Daniel Gore and his team were very polite, informative and good at keeping me updated. My only slight gripe is that my appointments were never on time. I'd usually be seen 45-60 mins after my appointment was due to start.
Overall, I'm very glad that I went through with my laser eye surgery here.

I had just turned 19 in November 21 when Daniel Gore diagnosed Keratoconus in both eyes. I had been struggling with deterioration in my eyesight over the year and it was an awful time for me. Following the diagnosis, Daniel was very clear on what my treatment options were. He gave me the confidence to have the CXL combined with transepithelial photorefractive keratectomy (TransPRK) treatment a few weeks later (on both eyes). I have just had my 3-month check-up and my eyes are healing well. Also I have seen good improvement in my eyesight and really fortunate not to need to wear my glasses now during the day. My next check up to see if there has been any changes or further progression in my Keratoconus will be November 22. I would highly recommend Daniel Gore to anyone.

From start to finish the process of organising and undergoing vision correction surgery was smooth and efficient. Daniel Gore was extremely knowledgeable and provided me with easy to understand information, both verbally and in written form to allow me to make an informed decision about the procedure. Thre was no pressure for me to rush into making a decision. As somebody with very significant short-sightedness (-12) I was unaware that I would be able to have corrective surgery so I was very excited to find out this was not the case. Daniel Gore was friendly and approachable and happy to answer any questions I had, including on the day of the procedure. I am over the moon with the outcome, now having better than 20/20 vision. I had TransPRK laser eye surgery and would highly recommend Mr Gore. He was friendly and professional and above all recommended the most appropriate surgery type for my eyes, regardless of that I had gone to him expecting LASIK and at that point couldn’t imagine having any other type. He puts long term excellent quality medical advice first. The procedure was quick and painless and the aftercare and recovery also far better than expected. Worth every penny.

I highly recommend Mr Gore, his team and all the staff at Moorfields and would give ten stars if possible. From my first consultation I was put at ease and all my questions and concerns were addressed. On the day of my operation the relaxed professionalism of Mr Gore, his team and staff just reinforced that I had chosen the best hospital for this procedure. I had my operation just over six weeks ago and now have better than 20/20 vision, can read without the use of glasses and to say I am pleased would be a gross understatement.

The whole experience and process was excellent. Mr Gore and all of his team were very helpful and provided information that was easy to understand and were willing to answer any questions. On the day of the surgery itself the team were very reassuring and made sure that I understood everything that would happen. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mr Gore and his team.

I was delighted with the results of the surgery. I hoped/knew my eyesight would be much improved but had no idea that my vision would be quite as good as it is now. Being able to see so well without glasses is something I never thought possible. The vision in my left eye is excellent. The vision in my right eye while not quite as good, due to the degree of astigmatism and my decision not to risk having a toric lens fitted, is still good enough for me to feel perfectly comfortable being out and about without wearing glasses. Mr Gore and his team were all professional, friendly, helpful and informative. I am particularly grateful that they found I had glaucoma in my right eye and that Mr Gore arranged an appointment with a specialist who was able to control the issue before I had the cataract surgery.

Very smooth experience. Team are professional and clear in their communication. Mr Gore is a pleasure to deal with. Surgical options were explained and shared decision making supported. Surgery was smooth and as described, with aftercare well explained.
