I am writing this on my aircraft, waiting to take off, with the full knowledge that I would not be on here today without Carolyn's dedication to her clients which goes well beyond anything I have previously experienced.
When you book a holiday online for holidays, you may save a pound or two, but when something goes wrong you have no one fighting your corner.
We experienced this last year when our cruise was cancelled due to Covid and companies went bust, but even more so this year when I realised 2 days before I was due to fly that my passport was out of date.
Carolyn rallied round immediately and checked into all the options for me. She constantly readjusted those options as the goalposts moved again and again in the effort to get me on holiday with my family. She must have literally spent HOURS on my behalf and even supported me withy anxiety on flying alone and in small aircraft, giving me time to consider my options and not putting pressure on me by reserving options for me to help me process the situation
With no emergency appointments available for passports it was really tricky, but with her support we sent the family on holiday 2 days ago and I am on a flight out now slightly under 2 days later.
It is not worth the risk of booking online, I recommend this independent travel agent with all my heart. Enjoy your holidays!

Nov 4th 2020 I had to travel to South Africa during this difficult time of the Covid pandemic. My husband has been in SA since'lockdown' and I wanted to join him. I tried two travel agents prior to 'C'The World and I have to be honest they were not at all helpful, perhaps this was due to the fact I was only going to purchase a return ticket to SA and they may have thought that there wasn't enough profit in it for them to bother! I phoned CThe World and I truely expected to receive the same treatment. I was wrong!! Carolyn Park was so very helpful with advice telling me all the rules and regs regarding departing UK and entry into SA. Checking my documentating was in order. Helpful tips regarding the required Covid test, reserving my seat, ordering my required onboard meal. Offering to print off my covid test. delivering my flight itinary to my door and generally making my booking so stress free. Also, questions I wanted answered prior to departure with BA were all answered and even if she thought that they were trivial she didn't say and always came back with answers.

From now on what ever my holiday plans will be either in UK or abroad I will always use Carolyn from C The World Thornbury and I am encouraging my friends to do likewise. Carolyn even stayed up to make sure my flight which was late in departing from LHR took off before going to bed. One can't ask anymore from a travel agent.

Just received our refund for Sicily holiday cancellation, due to be there this week. Have found C The World excellent from the moment we enquired about the holiday through to setting it up with KirKer specialists in line with our requirements. Unfortunately Covid has turned everything on its head but the MD and staff have kept us informed throughout to the point of our refund. Can’t wait to be able to use them again once Covid is under control.

I want to share my experience with travel agent C The World in Bath UK. I am an Australian who lives part of each year in our flat in Bath and the remainder of the year in Sydney. My experience relates to the growing uncertainty around the Coronavirus in March. This uncertainty had pretty reached its crescendo by mid March. On the 17 March I finally decided to arrange a flight back to Sydney. At that time Bath was pretty much deserted which was very disconcerting. I tried one travel agent in Milsom Street who said there were not making any flight bookings because of a possible "legal liability". Flight Centre was closed for renovations which was somewhat ironical given their issues. Getting desperate at about 1.00 on 17 March I came across C The World who I had passed on countless occasions in The Corridor in Bath. In common with many other businesses C The World was shutting their office to comply with the government's work from home coronavirus rules. I met Zoe Barnes who spent several hours trying to arrange a flight ASAP. Zoe managed to arrange a flight with Emirates at 1.00 on the next day 18 March. I was very grateful for this and for her efforts especially as she had never met me before and as I said she was busy closing their office. Then at 10.00pm on 17 March I received a phone call from Carolyn Park from C The World who I think is the co owner of C The World informing me that the Emirates flight had been cancelled. Then from 10.00pm Carolyn assisted me and after much effort on her part managed to arrange an Emirates at 9.00 on the next morning 18 March. Also Carolyn assisted me to arrange a National Express bus to Heathrow leaving from Bath at 4.15am on 18 March. By 9.00 am on 18 March I was in the air on my way back to Sydney to be with my family. As I said to both Zoe and Carolyn I will forever be grateful for their tremendous efforts and will never even consider an alternative travel agent in Bath for our travel needs. I think their efforts were way beyond the call particularly as I was a first timer client. If you live in or near Bath please use C The World whenever you can! Laura went out of her way to ensure that my sister and I had a trip of a life time to Sweden in March. We had a marvellous time husky sledging, riding in a snow mobile and even getting to see the Northern Lights.

An amazing team in Thornbury. My special thanks to Rachel who over a year ago helped me to plan a special family holiday fo Florida Easter 2020. The complexities of 3 families needed handling expertly. Now she has seen me through the immense difficulties thrown at us by the Coronavirus pandemic. Despite having to deal with repatriations for other clients she has continued to support us.
This is the first time I have used C The World, and have recommended them to friends, but it will certainly not be the last. Thank you all for your help

We've been using them for years and can't say enough. The team have been through us thick and thin - cancelled flights, rearranged destinations and nothing has been too much trouble. I can't understand why anyone would use a different service or even try to do it themselves. Trust me, it's not worth the bother when there's experts that can do it better!

Have just returned from six weeks in New Zealand having booked through Steve and his team in Bath.
Steve has been looking after us for a number of years now and has always done so superbly.
We have a great respect for his knowledge and advice and for the efficient, positive, friendly way he looks after us.
This latest trip to NZ was a typical example. We arrived in Shanghai on route to find the airport full of masked locals. We were checked in NZ for Coronavirus and found to be clear.
Our return flights had to be rerouted via L.A, which Steve even managed to organise to coincide with our original departure date!

If ever there was a time when an experienced and professional team was needed it has been the last few weeks. Steve and Carolyn have helped us through the problems of reorganising flights to get back home and we know that they and their teams have been working round the clock to help customers. They have also had to contend with the closure of their offices as well as care for their own families.
Testament indeed for the wisdom of using a travel agent instead of saving an odd pound or two on booking direct.

Excellent, knowledgeable, friendly people whether you are using them for a once in a life time holiday or simply booking your flights. Even whilst abroad in Australia they dealt with our cancelled flights query promptly

We always book our holidays through C The World. Carolyn and her team are the best; Their service is second to none. We have been customers for over 10 years and almost every holiday we have taken during that time has been booked through them.

The lovely André has been amazing during this ordeal, we were due to fly to Florida 1st April. He kept ringing my daughter and I to keep us up to date as best he could when we were receiving conflicting information on the media,,and is now sorting out our refund. Andre has looked after us and other family members for many years and we are always confident that everything will go smoothly with him looking after us. Well done André you deserve a gold star and a bonus after all this.

I cannot praise Carolyn and her team highly enough for the trip to Australia that they put together for us in 2017. The choice of hotels was superb, and the suggestions they made for trips was great. And when my wife was taken ill about 10 days before we were due to fly home, Carolyn herself helped us greatly to deal with our insurance company in the UK while we were still in Australia, and also made all the necessary adjustments to flights, cars etc. Nothing was too much trouble. That was what we had to come to expect of her after her similar great organisation of our 2008 holiday to Singapore, Sydney, New Zealand (a month) and Melbourne. Thank you so much, Carolyn.

Andre helped us to put together a trip to the Rockies & together with an Alaskan Cruise. This is now very unlikely to happen as planned in June for the obvious reasons. However Andre has answered all my queries very quickly & in good humour. We have yet to meet but somehow I think I know him well. Thank you for your help Andre.

We have used ctheworld over the last 3 years for many trips. Always highly professional but give you that personal touch as well. We have several up and coming trips booked and feel safe that all will be well whatever happens in these uncertain times.

Just want to say how wonderful 'C The World' have been for us.. My husband and I have done many cruises that Carolyn and her team have booked for us. They have all been amazing. We have had our family with us on various occasions, which has caused many alterations and have all been dealt with very professionally with minimum stress.
We thank you for all your efforts and hope this virus ends soon and does not effect your business too much.
