When I was an expat in Dubai in 2016, I was approached by a financial adviser from Acuma DeVere who offered me to open a US approved international pension plan. I was told this program was approved by the IRS and I can contribute after tax and start withdrawing funds from the pension plan after 10 years free of tax. When I tried to withdraw funds last month after 10 years anniversary, I was told that funds aren't available and I will need to wait another 15 years. This seems like a Pyramid scheme where they are defrauding investors through a complex web of companies including Praxis in Malta and Utmost in Guernsey. I'm posting this to let other people know about this so they don't fall into the same kind of deception scheme with these organizations.

These guys, like most of the financial advisers, have high fee products and unfair conditions. I have taken a retirement fund from Hansard thru them, and after 3 years of investment on which the market has moved up considerably(40%) the fund is up only 10%! why because the high fees! So rather than giving them 1k$/month and after 20 years you will have 400k, just open a brokerage account yourself and invest that 1k/montly into S&P 500 and after 20 years you will have 600k! Thats 200k $ in fees which you are paying and on top of that you will have your money locked!!!

Paul looked after my husbands investment portfolio while we were in Oman.His service during that time was outstanding, and we were very happy. Fast forward to Covid times - my husband passed away unexpectedly, while we were outside our home country ( Australia). Paul and Lauren literally held my hand and guided me through all aspects of the financial and legal process, including helping me with probate lawyers in other jurisdictions, until all investments were safely transferred to me. This, to me, embodies true relationship management. Their support did not end with the transfer of my account.
