My experience with the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) has been truly exceptional. What made it great was the outstanding level of support and guidance they provided throughout the course. The course content was well-structured, covering a wide range of digital marketing aspects with real-world relevance.

They accommodated my schedule and allowed me to study at my own pace, which is crucial for those with busy lives.

Overall, DMI has exceeded my expectations. Their commitment to education, attentive support, and flexibility make them a top choice for anyone seeking to excel in the field of digital marketing. I'm genuinely grateful for the opportunity and would highly recommend their courses to others.

If I could give a lower star rating I would. Avoid at all costs. Customer support is non existent and when a response is received they are rude and not helpful, essentially saying the student is at fault despite evidence being provided that Pearson Vue revoked my exam in error after the proctor requested I move items around my exam set up which is clearly documented in the video recording and provided to DMI. Then saying I have to pay to take the exam again. All seems like a money making scam. There are other providers of this course that you would be better to study at.

Fantastic course, highly recommend. I came into it with limited knowledge around digital marketing and now have a strong base to build upon. The content is delivered in an engaging way and it's easy to navigate across the course. Thank you DMI!

The response was very professional, while still exhibiting great level of empathy. The was willingness to help from the tone of the feedback and responses provided, which can say quite a lot about the personality of the support personnel(s)

I did two courses there, just finished my Expert course and waiting to be graded. I think they are very well organized and streamlined but the lectures are very vague and not very helpful. The instructors just talk in a lot of generality and nothing specific or deeply helpful. Because I've been doing marketing for several years, I know it already but for anyone just learning, the course wouldn't advance them significantly. Also, the practicals are not great either. Nothing in depth or highly useful. They also ask you to write two long papers but never once give you an example of a paper, which I thought was a bit odd.

Their support staff is excellent though!

First off let me say that I have a BA in Marketing that barely scratched the surface regarding marketing as a whole and only about one or two classes covered digital marketing. It left me with more questions than answers. I started doing a ton of research to learn everything I could about digital marketing and that is when I found the DMI. Lets just say that all of my questions and then some were answered. I have the DMI Professional and the DMI Expert cert. The professional is great and will teach you a lot, but the expert certification dives deep into digital marketing. I no longer have questions, I now have all the answers and information I need to market any product or service digitally. They even provide dozens of tools to help in planning any digital marketing campaign. I'll say this, if you had to choose between a traditional degree or a DMI certification, I would choose the DMI cert every single time. The knowledge you gain from the DMI is just so much better and will give you all the necessary knowledge to actually start marketing digitally once completed. I am extremely grateful for their service and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into digital marketing. Thank you very much!

I signed up for the DMI Pro course in January with a grant from my local council. It was very gratefully received to further my career.

Due to personal circumstances, it took longer to complete than planned but I got it done and booked the exam.

The course material has been useful and really informative, giving me a great background in DM and advancing some bits I did already know. The site was easy to use and navigate which considering they are DM specialists is a good thing however the company (Pearson Vue) they outsource to for the exam is absolutely shocking. Their website is slow, hard to use, too many steps to book an exam, complicated emails in small size text, bad customer service and then problems in the exam that I am now blamed for and generic responses when a more personal experience is required.

It took over an hour to get logged in, it’s a good job I started early otherwise I would be leaving a review to say something different.

I did violate their exam rules which I accept but I had to keep asking for an issue to be looked into as I couldn’t complete certain questions, the only resolution provided was to restart the exam which broke my concentration twice but did not resolve the problem.

If the video recording of my during the exam and the chat box transcript are read, you can see I am being very reasonable by simply asking for a new voucher to retake the exam for free as I’m very reluctant to pay if I’m not able to answer all the questions and give myself the best chance of getting a high mark.

I passed my certification yesterday so just want to preface that this review is based on my experience fully engaging with the course material. I opted to get certified while I was getting my M.A. degree in digital marketing. I wanted more in-depth understanding of digital marketing principles so I could transition into a management role after graduating. However, this course covers everything that you can Google on your own and does not offer any value to “professional digital marketers” for the money you have to pay. I truly think this is a scam and would not recommend it. If you’re a beginner, just use YouTube. If you’re a professional, look elsewhere.

Unresponsive staff, poor quality course content (typo's, low quality exam and practice exams, little thought put into quality of the content, outdated information).

Regarding the DMI Professional Certification.

I'm currently studying the DMI expert certification; I don't recommend it.
I am an expert in Digital Marketing, but I wanted an American Certification since I'm from a different country and now living in the USA, all my titles are from Europe, I arrived at this school through the AMA associated with them.
I love marketing, I could be talking about it all day, but it's so dull that I can't follow and engage with the lessons. I spent around $4.000 and I think I won't complete it.

I came into this course having a digital background and thought I would breeze through it. However, this course revealed to know how many skill gaps and it was really eye-opening to go through the course and learn a whole lot more than I expected. I have a whole lot more confidence approaching my work and I am even more curious to learn more and build my skill.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the course material and have received tremendous support from DMI. I have routinely spoken with Darragh Boyel and have always received prompt responses and tons of support. This, in turn, has made my experience with DMI exceptional.

Would highly recommend DMI and speaking with Darragh throughout the process.

Fast and understanding of my situation!

Really good communication from the team, Darragh Boyle was a great contact for all information required. The Course itself was well structured, easy to follow and allowed me to learn and really put into practice digital marleting skills within my current role.

Very bad customer support and unacceptable lead time to answer simple requests, especially when is assignment submission period. Also, I submitted my assignment mid-February, now is June and still no one is able to to let me know my grade. Very disappointing for such an organization.

Thank you for this amazing experience, mostly of the needed topics in the digital marketing field were included in this program.

I enjoyed my course with DMI and will take more with them in the future.
