Happy I discovered Dewaldens Pram Centre
I am very happy to have found this website online. I went in to my local mother and baby store and was shown this car seat, it was also on offer but unfortunately was out of stock. I had a look online and came across this website, which was offering an even better price!
I was slightly dubious as I had never heard of this website before but after looking at the positive reviews, decided to take a chance and I’m glad I did.
My order came really quickly with no issues. I now have a happy toddler in a really comfortable car seat.
I am so glad I made this purchase.

Order arrived too late
I ordered a travel car seat that was due to be delivered by Tuesday. The seat was urgent, as we were due to leave on holiday on Wednesday morning and we unexpectedly needed a seat for a hire car we had booked (our car had broken down). I waited in all day for delivery, and arranged for it to be delivered to a safeplace just on the off-chance I missed the bell. Unfortunately the seat did not arrive - the driver was 'running late', according to a message I received. Sadly this ruined the holiday, as we couldn't drive anywhere with our toddler and had to pay for the hire car nonetheless. When contacted, Dewaldens said they could do nothing: they couldn't redirect delivery to us in the Lake District, and they couldn't even contact the courier company at all. On their system the courier apparently said they had 'attempted delivery' - yet there was no evidence of this, and no explanation why it hadn't been left in the safeplace. It was clearly not true. We had to keep the item as there was no easy way for us to return it, but the whole situation cost us a great deal of money and inconvenience. No part-refund or compensation was offered (we would have accepted even a token amount as an apology). Very disappointing and we won't be ordered from Dewaldens again.
NOTE: Have amended the days above as mistakenly said we left on Tue when it was actually Wed (the pram was due for delivery on Tue, but arrived too late on Wed).

Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We have already corresponded with you directly about this, however, we felt it was necessary to clarify a few inaccuracies.
The Car Seat was never due to be delivered on Monday. You ordered the Car Seat at 3:09 Saturday Afternoon and it was picked and packed by us by 3:23. DPD then collected it on Monday to be delivered to you on Tuesday. If you had checked the DPD tracking that was sent to you, you would have realised that it was never collected from us until the Monday Afternoon.
Unfortunately, once the parcel leaves us, it is outwith our control what DPD then does; we do not control their schedules or tracking information and have as much control as you do over when/where the parcel is left. We are unable to redirect the parcel to another address, never mind forwarding it on to your holiday destination.
On returning from your holiday, if you wished to return the Car Seat you were perfectly within your rights to do so, although this is not what you asked. Instead you asked for a partial refund and threatened / blackmailed us with leaving us a bad review if we did not do so. We will not tolerate this kind of behaviour.
We absolutely sympathize with you that it caused an issue with your holiday. We did everything we could to make sure your car seat was with you at very short notice. Unfortunately, the money lost on car hire and activities is not something we can take responsibility for. Again, we really are sorry that DPD did not deliver on time but we absolutely fulfilled our duty to ensure that our responsibilities as a seller were met.
By your own admission this is more a problem with DPDs service rather than ours so perhaps you should direct your review in their direction.
