If only I could leave no stars. What an absolute farcical company.

Booked and paid in full for our stay at amarilla golf villas tenerife. From the 4th to the 10th of march. Over 3 weeks later I'm then contacted by the agent for amarilla golf villas who was obviously completely incompetent as he had actually managed to apparently double book our stay for 3 of the nights, as a result of their negligence they did offer us an alternative accommodation for no extra money, however it was completely unfit & inappropriate for our group needs & we stressed this was our opinion to the agent.

They did have availability on an apartment that in our opinion was acceptable to our group however only for the 3 nights that we were double booked, even though it was not as good as the one we had booked, which was a two double ensuite bedroom apartment & the one we said we would accept was only a one double bedroom ensuite and one twin with separate bathroom, unbelievably after agreeing we would accept for just the 3 nights before swapping into our original booking they expected us to pay extra??? When I refused to pay any extra funds as I was very dubious about why this was expected for their negligence was beyond me. My funds were returned and our holiday cancelled without any notification from the agent leaving just 19 days to find alternative accomodation as all other holiday necessities had been purchased.

I obviously decided to Contact clickstay to vent my disgust about amarilla golf villas. Only for them to say holiday cancelled and money returned. In my opinion it was a complete breach of the contract I entered into but clickstay response was to completely ignore my issues but just send a link to an available but extremely undersirable accommodation.

After posting my initial review they responded with what was in my opinion completely false statements and eventually managed to get my statement of facts removed because of a couple of words had breached rules that I had used to describe their actions in this matter.

I really would avoid at all costs.

let's please submit some facts in order for people to make informed choices as clickstay said that amarilla golf did everything to resolve the issue.

We booked an ultra modern 2 bed 2 ensuite two story apartment with stunning views of the ocean?.

Amiralla golf offered as an equivalent property.
A 1 double bedroom ensuite single story apartment with 2nd twin bedroom and separate family bathroom. With distant ocean views.

The other apartment which I agreed was almost an equivalent however still only 1 ensuite not two like our original booking, but in order to appease the fact of Jon at amarilla golf's clear negligence, he then wanted us to pay more for his epic failure to honour our contract.

I contacted clickstay to vent my disgust, your response was very clear it was not your problem as I had been refunded. You said you would pass my comments on.

funnily apart from the said email of a very undesirable offering for our stay i Never heard anything else until I posted the reviews, then suddenly you take an interest in what was clearly an epic failure

5 you had our money for over 3 weeks, nearly 4 Absolutely shocking.
Cannot believe that as our initial booking wasn't available due to negligence, we can have what was clearly a vastly inferior listing yet for the same money we had already paid or an almost as good apartment but facilities wise still slightly worse but only if we pay more!!!!

Because of the failure's to honour the booking, it's your duty to offer equivalent or better accomodation in the event of double booking. They failed miserably in both options as they just wanted to get me to pay more money, or accept less which I was not prepared to do.

You failed in your duty as you had the chance to make things right and chose to just accept that i was eventually refunded after nearly 4 weeks so not your problem

As a villa owner, I have always found Clickstay.com provide a first class service. Their platform is intuitive to use, and very cost-effective. Great customer service - they have been quick to answer questions from both my side and the guests'.
The platform uses Stripe payment technology which is secure, so guests can use with ease and confidence. Although I also list on another, widely known platform, I find myself regularly saying "why can't this be as simple and user-friendly as Clickstay!" I direct any potential guests towards this excellent lettings platform.

Great company. Efficient and helpful with any queries or issues. Good to book directly with owners so you know where you will be staying before you go.

We had a fantastic stay at the Ocean View apartment booked through Clickstay 😎 they offer great value, good communication and go above and beyond to make your stay stress less. Will definitely be using them again.

Amazing company I would most definitely recommend click stay. The villa peacock was everything and more. Thank you for a wonderful experience

Do not book a villa from Balearic Villas SLU
I booked a Villa for May 2026 cancelled after 5 Days due to a deteriating health issue with my husband.
We paid direct to the Balearic including damages waver cleaning costs and Stay Fee as per Spains Policy.
The villa has already been booked for the dates we booked, so no losses to this company. I am taking this legal both in our 70's and wont give us a penny back. Not Clickstays fault they have tried to help but the owners of the villa excuse is they need a fit to fly, laughable as how can we gain one of these both retired at no point was this mentioned in the booking contract. Apparently its at the owners discretion !

Used clickstay a few times and never any hassle. Their clients who offer the accommodation have all been excellent to deal with. Will use them again for sure.

We booked our villa through clickstay and it was a great experience. Communication was excellent, the villa was perfect, and we would definitely do it again. The manager of the villa was so nice, welcoming and accommodating. The villa was even stocked with food in our arrival which was fantastic. Definitely recommend.

Villa Avagarosa is wonderful. It feels like home away from home. The trees at the front provide beautiful shaded area that sheltered us from the glare of the midday sun. The first floor terrace was perfect for those balmy nights where we gazes at the moon and stars at night. Also great for watching the stunning sunsets.

The villa's located in a beautiful quiet cul-de-sac with parking space at the back. The cleaner deserves a special mention. She went about her duties with an efficiency that reminds one of scenes from Downton Abbey and Guilded Age.

This Villa is as good as it gets without breaking the bank.

We are already planning to go back.

I can highly recommend Clickstay when booking your next holiday rental. Lots of great quality properties to choose from and an easy to use website with a host of information. Fab rates too with no service charges added to the rental cost.

Family inc- children 17 -25 plus some of their friends. Accommodation was brilliant for our party. We could come together, be in discrete groups or find our own space as suited. Photographs accurately represent the facilities. Air-con was excellent and nec given the heat. Great range of equipment and facilities in the kitchen - we cooked and barbecued frequently so made use of pretty much everything and found nothing wanting. We all loved the roof terrace which has a large fridge freezer which meant drinks and ice were left upstairs which was very convenient. This area was in constant use as we regularly used it in preference to staying around the pool for long. The pool area was one of the reasons why we haven’t scored the facilities as a 5. As shown in the photos, there are no loungers so we expected that. What we had not anticipated was how small the area around the pool is or the fact that it’s all sloped. As well as the top floor of the apartment, we spent a lot of time in the sea/on the beach which is only a few metres away. We found only having one fob that opened the road barriers and gave access to the pool a real pain in a large group but understand it’s the community rules and not in the control of the owner so this is just a heads up. All 9 of us who stayed there at different points in the 3 weeks had no hesitation in rating Casa Bella as a 5. Would highly recommend Clickstay for price, responsiveness and accuracy and will definitely use to source future holidays

I was dubious as never heard of Clickstay and being an Airbnb host as well this made me more sceptical, however I was proven wrong, the host great, the property was great and any queries with Clickstay or the specific host were promptly replied to.
Would definitely use again based on the savings.

Easy of booking and informative, and, not over zealous with updates. Holiday accommodation booked far exceeding our expectations for quality. Would use again

Great company to work with with some excellent properties, much cheaper than booking with the other mainstream online travel agents, much less commission I think!
