Mostly really good service. However, when asking to pay for flooring as an add on/extra, this was rejected and have had to move in without the flooring being fully fitted. This seemed strange to me, as it could have easily been fitted, even with me offering to pay extra to have it done before moving in.

We are in the early stages of working with Barwood Homes and so far our experience with them has been great. Their team is a pleasure to work with, they have great communication and an eye for detail.

We find Barwood Homes to be one of our best clients. From their diligent tender process, easy flow of communication and technical information, to their prompt monthly payments. They put an unrivalled importance on their sub contract relationships, which helps to ensure that their end product is of a very high standard. Their commitment to customer satisfaction is second to none.

Very conscientious and trust worthy.
The site team are very knowledgeable. All of whom are dedicated to providing a safe working environment, always with a view to producing a high quality product for the end user.

Having recently moved into our new home there was the inevitable snagging list. Barwood do this differently to most in that you have 7-days from completion to report any issues. So a real chance to see that everything is at it should be.
Unfortunately we did have a water leak which caused some mess. However we give 5* for the speed & efficiency this was dealt with and for Roy!
Roy is an absolute diamond, someone who really cares and takes pride in his work. Friendly and very respectful in keeping mess to a minimum and cleaned up as he went through his list. Most were just minor snags but the large hole in ceiling & top of wall was sizeable. We were completely shocked by the seamless repair. Honestly you would really need a magnifying glass to see where the damage was. Roy, thank you. We are very pleased how this all went, especially after the rather stressful 48-hours over Jubilee weekend when the leak occured. We love our bright spacious home and the quality of appliances and components used to create it. Well done Roy & Barwood Homes.

We have been very impressed with the emphasis placed on customer service to ensure a wonderful experience when buying a new home in a recent visit to the development. We are currently looking for a new family home and felt very informed and welcomed.

We are currently in the process of buying a Barwood Homes property. We are in a chain where there's been a last minute holdup. We cannot thank Barwood Homes and particularly Luke Simmons enough for working with us to ensure we don't lose the house that we are so excited to be making our new home. The chain process has been so stressful, but thanks to Luke and also Debbie, our fears have been allayed. Thank you for being such considerate developers.

Barwood refuse to accept any liability for poor workmanship. No sealant or rubber seal around bath taps has lead to leakage under the bath which has seeped through to the adjoining room and ruined the carpet. Black mould all along the floor. No help whatsoever from customer services!!

Had a member of the Barwood Homes team round this week (Roy Paul), to put right the few things on the snagging list. He went above and beyond, and did a great job.

Roy came today to complete the snag list for my Barwood home, he was fantastic, he delt with all the issues to a very high standard. Brilliant customer service 5⭐️

Roy the plumber came out and made good the damage the leak had caused and did a great job!

We moved in 4 years ago. On the whole, happy with our house.
Once your two years are up, Barwood offer nothing by way of support or advice, they just fob you off.
We have recently discovered a significant condensation problem in our roof. Their team gave invalid excuses and declined to help. Barwood bosses, in my experience, do everything they can to avoid calling you themselves. They find the quickest, lowest input solution, without care for the customers or for fixing the issue permanently, and ask the poor team that man the phones to make the difficult calls. They are a big fan of putting in a middle man to avoid facing the challenge themselves.
Really, really disappointed with our recent interaction, feeling let down.

We moved into our new Barwood home two days ago! Although the conveyancing process was extremely stressful the staff at Barwood did their best at all times to work with us, finding solutions to issues as they arose, being responsive, dynamic and above all friendly and personal. A big thank you to Mandy Soames for all of her efforts to help us meet the ever moving timelines and Clare Hayward for allowing us shelter on a cold, stormy day waiting and staying with us until completion had finally gone through.
From first impressions living here the house is well designed and finished and we are hopeful that snags will only be minor cosmetic ones. The development is well thought out and an attractive environment.

Hi I purchased a beautiful farm house redeveloped and me and my family are very pleased with the service and and price we paid was fantastic I would always consider dealing with Barwood homes in the future and a big thank you to all the staff that I had dealings with first class.
