The cool fire training system is an exceptional tool for dry-fire practice and core skill development. The system is easy to use, safe and simple, and allows dry fire with realistic recoil and trigger reset, and the associated laser allows you to gauge performance. And the robust line accommodates most defensive Firearms. I recommend this system to all of my students!

Customer service was very responsive and knowledgeable. Only issue was the laser that was sent with the kit did not fit the gun. We were able to remedy the situation though and everything worked as described.

It's pretty cool to be able to train inside like you would outside or at the range.

The website was easy to navigate and the ordering process was made simple and effective. Didn't have any problems, order came as expected. Product is great we have since ordered a secondary barrel and laser.

I had trouble finding the specific Kit to match my gun on the website, but the staff was able to find and present me with a solution. It interfaces well with my gun and does simulate a good bit of recoil, the laser attachment is a must for visual feedback and training. This will allow me to practice more often at home and will soon pay for itself in ammo, gas, and range fees.

Rapid Fill Adapter Laser broke, they promptly sent a new one out to make up for it. Good customer service

I picked up the kit for my Glock 17 in December. It was a great addition to my dry-fire training regimen. The barrel fit perfectly and allowed reliable slide cycling with every trigger pull. When I ran into the CoolFire Trainer guys at the NRA Annual Conference in Houston, I got to try their AR-15 model. It was another home run from CoolFire Trainer, so I picked one up. It was a perfect fit in both my Aero M4E1s and my mil-spec AR15 uppers, and again, it cycled the bolt reliably with each trigger pull. Using the G17 and AR15 CoolFire Trainer setups together allows for flawless multigun training sessions away from the range, delivering realistic recoil impulses that make dry-fire sessions feel more authentic. As an added bonus, each trigger pull using the CoolFire Trainer G17 saves twenty-five cents, and with my AR15 it's over fifty! In the first few months of owning these, they've more than paid for themselves. I'm a fan of both systems and recommend them to anyone looking to make better use of their time away from the range.

I got coolfire for my vp9. The spring isn’t strong enough to put the gun back into battery. But this might be a vp9 issue. Coolfire sent me a second unit. So I use the standard spring. I only get like five shots per charge, but it has realistic recoil. And i can practice at home. Imagine indoor arena where everyone has a coolfire trainer with laser tag vests

The system is incredible, makes dry fire training SO much better. Easy to put together and use. Only 2 minor issues that made me drop from a 5 star to a 4. First, re-assembling the pistol with the CoolFire barrel isnt always easy. You have to find a very specific "sweet spot" between the slide and the frame in order to get the slide to go on. Second, the laser is adjustable but since its only on for a split second when you fire, it doesnt have a good way to quickly get it zero'd. I had to use my strikeman to track each shot and adjust. Seems like a silly engineering miss since a micro switch to take it from "by shot" to simply "on" would fix the problem. Otherwise I love it and use it almost daily!
