Scam : never respond to cancelling subscription

Worse social network I've ever been into. They are SCAMMERS, never reply an email or give a refund you're eligible to. I wish I had read these reviews before. I hope they stop someday scamming people.

100% scam website. No refund, don't even let me sign in to start refund process. Contacting bank and will take legal action if refund is not given!

I wish I had read the reviews first. I've cancelled my account and they keep billing me. Never got a single lead or inquiry, this site is a sham. Just designed to rip people off. Even their phone number is another business, that's how deceitful they are. Stay away!

I signed up for CofoundersLab’s trial, canceled the same day (site bearly working, only people active are scammers), and sent multiple formal emails requesting cancellation, data deletion, and removal of billing authorization. They never replied. Despite five clear requests, they charged my card without consent, a blatant violation of consumer protection laws and GDPR.

I’m not the only one: this appears to be a recurring pattern, as seen in other reviews and Reddit threads. I’ve opened a formal dispute with my bank and will escalate to the European Consumer Centre and GDPR authorities if a refund is not issued.

I want to cancel the subscription package because it is not effective, but there is no option to cancel the payment subscription. I sent them 4 emails but they did not reply and still deducted my money. It is a scam.

Avoid at all costs! No way to cancel and they will charge your card without consent. Only way to cancel is to cancel your bank card.

I am writing this review to strongly warn others about my poor experience with this corrupt company, which raises serious legal and ethical concerns. The poor customer service never responds is one example of there zero service policy. Where they spit on the customer.

Despite presenting themselves as a legitimate platform for connecting founders and investors, my experience was marred by misleading claims, lack of transparency, and practices that border on deceptive conduct. I was subjected to high-pressure tactics, vague service terms, and unfulfilled promises that could be interpreted as commercial misrepresentation.

Moreover, after raising legitimate questions about service delivery and requesting clarity, the response from the company was either evasive or completely absent. This indicates either gross negligence or deliberate avoidance of accountability — both of which are unacceptable, particularly for a platform that purports to operate in the investment and startup space.

If a regulator were to examine this, there would be multiple red flags regarding consumer protection, breach of fair trading principles, and possibly even data misuse. This kind of behavior erodes trust in the startup ecosystem and should not be tolerated.

Terrible. They charge your card without your consent. Impossible to unsubscribe online. No response after multiple messages. DO NOT SUBSCRIBE.

They will keep charging the credit card until you have to call your bank and cancel the card.

I joined CoFoundersLab for the 30-day “free” trial. I discovered there is no “Delete account” or “Cancel subscription” option anywhere—even though their FAQ claims one exists. Instead you have to email them, which they won't answer. I emailed support four times over six weeks and never got a single reply.

Signed up thinking I was on a free trial, then got charged $29. I submitted their cancellation form straight away and got an automated email saying it would be sorted in 1–2 weeks.

A month later, they charged me again. No reply, no way to cancel from the site, and no way to stop the charges. It feels like they intentionally make it hard.

I’ve had to go through my bank for a refund. Really disappointing experience.

I had such high hopes for this site.

What I got was a bunch of Mamma's boy blokes asking me to pay them without any interest in collaboration. Bots and sales pitches. What a disappointment.

One guy said “I’d have to pay his living expenses”. I said, absolutely not

Poor service with little value in connections available. Despite closing the account they continued to charge me and did not respond to a refund request.

I contacted CoFoundersLab support in April 2025, via both info@ and contact@ and the sites contact form, demanding cancellation of my Premium subscription. I received no reply, and despite this, the company proceeded to bill me twice more. I expect an immediate cancellation and a full refund of these charges. If unresolved within 7 days, I will escalate via bank dispute and consumer protection channels.

Scam! Avoid this website.

Absolute garbage site. Complete scam, fortunately I never paid for a subscription, but my data is being used to try to suck others in, despite multiple cancel requests. I will be exploring any and every option available to me to launch legal action against this site. For anyone that wants to explore legal options, reach out on LinkedIn

This is a SCAM. A FRAUD website run by FRAUDSTERS, beware. Never give your credit card data to them. There is no way to cancel subscription. I was lucky i caught the scam and didn't lose money and froze my card.
