Very good coverage although not quite as good as a competitor brand! The pump dispenser is very violent and it's impossible to get only a little bit out of the bottle, but aside from that a long-lasting foundation with good colour match.

Great light coverage, amazing

I’m 53 years old, and my skin isn’t the best! I have reddish cheeks, a nose and lots of Brown age spots. I have never found a foundation to match my skin. I rarely wear make-up, I thought I would give this a try. To say I was amazed is an understatement. The colour looks odd in the bottle! But once placed on my skin it matches my natural colour exactly. I will be buying this and only this in the future!

I am very pale but cool so my best matches lean pink, and the shade scanner didn't reflect that. The foundation I received included a shade card that placed me as 'very fair', but bizarrely towards the 'very warm' end of the scale.

Of course, there is no way of knowing this before you hit 'order'. You order and then get a meaningless product code. If you saw the skin tone and undertone suggestions BEFORE you order, you could correct it and avoid wasting the unnecessary costs and resources of producing, receiving and returning a horrible shade.

I will go as far as to say this is the worst shade I've ever bought online. This is because there's no way of knowing what shade is being mixed - a preview and description would be a great improvement to the process.

The promise to match sounded like a gimmick and it was. I had high hopes but the match was far too dark, too brown/yellow and a very strange 'greige' colour.

I appreciate that they will tweak it and send a new shade, but it's no better than trial and error now.

It is also VERY expensive, with a 50% price hike in recent weeks, and I won't commit myself to a product with such unpredictable and huge increases.

I guess if it works for you, great, but you're probably among the lucky ones who didn't need adjustments.

Purchased on the 13/11/2023, they have taken my money, they have then cancelled my order on the 14/11.2023, have not informed me and have not refunded my money. Very poor customer service. Providing an explanation for cancellation is standard practice surely?.

The product is good but its tricky to get the right shade in first place. Although they did change shade after my email for free but thats just waste of resources, effort, and delivery . Which is not very environmental friendly.
They are expensive too and even after receiving it I still prefer to use my Own foundation which is pretty much the same shade they sent over.

Brilliant customer service. Colour match was very good. But I wanted a little more coverage. They made this change for me with no fuss or hassle.
Speedy delivery of amended coverage bottle. I will very happily use this company again.
Product feels brilliant on the skin. No reaction issues, I have sensitive skin. No problems with outbreaks after use.

I was really impressed with the colour match and the delivery. I don't use it everyday, but I've found it can be mixed with my moisturiser if I want a lighter coverage, especially in the summer months or for a daily use. But it also looks great on its own for a bit more of a 'fully made up' look

Very sheer coverage. Went for medium coverage with a glowy finish but honestly it's so sheer!

Absolutely love this foundation. The first one arrived and the shade wasn’t quite right, no issues though as I contacted them and another was sent out and it’s been perfect. Lovely coverage without being too heavy

I first used Dcypher in Summer 2022. At that time the custom foundation was £28, came in a solid feel good looking bottle and had a decent pump. It was the best foundation I had ever used : perfect colour match, great formula that never looked dull or flat, and lasted for hours with minimal shine on my combination skin. The downside was that it was a bit expensive for me. I don't use liquid foundation on a daily basis and this only has a 6 month expiry date so I had to throw a third of the bottle away.

The price then increased to £34. The bottle had changed. It now looks and feels cheap, and at £34 this is not a cheap foundation! New pump too which was terrible, splurting foundation out over my clothes and counter. I can only use it by unscrewing the pump and taking product directly out of the bottle. In the most recent order I also felt that the formula had changed since my other bottles. I was getting spots all of a sudden and the finish wasn't as smooth, but possibly my skin had changed.

I went to reorder this morning, to give it one more try. It now costs £42! That is a 50%, yes FIFTY PERCENT, increase from my first purchase just 16 months ago. I will not buy it again as the short expiry date plus the cheap bottle and pump means for me this is not a high end product and the cost is not justified. Unfortunate because the shade was a great match to my skin and I always found the customer service to be excellent.

Absolutely would recommend dcypher if you’re looking for a foundation that matches your skin tone and needs perfectly. I’ve been looking for the right foundation for years and tried other online services before but never found “the one”. I’m super happy with my dcypher foundation though and can highly recommend their products.

Amazing match! I was skepticle with my usless phone camera and bright lights I used to take the scans but the match is perfect and the coverage brilliant for my skin type. I will only be using this from now on! The only thing I would improve on would be he fact my email for dispatch didn't come until I asked for an update after not hearing from them.

I’d been happy with my Estée Lauder Double Wear foundation but the social media advert hooked me in! I took my photos and quickly received a foundation that wasn’t right for me. I filled in the adjustment questionnaire and was told I’d be sent a new one but with a slight delay. I received my adjusted foundation 28(!) days later and it was unbelievably perfect. I have pale skin, a warm undertone and a cool overtone so I thought I was playing it safe by wearing a neutral foundation. Now that I have a colour that matches my skin exactly (no worrying about blending!) I’m embarrassed to realise how orange I must have been looking for years.
I chose the full coverage, matte foundation which is similar to the Double Wear foundation. The coverage is buildable and is very good.
I will purchase again but I hope I don’t have to wait a month to receive it next time.

I love it. Finally I found one that matches my skin tone to perfection and the texture is amazing

The original foundation was not an accurate match to my skin ,but it is difficult to match my tone .but it was no problem to the team .I let them know they asked some more questions and sent me the next bottle free. And it matched much better than any foundation I have tried .It feels natural and moisturising on my skin ,not cakey.
