Ordered Hockey shoes for my son. Website easy to navigate. Choice of delivery dates was helpful. Shoes delivered at time indicated in good condition. Excellent product

I ordered two pairs of hockey shoes as I wasn’t sure what size would fit my son as I had not purchased this brand of hockey shoes before. Unfortunately both pairs were too small so I returned them and got a refund for one pair and an exchange for a bigger size for the other pair. The refund was in my account within three working days and the bigger size arrived within two days of sending the others back. They fit perfectly and my son says they are really comfortable. Very happy with Direct Hockey and their excellent customer service.

I ordered a what I thought was a pair of hockey gloves. After checking out I realised my mistake. I tried to contact them but couldn't find any email address. I filled in return form and sent it back it's been 7 weeks and still no refund

Bought a hockey glove. No size info on the web site so looked at size info on manufacturer site. Had to open packaging to try on. Packaging includes sizing dimensions inside and guess what - it's different. Direct Sports refuses refund even though this is a statutory right. If the vendor does not provide sizing info then where are you supposed to look other than the manufacturer site? Yes there is no sizing info on the product page so there may be a pedantic loophole, but any reputable retailer who cares about customer retention would provide a refund and claim the money back from the manufacturer, whose mistake it is. Buyer beware from this site.

I've still got the packaging. You cannot open the zip lock without cutting the bit above with scissors, therefore it is impossible to try on the glove and return it with the packaging in pristine condition. Terms and Conditions do not override the Consumer Rights Act 2015

Misleading website whilst using their search criteria. Incorrect advice given by them when phoning regarding an exchange/return, overall shocking customer service, no effort made to communicate/help us.
After reading reviews on many forums it appears they have a reputation for not accepting any returns/ refunding, we too like many others have lost money on their refusal to refund, it appears bordering on scamming. Buyer very much beware.
My family will never use Direct Hockey again, 3 of us play/have played National League hockey.

Returned a hockey bag which was too big for my daughter; wanted to get the Medium instead. They sent the too big bag back to me, saying it is "dirty and not in re-sellable condition" - we never used it, it was out of its packaging for tops 20 minutes and was definitely not dirty! They are difficult and dishonest, do not order from them.

Ordered a Grays hockey stick bag, great value and delivered quickly.
I don’t usually write reviews but having seen the poor reviews so far and having a great experience I thought it only fair to do so. I also only realised after purchasing that directhockey.co.uk is part of directsportseshop.co.uk and you’re directed to leave reviews against that company instead (at time of writing c2,900 reviews score of 4.3). Lack of reviews and poor score almost put me off purchasing from DH, so advice would be ignore all these reviews and head to the correct review page!

Terrible customer service. Brought a bag on bank holiday Monday. Paid extra for guaranteed delivery on Tuesday (this was the specific date stated at checkout). Bag wasn’t shipped until Tuesday morning and delivered Wednesday. When I complained I was pointed to a different page that says they aren’t open bank holidays and deliveries won’t be processed. I pointed out that they shouldn’t offer a paid option to guarantee the next day delivery which specifically states the date. Apparently it’s my fault because I was supposed to understand Tuesday actually means Wednesday. Obviously.

terrible customer service we ordered a pair of trainers that were too small for one of our kids. as life is busy we placed an order for a new pair and tried to return the old pair. in fairness we were late by a day or 2 but they refused to accept or allow us to process the return. rules are rules but you have lost a customer for life a bit of flex for customer loyalty would be appreciated.

Great website, good customer service on the phone. Prompt delivery and hockey sticks as expected.
