed day after due delivery date was delayed. Three days later was told they don’t guarantee delivery date and due to heat they were taking care of staff . Five days later I informed them if not delivered today I want a refund. The company could not deliver so gave me refund. Obviously this was still not ready for delivery. If this is for a special delivery occasion do not order from this company you won’t get it. I hate leaving bad reviews but on this occasion it’s absolutely warranted .

Not arrived on time 4 days ago email advising delay but would be on route within 24hrs and they would email me, 4 days later no email no orders. I had 2 orders here for 2 seperate people. This has left me apologising and promising that i did order them a gift. So upset by this

What is the point asking a preferred delivery date to then send an email saying there’s a delay! No answer to any emails or chat messages. I ordered as a birthday gift, had to purchase elsewhere and now I have an order somewhere in cyber space. You need to get rid of the preferred date option and just state that you’ll send it when you can be bothered. Utter rubbish customer service.

My order number CC79102, was placed on the 21.6.2026, 7 days later two mails that where not even responded too and several phone calls totalling 45 minutes waiting, just to be told they are busy.
I was told I would be notified when the cheese products where shipped. Nothing
The products have mostly a very short shelve life. I wished to cancel my order due to the above but can't due to the above. Very disappointed.

Sister ordered for my birthday treat, due to arrive 17th June. No show, no contact from company either to buyer or receiver.
Sister contacted company by phone on 18th June to find out what happened. Lots of excuses and promised to send by next week.
Timeless Selection arrived on 19 June by Royal Mail, cooler pack was warm but cheese was okay.
In summary, poor show for company not alerting buyer about delayed delivery, there is email these days, also need bigger cooler packs if delays continue to happen. It has been hot weather recently!

I can't fault the cheese but customer service not so good we are called a liar because the cold was to not put on the offer of hot maple cheese it pulls have been free if you spend £20 add that put the code in and you get that for free but I did not see where you can put the code when the phone up and asked about it he said he did I stopped the first time and he said don't deal with emails or messages about offers so I don't use the offers anymore because you can't use them

The cheese orders were delivered on time and were excellent value. I experienced a small problem (not the fault of Chucking Cheese) but the company took it upon itself to respond to my concerns rapidly and exceeded my expectations. Well done and thanks
