Several times my family's prescriptions have either had medication missing or they don't have stock even though you get the same prescription from them all the time. The staff are not helpful and it takes ages for them to get you an answer and their response is usually it's the GP's fault

I’ve previously left a glowing review for this company. At that time, they didn’t have an actual pharmacy in my town but had a small store where you could hand in your prescription and it would be either put in their collection machine or delivered if there were controlled drugs. I found them to be be very quick and on the ball. Often I’d get my prescription filled on the same day, even though their actual pharmacy was a good few miles away. They then took over our local pharmacy and I was so very happy as I’d been so impressed with their efficiency. I don’t know what happened, but they very quickly became every bit as bad as the Lloyds that inhabited their premises previously. They’re so slow with monthly prescriptions. It’d take a couple of days before as I get quite a few things, but now I’m lucky if I get it within a week. The staff are lovely so it must be the setup in the shop, but there is no improvement from Lloyds, sadly

Every visit has been met with professionalism and understanding, instructions and advise are clear and understandable. They have been a greay resource to reduce reliance on the local GP and they consistently deliver for the patients and customers who visit.

Terrible service. Went to collect a prescription to be told I had to come back because there was no pharmacist on the premises. Not acceptable. If the pharmacist is not going to be available then close for a lunch break.
This is in the town centre where I had to pay twice for parking due to this.

Friendly, professional service. We have been customers here for many years and have consolidated all of our family's medication and precription deliveries through Dears. We are fortunate to have such a good service available to us locally.

Ear clinic wax removal. I had my appointment for the examination and procedure with Denise and she was extremely pleasant,professional and thorough. I would certainly recommend this service.

Came in for a blood draw for test. Charlie was very professional and easy communication. Explained all process and also packed blood samples.

My wife forgot to order her meds from her doctor before the Easter holidays.
Dears pharmacy only received the prescription's this morning and went out their way to prepare them the same day, only to find they didn't stock one item. So a lovely young lady called 'Danielle,' called other chemists in the area and managed to get my wife's meds in the afternoon and called me up when they arrived. 'First class service.'

Incredibly helpful dispensary team/base pharmacist at Dears Tranent (EH33 1LN).

They will consistently go the extra mile, and pick up any slack from NHS Lothian services, where appropriate, to ensure patients receive the right care.

Had an appointment at Dears yesterday for cryotherapy. All very simple to understand and the form filling straightforward. A young lady, Susanna, talked me through the procedure. What to expect during, after and the level of discomfort I may experience. This was in a private room. She was friendly and chatty putting me at ease but professional too instilling confidence in both herself and Dears. All done efficiently. Would highly recommend this pharmacy if you are thinking of having a procedure done. Prior to my appointment I had chatted with a member of staff, Evelyn I think, who was very helpful suggesting that I chat with Susanna before making my mind up and I met her then. Have a follow up in a month to check all is as it should be. Excellent customer service from both of these members of staff. Dears should be pleased and proud

Amazing pharmacy
Staff are always great and do their best to serve you.
We’ve used this for collecting prescriptions, pharmacy first; seeing the GP re medical issues as well as the vaccination clinic.
We’re very lucky to have this on our doorstep.

Excellent. I visited last year for travel jabs. They were very informative telling me exactly what I needed and what I didn't. I recently visited for a booster the staff were so friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and I was made to feel comfortable. I would highly recommend.

First time having earwax removal wouldn't hesitate again felt at ease and done very professional place is spotless and the best thing I can hear again.

Just had my ear wax removed at Dears Templhall. Brilliant service absolutely great results. The staff persevered with it until completely clear. Had to turn the radio in my car down as soon as i got in. Cannot thank the staff enough, they were all friendly and very helpful. Ken Smith. Just been into my music room ie garage wow. Best £55 quid I've ever spent. Change that ever to EVER.

Went to templehall pharmacy today. Fantastic service. This was my 2nd ear wax. Staff were very professional and answered any questions I had to a high standard. Shop very clean. Would highly recommend to anyone. Thank you from a happy customer.

Visited branch at Templehall, Kirkcaldy today to have a booster vaccination. Excellent service by Diane. Would definitely recommend to friends and family if they required travel vaccinations!

I had to have a private consultation at the pharmacy today for an issue which has caused me considerable worry. I was dealt with by an exceptionally kind, patient, and empathetic young pharmacist; I think her name was Francesca. I don't think that she is the usual pharmacist. She listened carefully to my concerns and her reassuring manner set my mind ease. The service I received from her was outstanding. Please pass on my sincerest thanks to her. She is a credit to the business.

I recently visited the pharmacy for a general health profile, and I had the pleasure of being attended to by Charlie. From the start, she was incredibly accommodating and made me feel at ease, especially since this was my first time undergoing this procedure. Charlie took the time to explain everything clearly and patiently, ensuring I understood the process. What truly stood out was her skill with the needle, it was unbelievably painless! Her calm and professional demeanor helped me relax throughout the entire experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to guide me through this. Thank you, Charlie, for your exceptional care!!!!!!! She doesn't lie when she says she is good with the needles.

I’m a regular customer of the Leslie branch of Dears and have to say the service I get from the lovely lady at the counter is first class, am sure her name is Isobel. She is always happy to help and has a very cheerful manner

I visit the Leslie pharmacy regularly and the majority of the staff are wonderful, however, there is one older female staff member who is extremely rude to everyone she serves! Very disrespectful and condescending. Should not be working with the public.
