I think the building control must have missed this development at little rushes we have drains not connected roofs in poor state and in places no insulation, boiler not fit for size of house , unvented soil stacks in loft space causing condensation and smells , bad fitting windows and doors , movement on subfloor causing tiles to crack complete joke of a company 4+ years we have been here and they still can’t get there paperwork in order to hand over the development to the residents shocking

You hear of some builders not being very great, that is not the case with Cora homes!!! Their workmanship is impeccable, the standard is absolutely second to none!!!
Brendon is a credit to Cora homes, he is such a nice guy to deal with. Nothing is too much trouble. Any problems/snagging is sorted out straight away. He has made our whole house moving experience so much easier and Debbie who is in the show home. She keeps you well informed and sorts out any issues you might have.
Believe me if you buy a Cora home it will be the best decision you have ever made. It certainly was for me

Brenden, Debbie and the whole team at Romney Meadows have been absolutely amazing assisting my partner and I purchase our first home. Nothing is to much for the site manager Brenden, any questions or extras we have wanted he has helped me arrange. The team are friendly the homes are finished to an excellent standard and we are so pleased to be moved into our stunning first home. Thank you Cora we are extremely pleased 😃

Cora were previously Barwood Homes. Search for them and see some of the earliest reviews to judge the integrity and professionalism of this “builder”. If you want to see for yourself the level of “landscaping” on the public open spaces then take a look at The Old Stour development in Alderminster. This is after 4 years of occupation by the householders. It’s disgraceful and should have beautiful wild flowers and trees not dead trees and unkempt grass and beds full of weeds. All the houses at The Old Stour have had every tile on their roofs removed and nailed correctly to comply with building regulations. Avoid this company and any other names they come up with like the plague.

We worked with Barwood Homes (Cora) on the recent show home installation at Great Bowden. Mandy and the site team were so easy to work. We couldn't be happier with the end result. It was a fantastic product to work with and has been finished to a brilliant standard. We look forward to working with the Cora team again.

It was such a pleasure to work on the Barwood/Cora site at Redhill last week .Dan and Josh were so knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful.

I purchased my property in august, it is finished to an impeccably high standard. All snagging issues have been sorted promptly and the site manager ensured that I was happy with all changes made. They have been very respectful of the fact that we are living around them building the rest of the development. I would definitely recommend barwoods!

Had a few issues I'm not going to say it's been perfect because it hasn't, communication prehaps needs some work between site and customer services but overall have dealt with lovely staff from customer service, we are loving the house on Eagles Edge and the guys on site are great Josh and Callum have been brill and always try to resolve any issues personally

Wow! What an experience.
I’ve recently moved into one of the 2 bedroom homes up at Eagles Edge, Arnold! From the day I got my keys the lads on site have been amazing. The site manager Josh met me (with 10 minutes notice) to get my keys. He did a full walk round, was super thorough and nothing has been too much trouble.
I had a snag list to complete, which was near enough pointless as the houses are finished to near enough perfection.
Josh and all the guys on site have gone above and beyond in regards to questions, queries or even just helping me carry things around.
I couldn’t recommend Barwood homes and in particular the team up at Eagles Edge enough!
Thank you all for making my house move so seamless.

I have recently purchased a Barwood property at Romney Meadows and have been so impressed with the friendly welcoming approach. From day one the site team have been nothing but exceptional, with any move and especially new builds you have to expect things might need attention and that there will be teething problems but Brenden and the rest of the site team including Debbie & Mandy are helpful, respectful and nothing is too much trouble, The build and finish quality are second to none and I already feel at home and settled.

Fantastic service, really efficient and friendly too. Very clean and tidy and clear communication skills.

We bought plot 29, Romney Meadows. From start to finish we cannot fault the service that Debbie and Mandy provided us with. They are a credit to Barwood homes. Very professional and honest and helped us with every minor detail. Once moved in a few very minor teething problems which you expect from a new house, but was quickly resolved by site management Dave and Brendan. The whole experience was top service and we would highly recommend buying a house from this company. Thankyou

We met Deborah at the show house at the Romney Meadows site of Barwood Homes, having been referred by the estate agent Brown and Merry. Since that first visit we have called on her several times to clarify details. She has always been extremely helpful and informative and we happily recomend her and are proceeding with the purchase of a property at the development.

Barwood Homes is a great company to work for. The attention to detail in the homes is superior to other developers. We have worked alongside Barwood for 6 years and together have helped grow our own business too. Steve the construction director is exceptionally thorough on site and ensures the properties are at the best standard and quality possible. He has done things I have never seen other directors do to go above and beyond for the clients buying their homes to get the highest quality finish. All sites are organised and professionally ran with a very keen interests in the environment which we are learning to adapt to and take on board to help make our own business more environmentally friendly.
