Crabtree & Crabtree Reviews

Excellent service all the way through our booking

The description of the property was exactly as the written on the website. I was kept well informed before the holiday, with an excellent description of how to access the property, a further email explaining about building works (which didn't affect us) and both an email and a text with the key code which very sensibly didn't give the name of the property. All the emails have been very friendly and informative. I'm very pleased with the service.

Personal service and excellent communication.

We stayed at The Old Manse, Smailhome just outside Kelso to celebrate my milestone birthday. My family chose this large house because it perfectly catered for the multi-generational gathering that they planned for me for my birthday. Crabtree & Crabtree had many lovely large houses to chose from, but this one was perfect and a wonderful weekend was had by all. The house itself was simply beautiful – immaculately presented, spacious, and full of character. Nestled in extremely peaceful rural surroundings, it offered the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. There was plenty of space for both quiet moments and lively group gatherings. Each room was beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean, making everyone feel right at home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable - commented on by all that stayed! The kitchen was well-equipped, making meal preparation a breeze, and the large grand dining room was perfect for our lovely Sunday roast dinner - a large leg of lamb from a butcher in Kelso. Crabtree & Crabtree also provided an extremely comprehensive guide for how to operate and locate all the facilities in the house which was extremely useful; they certainly take the letting of holiday properties to the next level.

Superb service. Attentive, timely, helpful, and with clear instructions. Service would be difficult to beat - it was excellent. Thank you!

An exceptionally good company who have been efficient, flexible & professional throughout our booking of Longstone Lookout in Northumberland. Good, prompt and effective communications and very friendly on the telephone. Would definitely use Crabtree & Crabtree again. Thank you.

Great communication, directions & information from booking to check-out. Would definitely book with Crabtree & Crabtree again.
Our stay at Rose Cottage, Bamburgh was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to rest & relax in. Beautifully decorated, clean & incredibly comfortable. Perfectly located with easy access to the village centre & the most magnificent view of Bamburgh Castle. The log fire was so comforting & really added to the ambience of the cottage. The welcome basket containing bread, marmalade, tea, coffee, eggs & milk was a great surprise & very appreciated. We also enjoyed playing scrabble, amongst other games provided. We cannot fault our stay in Rose Cottage & would highly recommend staying. A true home away from home.

Great property and service from Crabtree and Crabtree. We’ll be back.

A stunning cottage in a beautiful ĺocation with everything that we required for a relaxing holiday. The service was very professional and kept me well informed.

Easy to book, helpful staff and good communication.

Lovely and extremely helpful staff at C&C,

Excellent service in every way. We will certainly book through Crabtree & Crabtree again.

Excellent, very responsive service. Highly recommend the team.

Having stayed in many Crabtree properties (which have always been wonderful) this one fell short of the standards I excepted . House was not clean, property was definitely in need of an overhaul.

Wonderful service from start to finish, we have booked previously with Crabtree and Crabtree and I know I will book again, the properties they handle are excellent.

As a regular customer of Crabtree and Crabtree once again the service was excellent. The cottage was exactly as described and booking was very easy. As part of the Kailzie estate it was in a great position, warm and welcoming and when needed within easy reach of Peebles .

Great communication. Even contacted us to check we were OK with the bath being replaced with a shower, before our visit. The Bothy was exactly as advertised, and it was such a relief to find everything as expected. Wouldn't to hesitate to book through Crabtree & Crabtree again. To be honest, I'd be nervous not to!!

Very straight forward process

Property just as advertised

Payment process very clear

We had a couple of hiccups during our stay this time - nothing major but the Team at Crabtree & Crabtree swung into action and all was sorted quickly and efficiently. We've used C&C many times now and find them consistently professional, responsive and friendly. The properties they represent are always stylish, well presented and great places to stay.
