Must Use App

Grateful to Patrick & his supervisor for removing the fee I incurred as a result of not being able to get through for a couple weeks. It was a frustrating experience but no issue is too big to overcome I just wanted to move forward with my original rate. Very difficult to reach its support group

It is really difficult to reach customer service. I've had to wait and on top of that it send me to voicemail. I had to continue calling for days. They must not like answering people. I've also had to wait on both the phone and the chat at the same time and they just take forever.

Almost Completely Satisfied

I first heard of Clearcover from a company called Young Alfred Insurance when I was comparing insurance companies. Young Alfred came back with several companies who offered considerable savings while maintaining the same or similar coverage. I was excited to make the change and was told that the quote was accurate according to the questions I had answered about my driving records, driving habits, and vehicle details. I told him that I was willing to purchase the policy. I wanted to wait for it to go into effect until the last day of my old policy which was on a Friday. On that day, I learned that the policy price was increased fairly significantly from the quoted price; I received no actual reason for the increase, except that sometimes the final pricing is subject to change. At that point, I had no choice but to purchase the policy because my other one had already expired. So now, I'm locked into having Clearcover for at least six months. The increased price is still less than I was paying with my old insurance company, so I am not upset that I made the change. I am only baffled why the price would increase for no apparent reason.
I think their quotes should either be more accurate or at least, perhaps, more binding for the first term of a quoted price. Then, if need be, raise it up and let the customer know ahead of time so they can make an informed decision to stay with Clearcover or look for another company. So far I'm happy with the policy, but I only give this company a "four" because of the surprise increase in the policy premium.

Canceled this policy the day I got it…

Canceled this policy the day I got it because I found a much cheaper rate elsewhere. I asked for a refund before my payment ever hit anyone's system. I was advised I'd get an electronic check sent to my email (really?) In 7 to 10 days... here we are at day 12. Nothing. Awesome. When you talk to customer service, yes they're very nice people but the policies and company suck. Go somewhere else. I can't imagine what they'd be like with an actual claim.

Getting a car insurance policy during this pandemic was simple with Clearcover.

I picked clearcover because they had…

I picked clearcover because they had the cheapest quote for a 23 year old driver with a new car. I like whole digital insurance card and paperless aspect of the company too, and the fact that I can bring up my id offline. I recently interacted with customer support to change something in policy and the rep was super friendly and resolved my problem in a few minutes. I don't know how they handle claims yet but other than that I'm really liking my experience so far.
