Going as a foot passenger is not for the elderly or infirm. There are lots of steps, lots of walking involved. Getting on & off buses not easy with luggage. Border force checks in Calais a nightmare.... Toon meer

Easy crossing, friendly staff!
All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Boarding instructions were clear and easy to follow. The ferry was clean and had a good bar and restaurant. Only four stars because there were no comfy seats - for those you have to pay extra!!
