Having recently completed the DMI Expert Level Course, I am thrilled to express my gratitude through this Trustpilot review. The experience exceeded my expectations, particularly as someone already immersed in digital marketing. The instructors, industry experts themselves, provided invaluable guidance, and the supportive DMI community enhanced the overall learning journey. The flexibility of the online platform allowed me to seamlessly balance professional commitments. It’s an amazing studying platform and all the stuff you’ll learn is worth it and that’s why I give it 5* however after I did my revision of all the lessons and quizzes I found the final exam nothing like the quizzes/exam preparation exams! I mean listen to every single bit of the classes because the final exam is not easy! Or you know it or you don’t! Be sure you’re fully prepared for it and read every question on full attention and to every word! Overall an amazing course and I got to learn loads from it and that’s why I do recommend and I’m rating 5 stars on it!

I write this as I feel it is fair for future students.
I learned most of the marketing by myself, never did any other course than DMI, which is a full disappointment for me.

There is just so much theory and outdated practical tutorials for all platforms that we are using daily.
A ton of worksheets that, from a practical point of view, are useless. Are you just going to fill in all this forms all the time? Maybe, if you work in some big corporation, where having DMI badge will get a raise in a company, that has no idea about real life marketing.

There were this examples to put things in correct order. What a nonsense! First, click on the icon. Then, click upload. Then … I mean, what is this? Who needs this? There are thousands FREE tutorials online on anything you need. Why am I paying 1800€ for this? Where is the value on that?

You can LEARN just so much MORE if you invest in marketing books on Amazon: 100m leads and 100m offers, 1 page marketing plan, THe nuclear effect, The Adweek Copywriting Handbook, Copywritiing secrets, Hard Road will take you home (great for those starting a business - rock solid mindset there), Grooves Relentless. This is marketing, Contagious, Story telling method, Made to stick, Magic of thinking big.

Invest in those books, read them, make notes. You should understand the concepts of marketing, how to sell, how to make product placement, how to bring value to people. When you understand that, and you realize: Okey, the best tactic for me will be YouTube ads. So, what you do? You google how to rund ads on YouTube in 2024. You don’t go looking videos on myDMI on that subject, they are not relevant, outdated. You have everything you need on Google.

I also went to TikTok workshops twice, paid total 260€ and with investment of 700€ for all the books is so much more valuable. It was interesting, engaging, I just made notes from all the creative ideas and angles I was getting, just by reading a few pages!

My advice: When reading these books, always compare what you are reading with what you are currently trying to achieve or market. You will find different angles, views, and then you will just write down your ideas as they come and implement them.

But on DMI course … that never happened. From start, I was watching each video, then I started to watch with 1.25 speed, then 1.50, then I just skipped a lot and at the end, I marked everything as done.

So, if you are someone who works in marketing, who keeps up to date with things that are happening every day, who follows people on LinkedIn, IG, TT, that provide value, who gets useful email in inbox, who buys books on Amazon, and reads them … then you already know much more than you will get the chance to learn on that course.

I would prefer that course to be much shorter, cutting out all the useless stuff and just make things that are important. I prefer paying 1800€ for 5h course with a lot of value, and without Digital Diploma, then for wasting 30 hours watching all that and dealing with exam and having diploma - its like buying piece of land in UK and becoming a lord, as you can do on lordtitles. You now own a piece of land, so you are officially a lord in UK. And now what? What changes? Its the same with DMI Diploma.

I also did a few quizzes on search marketing I bought, and I kept scoring 60% or more … So, I have theoretical knowledge already, and I won’t waste my time reorganizing tasks in correct order or how to do SEO. I will just write it off as poor financial managing.
Check book 30 months to No 1. Saves you money on their course, and it gives you good understanding on SEO.

Or just find what you need on Neil Patel blog, no need to pay all that money to listen him on the course.

Long story short: If you want to learn anything on digital marketing, don’t buy this course. Use Google, read blogs, books, follow people on LinkedIn...

If you want to learn, DMI is a bad start - read other 1 star reviews.
And if you are good at what you do, DMI course will not help you grow in any way.

I would rather have my money back, but maybe that was my biggest lesson that I learned, as it keeps going through my mind. Always do deep research, check reviews and don’t fall for that limited time offers.

Sorry to write this DMI, but this is how it is. Your platform is great, customer service top of the line. You are fast, responsive. As you should be, if selling a product like that.

I never write bad reviews. I also believe in bad karma, but for that amount of money, if I can just help one person, I do believe that I will create more good karma than bad.

P.s. I am yet to pass my exam, but with doing quizzes for practice, I got more and more nervous, I had to write this. I also don’t even care if I pass or not. Money and time is gone anyway, and this badge is the same as last year's snow.

Alison and her team were very helpful and quick to address my issue.

My ticket was resolved in 4 hours! I woke up at 7am saw the issue; saw the issue and sent the issue in smooth no-lag form on the website, went for my workout; came back showered had some food and checked my phone around 11am and the ticket was registered, and solved. I then checked the emails and noticed just how collaborative and swift the team is.

I had signed up for a email and phone number pop up. I received a call the next day from david at DMI and they were very disrespectful. Very bad customer service because I was actually thinking of purchasing the program. But when one of the representatives proceeds to be disrespectful and call my business little it looks very bad for this whole company. I told him I didn’t understand who i was talking to but he proceeded to question me by asking “how do you not understand”. I explained what I was confused on and he proceeded to raise his voice clearly.

My experience with Digital Marketing Expert course and DMI Institute was great. Each module was clear and easy to follow. The 2 Assignments(Marketing Research and Strategy) had great guidelines and explanations on how to succeed. It was a year of great content and studying material. Thank you!

The Digital Marketing Institute deserves a glowing five-star review for their course offerings and the amount of material they provide. The course material was expertly curated and easy to understand, with friendly instructors guiding students through each lesson. The instruction was thorough and complemented by a wealth of additional resource material to further enrich the learning experience. During a challenging period, Niamh Halpenny provided exceptional service and was a valuable source of assistance.

A complete joke of a company. To begin, I was signed up for the incorrect course. Emailed to have that fixed and then decided I wanted to wait to take any of them. Called their customer service number (takes A LOT to get to an actual person) and was told I’d get a refund because it was “within their policy requirements” for a refund. I was told I’d be refunded within 30 days of speaking to that person and yet I never received it. When contacting again, they offered me only a separate time to participate in a course which is NOT what I was promised and will provide no record of that phone call. I’ve been pushed around and ignored and only given “our policy states…” answers to my inquiries. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY ON THIS PHONY COMPANY. I’ve had to file a police report to get my money back. It’s THAT bad.

Provide valuable and relevant content within their courses, real workplace situations and walkthroughs to support multiple different activities in modules - course content is also clearly explained with multiple resources to help students learn and understand the topics at hand. Glad I chose their postgraduate in digital marketing, I feel DMI actually trains their students rather than full theory based learning with no relevance to how to perform professional tasks. Michelle is extremely helpful and looks after the students with all queries - Would recommend to all

Enrolling in the Digital Marketing Institute was a game-changer for me. I had Michelle Baxter as my tutor in the Digital Marketing Expert program, and I couldn't be more satisfied. Michelle's approach was down-to-earth and practical. She made the complex concepts of digital marketing easy to understand. I am truly impressed with the Digital Marketing Institute content and overall experience and would highly recommend it.
