Excellent and respectful customer service. I placed an order in late September for several tartan items. Providentially, a different mill was needed for some items. In the meantime, I discovered that I made an error in the selection of my family tartan. Clan staff was so kind and patient in the process of questions, a LONG email chain, and cancelation of items that could be canceled. Clan honored an error on their own wedsite, allowing me to cancel some items that I normally couldn't. Even though it was my ignorant error, Clan remained professional and accommodating. I'll definitely be placing an order again soon with the correct tartan.

We ordered 4m of double wool on April 14th, 2024. After several delays, and a few months of waiting (hence the 4 instead of 5 star rating), our order finally arrived yesterday. We are thrilled with the quality of the wool. It is absolutely wonderful! The wool is heavy and the pattern clear and beautifully woven with excellent selvage edges. The drape is lovely.

We will be ordering more from Scotweb. It was well worth the wait.

Easy Ordering System; Kept Informed.
I have never ordered a custom made Serape before and was a bit worried but I was absolutely delighted when I received it from Clan.
I chose Morrison Hunting Modern. It is a lovely tartan and I was extremely pleased with the quality of the material and finish.

Six tartan items were ordered and delivered with excellence & perfection in mind. Our tartan was not a standard issue and had to be custom ordered. The material was made of high quality and sewing workmanship.

A slight delay in delivery date occurred, but given with ample warning.

I purchased a tie with the Rhys of Wales blue/brown tartan. I was kept informed of the progress (by Clan) and was very pleased when it arrived as promised. Great looking tie! I only wish I had asked for it to be lengthened another 4-5 inches. I like to use a Windsor knot when I tie a tie and that uses more length. No problem, though. A tailor in town will add an insert around the neck and it will be perfect length for me. Thank you for a well-made, good-looking tie! M. Rice

Not sure how I discovered this site, but so glad I did. I ordered two custom Buchanan Tartan caps as gifts for my sister. Scotweb kept me well informed on the order progress and the eta. Receiving the caps was well worth the wait - they look amazing and are top quality.

I recently purchased a Tam O'Shanter purse to remind me of a visit to Scotland many years ago. Customer Service were very helpful and considerate in addressing the issue I had with the item I received. I ordered a Highland cow for my husband. When it arrived, my husband just loved it - but the moo button didn't work.
My husband wouldn't give it up so I could return it for one with a working button, but I emailed the company to let them know about the button.
They offered to send out a second one, with a working button, and allowed us to keep the quiet one.
All through the process, as the lady that makes the moo Highlanders was on vacation, they kept us up to date as to its progress until it reached my husband's waiting arms this week.
I would send a picture of the happy couple sitting with their bodhran but there was no option to do pictures.

Very happy with the timely personal responses I received from Hamish and the staff. My purchase was delayed due to workload, (reason for 4 stars not 5) but they kept in contact with me regarding the status of my order. The lovely cufflinks were worth the wait.

Excellent customer service.
Unfortunately, I was informed by email that the sash I had ordered was not going to be available in time for a an event. On expressing my disappointment, I immediately received an email offering me some alternatives in stock. One was perfect and the company sent it out to me for next day delivery meaning that I had it in time for the event. This meant a lot to me as I wanted to wear the item in memory of my late husband at a Burns night celebration ! Thank you to everyone at Clan for making this possible.

Great company to do business with. Very responsive and helpful when communicating with them. They made several items for me including a balmoral kilt using a tartan I designed. I was very pleased with everything they made especially the kilt. The tartan exceeded my expectations, the color matching was perfect.

I’ll certainly do more business with them.

I ordered the sash for Burn's night, and it's exactly what I wanted, lovely fabric, beautiful colours and the right size for me. Service is brilliant with this company, they split my order so I could receive the sash for the day I needed it (the other item I had ordered had a two week delivery timescale).

Double width material ordered - useless single width material received.
Resolved by returning incorrect material and paying a second lot of import taxes for the right material.

Bought a tube scarf. Poor quality, expensive item, not functional and was overcharged on the P&P - a rip off for the price. Read the other reviews, others have complained about price and quality
