I strongly recommend avoiding…

I strongly recommend avoiding Conversios. Their plugin simply did not work and it had very unfollowable instructions. Despite multiple requests, they refused to issue a refund. I finally filed a chargeback and they tried to blame “third-party plugins” instead of standing behind their own software. Didn’t have any plugin conflicts when this was trying to be installed and wasn’t even a WordPress issue. I’ve used WordPress for years and have never had a developer refuse a refund for a product that failed to function as advertised. Very disappointing experience and terrible customer support. As a follow-up, they want to stand behind the fact that the chargeback was reversed - this was only because I just didn't have time to get it done and didn't send in the response. I will now try and re-open the chargeback to file it again, probably causing another chargeback fee.

The product was delivered immediately and was fully functional, including the download link, license key, setup instructions, and dashboard access. No product defect was ever reported to our team. We offered multiple times to assist with setup and troubleshooting; however, no screenshots or error details were shared, and we were only informed that you decided to switch to another solution.

As outlined in our Refund Policy, refunds within 15 days require evidence of a malfunction and an opportunity for our team to review the issue, which did not occur in this case. Your chargeback was filed under “Product defective,” but no defect was demonstrated, and the payment provider was provided with full evidence of delivery, support attempts, and the absence of technical details from your side.

As an update for transparency, this matter was formally reviewed by the payment provider where the dispute was raised. After evaluating the delivery records, usage details, and support history, the dispute was closed in our favour based on the evidence submitted, confirming that our actions, support efforts, and refund policy were applied appropriately.

Support was never refused, and communication ended only after assistance was declined. We follow a fair and consistent process for all customers and remain available even now if you would like us to review the setup or discuss this further.

We would like to clarify the situation for accuracy.

The charge in question was a scheduled subscription renewal and was processed in line with our published refund and renewal policy. These terms were shared earlier via email and were also available at the time of purchase and renewal.

After receiving the refund request, our team reviewed the account and responded based on the applicable policy. As communicated in writing, renewal payments are non-refundable once processed. No charges were made outside of the subscription terms.

We understand that this decision may be disappointing; however, labeling this as misconduct is incorrect. All actions taken were consistent with the subscription agreement and prior communication.

Professional and Highly Supportive

We were using server side tracking already but were unhappy with the integration.

Having contacted Conversios.io after researching alternatives, they conducted an audit on our site prior to any order being placed and highlighted areas of our existing tracking that were not correctly integrated.

Once subscribed their attention to detail and professionalism in integrating their plugin was outstanding and promptly executed.

My communication and dealings with Avinash at Conversios were always productive and exceptionally helpful and supportive.

Highly recommended.

Feels like a scam.

No warning before renewal, no refund after cancellation, and support that only replies to say “it’s too late.”

I cancelled right after being charged, but they still refused to refund me. This feels like a trap designed to catch users off guard.

Plenty of better, more transparent alternatives out there. Avoid.

We’d like to respectfully clarify that our refund and cancellation policy is publicly available on our website and clearly displayed within the plugin’s account section in your WordPress admin panel. This policy applies equally to all users to maintain transparency and fairness across the board.

Your subscription was automatically renewed as per the selected billing cycle, and we did not receive any cancellation request prior to the renewal. That said, the moment your request came in, your subscription was promptly cancelled to ensure there are no future charges. If you wish, you may continue using the services until the end of the current billing cycle.

While our policy outlines specific timelines for cancellations and refunds, we always aim to be fair and accommodating. If clients reach out to us in advance, we make sure to process their cancellation so that no renewal charges are added to their account.

We also noticed a review was left on Shopify, where the app was not actively in use. While we respect every user's right to share their experience, we wanted to clarify that the subscription in question was related to your WordPress setup, not Shopify.

To clarify, the charge you referred to was linked to an active subscription that had not been cancelled at the time of renewal. We did not receive any cancellation request before the renewal date, and the system followed the standard billing cycle configured during your initial setup.

At Conversios, we maintain clear and accessible subscription and cancellation policies available both on our website and within the plugin itself. When users request cancellations in advance, we ensure there are no future charges.

Beware of Recurring Fees Trap with Conversio.io

I recently had a very disappointing experience with Conversio.io. Despite understanding my subscription to be cancelled, I was hit with an unexpected US $299.00 charge. It turns out there was a recurring charge via PayPal that I wasn't properly informed about.

When I contacted Conversio.io, their response was unhelpful and rigid. They refused to issue a refund, citing their policy of no refunds for renewals and claiming they hadn't received a cancellation request. This rigid stance feels like a trap for customers who may have missed the small print.

In Australia, best practice for subscriptions is to provide renewal notifications to prevent these surprise charges. Unfortunately, Conversio.io doesn't follow this approach. As a result, I've reported this to PayPal, Amex, and the ACCC, and I want to warn other potential users.

Think twice before subscribing to Conversio.io if you want to avoid unexpected fees and poor customer support. I will be sharing this experience across WordPress, Magento, WooCommerce, Trustpilot, and other review platforms to protect others from falling into the same trap.
