I bought the Vintage blue walking stick which is lovely. I mentioned I would be using it when walking my daughter down the aisle for her wedding in a few days. It was shipped straight away and arrived the next day. The stick is sturdy, well made and easily adjustable to your height. The neoprene cover is so soft and comfortable for your hand as you hold the stick. The stick safe that you wind round and use to secure the stick is brilliant. No more clattering as my stick crash lands every time I attempt to prop it up. I would purchase from Cool Crutches again as they were very friendly and helpful.

After some gentle encouragement from my daughter, I finally accepted that having a walking aid wouldn’t be a bad thing. I was therefore DELIGHTED to find that “cool” crutches were a thing…. And oh my- how cool they are!

With a plethora of designs and colours to choose from, I spent ages looking through all my options- from a starry sky (which was my final choice) to a diamanté encrusted bling version- everyone is catered for!

The website was super slick and easy to navigate, lots of payment options (including Klarna which is a great help when on a disability budget!), and a whole page dedicated to help videos which is great if this is your first dip into the world of walking aids (like I was!).

I ordered on a Sunday but by Monday was so keen to get my hands on my new purchase, I contacted via the chat function, and was promptly advised that my order was being sent out that day! I was over the moon when It arrived the next day, neatly boxed and wrapped.

I’m super chuffed with the quality of the stick, the design is beautiful! It was easy to adjust the size, everything feels very well made, and the bonus neoprene handle cover made it super comfortable. The grip felt very natural, it has obviously been very cleverly designed.

Although it felt like an extravagance to spend so much, the quality of the stick and the service that I received, was worth every penny and made a stark difference to any pre-conceptions I’d had about shopping for mobility aids.

I’ve already raved about Cool Crutches to everyone in my Me/Cfs circle. Having something that feels a little bit personal instead of the dull grey standard is a real boost - and anyone that needs an aid needs all the boosting that they can get.

The company's marketing is good, no doubt.
The problems I've encountered are:
The crutches are slightly heavier than the NHS ones.
The extra part on the handle is not comfortable for long walks
The arm rest arc additional to the sliding arm circle is surplus and annoying.
I've purchased a sleeve to hold the arc and circle together but I loose the flexibility of the movement when I need to use my hands.

I found that online ordering was easy. The only problem I had was making my mind up about which design to have. Once I had ordered my crutches they arrived very quickly. I was very excited when the delivery man knocked my door, it was like christmas all over again. When I saw them they were beautiful. I absolutely love them. I love the handles they are much kinder to your hands and wrists because they seam to balance your weight better, they fit better. The crutches feel very safe and steady when you are using them. I just love them and would highly recommend them. My only little gripewould be the arm/sleeve cuffs can sometimes pinch my skin. Not when I'm walking but at other time. Still, I love then.

Positives: Crutches are a brilliant design, well though out, ergonomic and the addition of the cuffs and wider arm attachments make them very comfortable to use, the pattern is beautiful.

A few issues: The crutches arrived looking dusty and I initially thought they may have been reused, a tiny bit of the pattern was scratched off on arrival and the ferrules are impossible to remove to add on the high performance ferrules - my partner and I have tried removing them with a tea towel and after soaking in hot water like the instruction video suggested but it didn't work unfortunately.

Crutches came slightly different shades. The ‘comfortable’ handle is not as comfortable as other crutch handles I’ve tried. The handle cover made it a lot better but not great. The normal ferrules feel a bit narrow and not as sturdy as others I’ve tried. Still a nice pair of crutches though

I did only purchase the plain black ones maybe next time some sparkly ones.
I feel so safe walking now with my crutches to keep me sturdy

Bought the safe sticks for my grandparents to attach to their walking sticks. They absolutely love them and has made it much easier to carry their sticks when out and about!

My grans exact words were “just to let you know that the crook you sent is the best thing ever. It stays wherever you put it on chairs, tables, just hook it over your wrist it's amazing. You just straighten it or hook it.most sticks now have a straight hand piece and are so awkward when you are out.”

Absolutely high end walking stick.
The sparkles are gorgeous along with a sturdy stick and soft comforting grip.
Perfect for those special times when only glitz and bling will do. Worth every penny not only for quality and strength but for your wellbeing when using it.
Neurodiversity and disability are my superpowers.
This stick just adds to the wonder of it!

Put some life into what isn’t exactly the most exciting purchase. The walking stick is in vibrant fun colours very well made . The service I have had has been exceptional

Beautiful looking rainbow walking sticking. Very comfortable handle. I was just a little disappointed that I paid so much money for a stick with a rainbow sticker around it. On the first day I dropped my stick and it chipped the sticker. I guess I was hoping for a special coating or something for the price.

The walking stick is great and the handle is very comfortable. The reason that it didn’t get 5 stars is that when folded it’s held together by an elastic band. For the cost of the stick I would have hoped for something more. But I would definitely recommend!

So comfortable to use and love not hearing the vlick click. , but think i need to buy larger cuff next, when iv got jumper n big coat on cuff on them doesnt go over

I do love a bit of bling This stick certainly made me gasp! It's soo beautiful. It was everything I thought it would be and more.Im going to get a few more. They are very sturdy. And no noise when I was walking.

Super fast delivery and what an amazing crutch ! So quiet and comfortable. The only downside of the purchase is that I had to spend so much money on import duties from England to the Netherlands, which feels like such a waste. But it didn’t stop me from buying them!

I saved up for these crutches after seeing positive reviews on their website and social media.

I ordered a pair of black crutches. They were fine when they arrived, but quite difficult to adjust the height as there is only a hole on one side, so it’s difficult to find.

However, over 3 weeks, the ferrules wore down considerably. I reached out expecting it to be a fault with those specifically and that I could get a replacement. I was instead told to order the high performance ferrules for £50 a ferrule! When I challenged this, in part saying that there own ferrule subscriptions are every 3 months minimum, I was told that I may be outside of the weight limit (I am not), using them on uneven ground (I was not) or using them wrong (using them under instruction from my physio).

I ended up having to explain the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and asked for a repair (new pair of ferrules) preferably, but they instead chose to immediately give me a packing label for a return. They also took a long time to refund me and I had to chase repeatedly. As they offered me a refund so quickly, I am concerned they know there are product quality issues and are instead blaming the users.

I am very disappointed as this is supposed to be a small, good quality company. I was expecting good customer service and did not get it. I will not order again from them.
