My conservatory roof was insulated in October 2020 and the result exceeded my expectations. However, a strip of plastic that was stuck to the ceiling fell down. It took some months before a fitter was sent to repair it, this time attaching it to the ceiling with plugs. Before long the plugs were falling out and, actually, they were inserted at irregular intervals, meaning that it is rather unsightly. A request by e mail to have this refitted resulted in the promise of a fitter in September 2021 but he did not arrive. A recent e mail asking for another visit has not been answered. I am not impressed.

DO NOT USE! When the sales person came by I asked for a ceiling roof installation and glass tint and he arranged for the installer to come on the 17th March. We then had to move the date because apparently the installers van had broken down. He then arrived on a different date and did the job in one day which I was initially happy with but told me he did not have the colour glass tint I wanted which was white, he only had a opaque tint. The opaque tint was not put on very well and had left bubble marks over the windows. The installer said that he would come back and fit the correct white tint at a later date but when I contacted him on a number of occasions he never answered.
Apart from this I was initially happy with how the ceiling installation looked, but since the weather has changed to Autumn/spring, we have had large water leaks from the roof of our conservatory which we never had prior to the installation being fitted. The installation may be too heavy for the roof and it causing the new ceiling installation to bow. This should have been assessed prior by the experts and advised not to install but never was. Since, we have tried to call the company on a number of occasions and the numbers do not connect. We now have a bowed ceiling and damaged roof. We have also emailed the company and have received nothing back. THIS IS FRAUD, and will be reporting you to WATCHDOG.

The first part of the job was completed to a good standard. When further work was required the money was taken but the job was not done. When I informed the manager he told me that this part of the work was done on a private basis between myself and the installer and was therefore not responsible for refunding my money. As I have email proof that the company were very much aware of this part of the work I would strongly recommend anyone think very carefully before entering into a contract with this company.

I was pleased with the appearance of the roof, however, after the fitter left I rolled down one of my side window blinds ( which the fitter had rolled right up) and it was damaged, they are only a few weeks old. The fitter made a point of removing the shades from one of the wall lights as it was in the way. He did not mention that one of the two blinds would cause any problem for him.
Having noticed the damage I contacted Conservatory Roof Experts, at their request sent a quote from the blinds company to replace and photos. They responded and have 'hidden' behind clause 15 of their Terms and Conditions. Which states 'the company will not be held responsible for any damage to any item whatsoever'.
The blinds are not Roof blinds and the fitter didn't advise they were in the way. Disappointed with the company's response. The moral of this tale....watch a company's catch all small print especially if they state they won't be responsible for damage to any item whatsoever...this could the conservatory itself!

Work unfinished and now not answering calls I would not recommend this company

The companies consultant explained in great detail how the new roof would be installed and how the materials work. He answered all my questions which give me the confidence to deal with them. The installer arrived on time and the installation was first class. I am 100% happy with the roof and the company and would recommend.

Lovely salesman, very pleased with price. Workmen pleasant and hardworking. Now have a cosy room we are able to use all day. Have one little snag which we’ve only just noticed but I’m sure will be fixed as soon as we contact them. Would recommend them, sat in room in the midst of a deluge and it was quiet, great.

Our new house came with a conservatory with a translucent polycarb roof. We found it too uncomfortable in direct sunset and also too hot. The team from Conservatory Roof Experts arrived at the agreed time and fitted internal insulation and cladding in just a little over three hours!

The transformation is amazing. It is now a usable lounge with lovely light and a natural temperature.

This company is excellent. They completely the work quickly but carefully and professionally. The 2 workers were polite and helpful. They also cleared up after themselves. I am already feeling the benefit of the new roof in terms of noise, warmth and protection from heat (when we have some!)

Very nice and helpful workmen. Installation completed much quicker than I anticipated. It has transformed our Garden Room into a 'proper' room. I would recommend this firm to anyone wishing to improve the look and feel of their conservatory or garden room.

Very pleased with my new conservatory ceiling. The conservatory was freezing in the winter and too hot in the summer, it is now a very comfortable room which I use as my home office and dining room. It also greatly reduces the noise of heavy rain on the conservatory roof.

It has given me another room which can now be used in all seasons and I am very pleased with the overall look and finish. Great job.

What a difference our newly installed insulated ceiling has made.
This last week we have had outside temperatures of -2 up to +25 degrees Celsius and normally we could not have used our conservatory, (storeroom), however after having our roof insulated by Conservatory Roof Experts we can now enjoy our extra room in comfort, lovely! Thank you.

Fitter phoned in morning of installation to tell me a time of arrival, he arrived on time and was very friendly. Installation went without a hitch, he worked in a clean tidy manner and didn't make or leave any mess. The conservatory looks brighter now and the new ceiling doesn't affect light into my dining room, which I was concerned about. I am very pleased , just wish I'd had it done sooner.

Just wanted to convert my conservatory into a child's play room, was a good simple solution. Installers came on time and had work completed within a day. Nice easy and understanding to get along with, mess was kept to a minimum. Would recommend this company.

Had our conservatory ceiling done by them at the end of March 2021. We are really pleased with the look of the finished product. Have sat in there a few times since it was done and the temperature was comfortable despite it being bright sunlight outside so initial impressions are good. I really hope it does what is claimed as I was fed up with it being like an oven in summer and a fridge in winter. The only downside so far is that despite their reassurances to the contrary our adjoining dinning room is a bit darker as it got most of it's light from the previously transparent conservatory roof. But to me that's a price worth paying if it makes the conservatory a useful living space. The installation was done in a day and they removed all the waste. They didn't clean the finished ceiling which is what they show on their promotional video I had to do that. But overall we were pleased with our dealings with them and the quality of the completed job.

I arranged for my conservatory roof to be insulated on Tuesday 23 Feb 21. I am 80 years old, my wife is 75. We cleared the conservatory completely and cleaned ready for the workmen. We sanitized anything they may touch. They rang on Tuesday saying they couldn't make it til Wed. They came and finished the work in less than 3 hours. They called me to inspect the work but I couldn't open the door enough to get through. They said they would return on Thursday to complete work. They phoned on Thursday saying it was a no go and they would return on the Friday, which they did. They had to remove 4 panels saw the wooden battons to fit higher then replace the uvpc panels. The door now fully opens with 3mm clearance. What should have been a 3 hour job turned into 4 days. I wrote to their (supposedly) head office in Billericay on 1 Mar to complain and have just had my letter returned by Royal Mail No longer at this address. I wish I had gone to another firm. Fantastic service. Booked appointment to quote and they were punctual & professional. Guys who carried out the work were brilliant. Worked very fast and very tidy. Conservatory now looks amazing and already so much warmer and brighter. Would recommend very highly.
