Once we had agreed a price, everything happened as promised. The collection truck was waiting for me as I came off the very early ferry and the driver did a quick video. A few minutes later, the agreed amount was in my account, before the chaps loaded my car to take it away. Yes I would have liked more for the car, but classic prices are generally going down and I have to accept the value of a classic 70s sportscar is way less than it was 5 years ago. To get more would have taken a lot of effort as I live on an island with limited ability to sell locally.

Selling a 40 year old Caterham 7 with little idea of a value because it needed some TLC.
Filled in an online form and supplied photos, and got a quick phone response back on a Sunday. Positive discussion and offered what I thought was a low value but one that I was happy to accept.
Deposit received that evening and car collected first thing on the following Tuesday by a very good delivery driver who had driven the length of the country to arrive by 6.30am. Balance of price in the bank before the driver left.
I’m sure I could have got more elsewhere, and that they will make a very acceptable margin, but avoided any hassle or extended bartering. Very simple process all the way through.
Happy overall and pleased that the car appears to have gone to a good home. Best wishes, and have fun, to the new owner.

Value my classic car, they offer. Filled in the form, including pictures and was surprised I was required to fill in the value of the car on the form, a mandatory field. They emailed back, very politely, saying they wouldn’t be able to pay that! I wasn’t necessarily selling, I was taking up the offer of a valuation to decide wether to sell. When I then requested the valuation I was offered, nothing. Words matter when it comes to taking customer private details and trading standards. All those positive google reviews on the site must mean something… surely I can’t be the only disappointed punter to fall for this? I tried to click the link on the site to leave my positive review… oh wait, but the link to leave a review doesn’t work… and there are no live reviews on google at all… something is not right here.

Laughable offer of £3000 for a 1956 ford pop hot rod. Majority of prices are from 10k to 30k please see other quotes as this seems to be the norm with this company avoid at all cost.

I filled in their online form for my fully restored MGB GT, asking £8500 which for one in this condition would leave any dealer a decent profit. They responded to say they could not get near that figure. I asked them to confirm what they would pay in case I was out of touch, radio silence. Seems a strange business model for an outfit based on buying classics but at least I now know to steer clear.

Very disappointed with my experience with this company. Halved the agreed offer once at the vehicle so waste of everyone’s time. Guess it’s more suited for desperate sellers.
