Sadly we had to claim for our poor little dog. Corinium were efficient and supportive,with very little input from me, would recommend.

Dog got sick. Vets made her better. Vet made many dollars. Corinium refunded cost minus excess and old dog 20% co payment. They were not terribly quick but thankfully dog remains quick. Certainly... Toon meer

ABSOLUTELY BRILLIENT!!!!
Well what can i say about Corinium except outstanding. I have had pet insurance for many many years as my pets are my family. I as you can imagine have had dealing with many other pet insurance companies and Corinium by far for my pets needs and my reassurance have excelled. They continue not to disappoint and believe me my pet had a back accident which lead into 1000s and Corinium have not questioned nor unendated me with calls , Questions etc. Thank you so much for all your help you have and continue to give and a special thank s from my furry pooch Xena .

Headline cover doesn’t match payout
We had a Lifetime policy with Corinium. After emergency treatment and euthanasia of our dog, we claimed £848.89. £5.60 was paid.
Euthanasia and cremation costs were excluded under the policy wording. The claim was handled by Trent-Services and underwritten by Watford Insurance Company Europe Limited.
The Financial Ombudsman agreed the exclusion applied. I’d strongly advise reading the full exclusions carefully, especially around end-of-life costs, before purchasing.

Claim moving int9 new year
My claim was handled promptly. As my claim moved from one year into the next I was a little confused when part of it was seemingly rejected. The call handler explained it well and I was satisfied immediately.

Everything was smooth
Everything was smooth. I had to make two claims sadly, vets did the first one. And I did the second one. Both times, the processing was quick. I wish I had done the claim myself and saved £35! First payment was prompt (too prompt in fact, when we had to go back due to infection, vets charged £20 for continuation because they had closed the claim as payment has been made)
Second payment was in a reasonable time frame.

A Satisfied Client
I made a claim following my dog needing a visit to an emergency vet.
The claim was settled to my satisfaction, however it took a lot longer than I expected it to & I was amazed to be told that GDPR terms applied to my dog's health history. I am familiar with GDPR, & it does not apply to animals, therefore my claim could have been settled sooner than it was.
Other than the above minor gripe, I was well satisfied with Corinium.

I can't recommend Corinium enough.
My dog has been through 2 separate health issues and each time I've dealt with them its been a pleasure and claims are paid promptly. It goes to show decent insurance companies do exist!
