Bought Samples Testing Purpose but all ok

I just bought few Samples as reselling to my customers and firstly I though to setup my home , initially I got error message while setting up with WiFi connection but I decided to start with fresh connection so for that I turned off my router and start and open The app and while sounds transmit you need to place cocoon near to router for just first time and it’s Catch up perfectly and Cocoon ready to use , it’s great when it’s sending alert to my phone directly for any new activity within the range of cocoon , the only thing I realized within the app is slow watch live and app it’s may be due to since they using all over the cloud based and no memory card slot or Hdd needed but it’s flawless. I hope it’s gets improved by server response time , hosting or what ever involved cloud based to boost the system , But you need super Fast internet for that

Clunky setup with no support

Clunky setup with no support. Typical high tech company with nobody to answer a phone so they don't even provide a number anywhere. After playing with various setting and rebooting numerous times myself I managed to get working but the app is slow and not the most responsive.

Disappointed… but wait...

I am another one of the disappointed customers (was one of the original backers on Indiegogo, received my device some time ago but only tried to set it up recently; serial number of device appears to be CS01AB SAAANP).

Basically, camera would not connect to our Wifi. Tried multiple times to reset the camera, but only to get the same error messages over and over again. Also tried to contact Cocoon a couple of days ago, no response to far. Disappointed.

Update (20181206): I followed the suggestion of the Cocoon representative and chat directly (via texting messages) with a Cocoon support staff Callum. Really appreciate the effort spent by Callum in trying to figure out what may be preventing my Cocoon from working properly. After tentatively concluding that it may be a hardware issue, Callum offered to ship me a replacement device. I am really looking forward to receiving it and finding out what this camera could do!

We have now located your message that was sent via the Indiegogo platform, which has to be manually monitored, and as our campaign ended 4 years ago, this is not regularly checked. The best way to contact the help team is to head to our website to chat directly between 10am-6pm GMT, or alternatively you can email help@cocoon.life, or support@cocoon.life, and lastly you can contact us via our Facebook or Twitter accounts. In relation to your Cocoon not connecting, from your serial number I can see that it was activated in February this year. This means your Cocoon will need to be factory reset before you can pair it once again. Good piece of kit.

Easy to install,even i could do it. Gives a good clear picture. As long as you have WiFi you can watch your home. We were in Spain and could watch our living room. Cocoon automatically arms it’s self when you leave your house with your phone and disarms when you return. This is a really good piece of equipment.

Absolute 5 star 🌟

So easy to set up and use. Terrific video quality although there is a time lag of a few seconds but that is to be expected. Would love to see a system for the main user to have the ability to control the functions on family members phones ie: I don’t want my daughters controlling my system when they live 5 miles away. But apart from that I’d recommend this to anyone. I have one downstairs and one upstairs and the whole system works really well. 5* and the customer service is second to none. They answered all my questions before purchasing the system.

I purchased 6 weeks ago

I purchased 6 weeks ago. Well I let it learn my house and people and animals. Then decided to test it.
Well I armed it and opened a door upstairs. Opened a window in the bathroom and even tried a window in my bedroom . I have cocoon set up in my living room WELL all I can say is it alerted me on my phone every time. I love tech stuff and amazed at how it knows I have opened a window.
I know it monitors noise and air movement but wow. I am so pleased with it.
Even if it is armed and it hears a noise not recognised it alerts me. (Have a new edition to household a puppy. It told me I have a new noise ...Until it learnt her noises. 10/10
I don't understand how it all works but I can say it works.

Cocoon makes me feel safe and I wouldn’t be without it!

Cocoon is easy to set up and for someone like me who is not tech savvy it’s so user friendly day to day. I feel safe and secure knowing we have a cocoon and I often use it to check on our dog. It’s a must have product!

Great little home security kit which looks very slick! I had installed the app and had set up in less than 5 minutes, the app is very use to easy and gives me the reassurance that my home is secure.

Hi Alan, we're sorry about this. Cocoon has been primarily designed to be used with your smartphone so that it auto-arms/disarms when you leave home with your phone based on its location capabilities.

We've had a number of requests for an iPad app, which we're adding to our roadmap soon hopefully, and this will likely have the option as a 'viewing' only device, rather than one that arms/disarms automatically.

If you have an iPad that can have a sim and therefore has location services, you can download the iPhone version of the app to view on your iPad. Unfortunately this isn't possible with WiFi-only iPads.

Super quick customer service

Had some issues with the product initially. The customer service i received i must say was exceptional. Always available and super quick to reply to emails etc. Really impressive. Everything works nows and very happy. .

Really happy with the Cocoon

Really happy with the Cocoon, very easy to set up taking only took around 5 minutes. The device is in the learning stage but so far so good. Visual and audio quality is also excellent, very happy customer especially as I won it in a competition!!

We have now had four Cocoons originally…

We have now had four Cocoons originally through Indiegogo, of the original three, one was stolen but, having a couple of holiday homes we're more interested in the holistic approach to the houses (if that's the right word) being warned if something isn't quite right is proving a boon. Alarms are great for thieves (and we've now got one of those) but other aspects have to be covered by house managers and they cannot be there all the time; Cocoon is.
