Terrible service
Terrible service. They never refund the money, even though they never show up to fix their machines, no matter how many tickets you open. Very fraudulent practices.
After approximately eight phone calls…
After approximately eight phone calls and multiple service tickets, the company promised to call me back immediately. That was five days ago. Each time I speak with someone, I’m told a manager will call—yet no manager ever does. The online service ticket shows that a technician has been notified, but no one actually comes.
We’ve been leasing from this company for quite a while, and they certainly have no issue collecting their payments. However, getting someone on the phone or getting a service technician to make necessary repairs is nearly impossible.
Currently, one of the washing machines is leaking into a condominium unit. We unplugged the machine, and the technician claimed it was repaired, but the issue persists. The unit remains unplugged, and although they have a key, no technician ever arrives.
This company has been extremely difficult to deal with—truly some of the worst communication and customer service I’ve experienced in Charleston, South Carolina.

This company is the bottom of bottom. Constant app malfunctions, machines they offer are terrible, and hardly wash or drying your clothes. If you own an apartment complex and go with this company you are screwing your tenants and making a headache for yourself! This company should be sued for false advertising as well as stealing money from customers like me and possibly you! Customer service is useless, and wish I had the means to drive to their headquarters so I could talk to these scumbags face to face. Absolutely disgusted with this company!!!

When I attempted to add money to my account on the mobile app, my credit card was charged but no funds went on the account. Next I tried buying a laundry card at the kiosk. Same problem. My card was charged but no funds were added to the card. Without funds on the account I was unable to start the machines. I had already loaded the washers with laundry and added liquid detergent. I had to haul it all back to my apartment and wash my sheets in the bathtub. What an ordeal! I called the company and was put on hold for ages. Once I finally spoke with someone, they weren’t able to resolve the issue of not being able to add funds to my account. They only said they would refund my money. I’ll believe that when I see it! I guess I’ll be going to a laundromat or handwashing my clothes from now on. Sheesh! What a scam.
It's been over a year at Willow lake…
It's been over a year at Willow lake Apts building 624 we have yet to get a working dryer. They tried repairing it several times. Here's a idea replace it. Some people have kids that can't always go to a laundry mat. Will see if management can find a more reliable company.
Takes forever to show up, leaves without fixing.
Machines are always breaking at Ithaca College which is serviced by CSC. The app has never worked properly. They came to update the machines to work with the app last year and caused a flood (why does the app need a water line?). Very often they would come to service a machine but would leave without changing anything except for resetting it. I have never seen them clean a machine, clothes always smell a little musty and the dryers have so much old dried gum on the drum.

Laundry used to take just the time that it took to put laundry in the machine and scan your card for pay. Now it takes an extra 2 to 3 minutes per cycle because we're forced to use a broken app that forces you to login every time and never saves your information. Then you have to scan the machine, sometimes this is quick, sometimes it can't find the machine at all.
Also one time after spending more than 10.00 dollars doing laundry one day I had a remaining balance of 2.00 in my account and for some reason the machine stopped letting me add time to a dryer cycle that cost .25. Where it used to say pay now a few seconds earlier, it only said add funds.
If you have a choice I strongly suggest not giving these scammers money.

This company somehow has turned the reviews off or you can't do reviews or they're signaling out people that give honest reviews as like myself, we've complained over a year about a machine that has not worked, in a senior citizen apartments, this has cost stress with many seniors that are actually disabled and can't really go to a laundromat, they just don't care the problem they put on our backs, management at northlake apartments got on to them about this and so did everyone else, now what they did is come out they put a new machine in for what they did is they put one in it cost you more to actually effectively do your clothes, also they took the dryers they lowered the heat settings on the dryers to where it cost you double, this is what you get when you get a really bad non-caring business about its consumer, all they care about is the money they make. In fact one of the times that I called up there and told them the information about the same washing machine, they did nothing so when I called back they said they didn't even have a notation of the complaint I made and I was talking to the same exact girl did I get the complaint too. Just company now is showing 4.6 Stars when it only had like 2.1 Stars but it only has five reviews and before it had hundreds, how can you explain this. Actually I've got screenshots of it. This company is no good and has no business being in apartments for senior citizens that are disabled and that are actually on their last leg of life, you take advantage of people like this that just says a lot about the company and they're respect and consideration for people that are elderly. These people need to find God or something, I know they're from New York, and they have a store here in Memphis Tennessee, wow I wish they'd go back to New York we don't need that here in the Bible belt, I'm also aware that it is against the law to delete and prevent people from doing honest reviews. So here's what I'm going to do I'm going to write out a statement and have everyone in these apartments that use the one machine they've been using it plus the two machine they're using now and tell the difference, this will be proof that they are being deceptive.

I live in a condo community and this company took over maybe a year ago or little less. Our community has a laundry house but also some buildings had their own washer/dryer adding value to that building. They have now restructured and are not replacing the machines in the building I bought into 10 years ago so now I have to go up and down 3 flights of stairs and give all access to my personal phone for the apps that took over an hour to register my account to be able use the machines! Completely unacceptable! Devalued my time & properly value! Taking out a loan to get my own machines & hook up’s, fighting with the HOA to approve is way better than giving them one more cent!
Maybe they’re getting better?
As a tenant I have no other choice but to suffer through this company. The washing machine breaks down every six months or so and they put in a new one last year and it’s already broken again. Finally they are inching into the 21st century by promising us new machines with card swipes instead of being coin operated. Let’s hope they actually function. But I gave them two stars because it looks like they are finally trying to actually provide the one thing they do as a company. Given that Seattle has few and far between laundromats it’s important to have a functioning washer and dryer.

I put service request into the app with no follow up I put a request for a refund into the app with no results. If I’ve ran this building, I would ask this service to be removed and I would find a new vendor to come in.
I have called many many times
I have called many many times, given case numbers or reference numbers, reps being rude, wont transfer me to their bosses, incompetence, lies etc. I have been not been given my refund to close my account to move. They owe me over $12.00!! Im angry!!!! Also in all the time I lived here the dryers never dried my clothes period. If anybody has a class action suit I'm interested!!

Talk about a turnaround
Talk about a turnaround, for the better.
Our apartment’s management team (Bridgeyard Apartments in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia) partnered with CSC a few years ago (not sure - maybe two to four years). Things at first were rocky, I think mainly because the washers and dryers were old and not user-friendly. There was, however, maybe in the last 18 months, a total re-setting, and it has been amazing. The CSC app hums, no problems. The machines work, no problems. I can go to the laundry room at any time of the day, and I'll find a machine ready to go. Price is fair, linking with my AmEx works perfectly. The machines now are totally reliable, and the output is a batch of clean clothes that have been washed and dried according to my directions. I totally appreciate the steps our residential management team (and Laramar Group) took to bring our laundry room way into the present and future.
Everything I read about this company…
Everything I read about this company makes me angry.
1. They serve ads to paying customers for unrelated services.
2. Their privacy policy is total trash. They’ll stalk you across the internet if they want is the tldr.
3. Laundry costs $5.50 per load in my building.
4. They just sent me an email telling me I haven’t done laundry in a while.
5. They send me spam emails regularly with “a free gift” that’s $30 off things that cost at least $50 and are overpriced.
Their customers are a captive audience and they know it, and they take full advantage.
SLOW TO RESPOND
We have only TWO washing machines in this apartment complex. One of those machines continues to be "Out of Order" again and again and again, so we only really have ONE machine for this entire apartment complex. This machine NEEDS to be replaced, and I know that will never happen. CSC Service Works will be VERY slow to reset the machine so it can be used. They are SO incompetent, that it is time to find a local laundromat.
$9.00 to wash one basket of laundry

You have to go to the laundry room just to find out if there are any available machines. Once you select the machine on the app it takes several tries before a successful attempt.
