Pague los 7 días de prueba como todo el mundo a 0.90 euros, y al sexto día me avisan que me pasarán el cargo de 34.99. He contactado con soporte al cliente mediante un formulario y me dice que debo cancelar la suscripción desde ahí y solo aparece la opción de cancelar la suscripción en diciembre!!!!! y me informan que el pago se confirmará. No respetan los 7 días de prueba. ESTAFA!!!!!!

I paid a small fee of about 80 pence for a Cover Letter. There was no subscription agreement. Then 2 weeks laftet £35 was debited to my account. My bank has refunded me while they investigate. This is a Scam and they should be shut down.

Avoid. I've fallen foul. Saw was pending on day 6. Still taken money when should have been cancelled. SCAM. Avoid. Got bank involved. I might be more forgiving of what I'd paid for was useable. Get better results from chapgpt. You can't get in touch and nonresponse to bot chat. To prevent any further transaction have had to cancel my card.

SCAM, just like the rest of the reviewers, paid £0.90 for a cover letter and was subsequently charged £34.99. After complaining I received an inadequate reply, saying that they didn't have an account in my name- how did they manage to charge me then ????

Like everyone else I would not give even 1 star.. total scammed!!! Paid £1.90 for a 7 day trial . On day 6 they took £34.99 from my account (I am still trying to arrange a refund for this with my bank) in the meantime they have blocked future payments..but! I have a bank account with a different bank and they have attempted on 3 occasions to take £34.99 unsuccessfully because I have purposefully nit left any money in the account. I did not even give them these card details!

I have sent numerous emails to them to ask them to cancel a subscription that I did not even sign up for.. total nightmare FRAUD SCUM!!!

Scam artists based in Switzerland. Meant to have a free trial already paid 90p to get my cover letter downloaded which didn’t work and then I contacted straight away to cancel. They said that was fine on an automated response and I had until the 11th (7 days after paying 90p) but then tried to charge me £34.99 the day before it was the 11th. They tried to be sneaky. Thank goodness for Barclays Bank declining it. They have had to change my card so they can’t try this one again.
They’re not following there own terms and conditions they set out as you don’t even get the free trial before they try to charge you the monthly subscription. Horrendous.

J’ai fait un CV le 03/09/2025 sur leur site a 0.99€ uniquement une fois ! Le 04/10/2025 ils me prélevé 34.99 € pour l’abonnement mensuel, hors je n’ai jamais souscrit a leur abonnement j’ai seulment fait le CV a 0.99€ puis c’est tout . Impossible de les contacter pas de numero de tel aucun support uniquement « mail » faites immédiatement opposition a la carte pour éviter qui vous prélevé les prochain mois.

Stay clear!!! I’d give 0 stars if I could. They are a fraud praying on vulnerable people. The scam is executed in a way that even people with IT knowledge fall victim! AI generated letter doesn’t exist it’s a trap to steal your bank details and an attempt to take regular instalments of £34.99 from your account as if you subscribed to a service!! Contact your bank immediately, cancel your card and put a block against this company. It’s so disheartening to see how far some people will go to make money, resorting to criminal behaviour without a shred of conscience!!

SCAM!!!! STAY WELL AWAY. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT RESOND VIA EMAIL TO KNOW WHY THEY ARE TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT.

This service is run by dishonest scoundrels. I came across a “free” AI generated CV service. After the document was generated, I had to pay 0.90 to actually download it. I was annoyed but I figured for .90 just go for it. I NEVER signed up for a subscription. 34.99 for an AI generator is preposterous, and I would never in my right mind agree to that. I received no confirmation email, nor email reminding me of any “subscription” since the initial transaction on 21 July 2025.
I was looking through my transactions routinely today and saw a 34.99 charge for CVottimo authorised on 19 September! I was flabbergasted, I had no clue what it was. Then I backtracked and saw they charged me £34.99 on 22 August and 25 July!! I came across these reviews and realised I’d been scammed as well. These people are so low. Luckily I disputed the charges and my bank are looking into it and working on a refund. Wow. I never thought I would fall for such a blatant bait and switch. Low down surreptitious dogs. I hope every customer gets their money back. A reminder to review your transactions regularly. I sure will. And double and triple check the fine print before submitting your card details for one of these “free” services or “free trials” The fact that the service is free but you actually have to pay to access the CV is so cheeky that it’s somewhat funny. Buyer beware.

Cannot believe after 37 years, ive fallen into the scam trap! I paid £1.90 for an Ai generated cover letter from these guys, which i didnt even receive, then got rifled with a re-occuring £34.99 charge. If it werent for Santanders fast thinking, id be eating out of bins now! Absolutely avoid CVOttimo at all costs. Fuming.

I've spent the last two hours going through my accounts and found a recurring debit on my credit card for £34.99 from May this year. I had no idea what it was so did a search and found exactly the same experiences as the reviews on here. I DID NOT subscribe to a CV review monthly service for £34.99 and because it's so long ago, I cannot remember the ins and outs. I thought that the offer of £1.90 for a CV review was worth having but ensured that I did not follow through with the subscription. this was on 30 April this year. Since then, I've had £34.99 taken from my account, totalling £174.95. Not one email from them to remind me of the subscription. Everything was done on their website hence there is no paper trail for me to try and get my money back from my credit card provider. But I've put in an application for a refund... I've also found their website: cvottimo.com and, with difficulty, as the site keeps reverting to Italian, wrote to them demanding a refund. Looking at the feedback from here, I don't stand a chance.

They are clearly set up to fleece people.

I am fortunate enough to have a bank that tracks potential scams, and on this occasion has been spot on.

They can keep trying, they ain't getting a penny from me that I didn't agree to!

Scammers, never signed up to this and have taken out two lots of £34.99!!!

Totally scam.
Really stealing peoples money. I did not subscribe to this website yet they have charged me 35 US dollars for the past two months.
