From start to finish, our experience in ordering a large, custom-sized rug made from a remnant was excellent. The help desk staff are very knowledgeable, helpful and pleasant. Delivery was much quicker than we expected and the quality of the carpet is superb! We cannot recommend the company highly enough.

Good website good clear pricing and sizing delivery on time
They pointed out that buying two pieces might be colour variant
Could do with time slot before the day of delivery as makes planning to be in 12 hours very difficult

We bought two large carpets and underlay from Designer Carpets. The carpets were of a very high quality and competively priced. Communication through out the sale was excellent, always being able to talk to someone over the phone. Delivery was problem free and the delivery driver was very helpful. I would highly recommend this company.

This was my third time ordering with Designer Carpet - first 2 were remnants and third was a full order. Every time has been so easy and all delivery dates were communicated well in advance. All the carpets have been excellent and couldn’t recommend them enough. Also very competitive prices!

Highly recommend this online store
We haven't brought new carpets for a while and I knew that I wanted a loop berber style for the texture they give, but was surprised at how expensive they were in our local carpet shops. A google search resulted in me finding Designer Carpet and ordering some samples. The samples arrived within a few days, including 2 direct from the manufacturers and I loved all 4! It was helpful to be able to see the samples in the room. The one I preferred was actually the cheapest, unusual for me, so I gave DC a call to check on stock/delivery date, ordered online and my carpet was delivered today. Estimated delivery time was 8am and it arrived 20 minutes early, delivered by a helpful courier. Carpet was well packaged and its been fitted this afternoon. So, so happy with my new carpet and the service from Designer Carpet. Will definitely be ordering with you again as this is the first room in a long list that need decorating. The price paid for a wool carpet is spot on. Couldn't be happier! Thank you.

Great service and value.
We had seen the carpet we eventually ordered through Designer Carpet in a high street showroom, fell in love with it, but it was way out of our price band. We were really pleased to see the same carpet at a fraction of the the cost on Designer Carpet, but because of the price, we were Initially a little concerned, however there was no need. We were regularly kept up to date throughout the order and delivery process. The driver placed the carpet in the room we requested and the carpet was as advertised.

Fustrating operating model
Dealing with Designer Carpet is incredibly frustrating. Firstly, they only deliver to postcodes one day a week which is not made clear when you order and also severely limits your options. Secondly, unlike every other supplier we've worked with (kitchen units, quartz worktops) they require you to confirm a delivery date before booking it in. We were given less than 48 hours to confirm a delivery slot by which point we'd missed it and had to wait an extra week! They claim there are no other specialist couriers in the country who could deliver it which I find hard to be true.

Carpet delivery is unfortunately different from most other products. There are very few couriers willing to transport carpets safely, and even fewer that are willing to do so with larger/heavier rolls.
We always require confirmation from our customers before booking a delivery date. This is because if the customer is not present for delivery on the day, the delivery will failed, which can then lead to delays and additional redelivery charges.
We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us review our communication processes, and we’re sorry again for any inconvenience caused.
Extremely helpful and professional service
Steven couldn’t have been more helpful in working out an open tread stair carpeting solution for us. He worked diligently on our behalf and kept us up to date every step of the way in producing exactly what we needed. We are very happy with the product quality and the carpet fitted exactly as he suggested. The stairs look amazing and I highly recommend Steven and this company in the supply of designer carpets.
