The appointment I just had was the biggest waste of time I've ever experienced with a medical professional.
Manuel Ramirez was extremely slow, did not show care, asked the same questions multiple times which felt like time wasting for the sake of getting nowhere fast, he missed our first appointment and pressured me to reschedule with him rather than the new person after finding out I rescheduled with the care team, and had me leaving the held appointment feeling like I had just wasted my time.
I was told I had to have a medical wellness check documentation prior to being evaluated AFTER I had already made an appointment and sat through his dull and awfully condescending questioning. I feel like I just spent $120 to simply tell someone my medical history, only to be abruptly told "I have my next client, so keep in touch after you get a wellness check," and got zero value out of the appointment. The only thing I was told, was what they couldn't do - which was a big list of things I wasn't asking for in the first place. I would not recommend this place.

I had to repeat myself multiple times that I have always had symptoms. It’s like I wasn’t even being listened to and the nurse was just reading off of a checklist. If an ADHD diagnosis or medication is not appropriate for my condition, then that is fine, but it was quite clear that the nurse had constructed a narrative on her own about what I was saying instead of actively listening to me. She was quite dismissive of my experiences as well. Very poor experience.

The medical provider that I use is so great and she is very professional. And she shows that she cares about my health. That has to be the best thing!

Unfortunately at some point she was no longer in network for me so I had to look for another provider. Julie Paul was the extreme opposite experience. Julie rushed the appointment-it felt like 2 minutes (and maybe it was that short). I asked her to write a doctor's note for all my medications EXCEPT for adderall since I was traveling to a country that may need to see that. She writes a note for adderall only so that was my first and last time seeing her. Luckily the next provider I selected was Jasmine Punnoose and she provided care equally as caring as Arlene.

I had an appointment for 4:15pm today, and when I was going in to get on the call at 4:06pm it sent me a message I had canceled visit and it charged me $50.00 it directed me to a chat and I waited for a human to respond for over 30 minutes. No response. I also called and had to leave a message. I go back and look at the available appointment for Saturday and Sunday and they had all been cleared out when I had just booked my appointment 2 hours prior and there lots of appointments. I am not sure this business is legit, but I have reached out to my insurance company and card company to report.

I met with a Dr. Tehmina Kazmi for a sleeping aid. She prescribed 3 pills charging $120.00, then stated for me to see my pcp or call and make another appointment at a cost of an additional $120.00. Her demeanor was arrogant.

I stopped using Circle Medical after experiencing what felt like fragmented and unnecessary scheduling practices. Instead of one comprehensive visit to address my concerns, I was booked into multiple 10-minute appointments, with both my insurance and me billed for each session. This approach significantly increased costs and did not align with the level of care I needed.
The larger issue arose when my insurance requested the physician’s appointment notes to authorize payment for labs and prescribed medication. For several months I contacted the billing team to have these records sent, but the documentation was never provided. Because of this unresolved balance from October, I was later unable to complete new labs ordered by my current provider, which directly affected my ability to manage my health.
Zach the Circle billing representative has demonstrated a lack of care in my experience. Communication has been extremely slow, often taking weeks to receive a single response, and the issue remains unresolved despite repeated outreach. Due to these experiences and the impact on my care, I ultimately changed providers.
I am sharing this so other patients can be aware of potential billing and coordination challenges. I have retained records of my communications and charges and hope Circle Medical improves its processes so patients are not placed in a similar situation. Please, if you prioritize your health and peace - I would suggest you not use Circle Medical.
Easy to find an appointment. Easy to confirm your insurance is accepted. Can complete basic care from the comfort of your home!

This is a bait and switch scheme where you pay $180 to be asked a bunch of questions only to be told to provide more follow up information including blood work, then pay again for another checkin and if they then deem you acceptable for medicine after this 3rd assessment, they require biweekly checkups, each for a fee. It's an excessive process rife with fees and no guaranteed treatment. Other telehealth companies are much more straightforward and helpful.

Paid for a 10-minute call, left without care, medication, or refund
I had a deeply disappointing experience with Circle Medical.
I booked and paid for an anxiety and depression video assessment specifically to continue a medication I had already been taking. I completed all questionnaires honestly and disclosed my medical history upfront.
The actual video visit lasted about 10 minutes. During that call, the provider decided that I was “not a good fit for telemedicine” and refused to prescribe or continue any medication. I was told to find a local psychiatrist instead.
As a result:
I received no treatment
I received no prescription
I received no referral or follow-up care
And no refund
Despite this, Circle Medical insists the appointment is “fully billable” because I was given the “opportunity to consult,” even though the outcome was decided almost immediately.
What makes this worse is that I am on a very limited budget. This appointment left me without both money and medication, which directly worsened my anxiety. That context was completely ignored in their responses.
Their billing team sent multiple canned replies repeating the same message, refusing to take responsibility or offer any resolution. The charge was processed after the appointment, and no invoice was initially available.
If Circle Medical has strict internal rules that disqualify certain patients from receiving mental health care via telemedicine, this should be clearly enforced before booking and payment, not after a brief call where the patient is then charged in full.
Based on my experience and the number of similar reviews, this feels less like patient-centered care and more like a business model that charges first and declines care later.
I would strongly caution anyone seeking mental health support, especially those relying on continuity of care or living with anxiety, before using this service.

This company deserves a lower than one star rating, it’s a joke. I unfortunately saw Fariba Mazdeh, FNP. After providing all of her initially requested medical records from my PCP and specialist, as well as all my recent labs during the first visit, she asked me to follow up in a month to discuss refills, which I did. When I got on the visit she had no idea why she asked me to follow up and proceeded to ask all of the intake questions we already addressed. She was bothered by an issue I had in pregnancy and had already consulted with my OBGYN and saw a specialist for, the same issue I discussed with the NP last visit; also, this was an issue which I never had prior to pregnancy and haven’t had since. Now, this NP was asking for additional documentation and was going to require yet another visit. Please tell me how it’s appropriate to waste a patient’s time like this while refusing to provide care? Pretty sure there isn’t a PCP that would require a patient to make THREE appointments before taking over med Rx. If she doesn’t want to prescribe that’s fine, but she’s trying to milk my insurance and is wasting my time with her nonsense.
The reason I tried to see her as a patient is I AM a healthcare provider, also previously working as a PCP myself, and I have a lot of difficulty getting time off work / seeing my own patients to go to my own appointments. I thought a telemed-based company that could do weekend and later appointments would be easier, but I was wrong. This NP provided subpar care and an ignorant response to issues I thought had already been addressed (but apparently not documented) at the last visit. Don’t waste your time or money. See an actual provider who knows what they’re doing.
