Very poor service from a flawed system
Signed up for the update service and thought everything was OK until I applied for a new job only to be told that I was not on the service. I rang DBS and they told me that my payment had failed and they had sent me an email to tell me this.
Clearly this did not happan or I would have sent the payment.
I sent a complaint only to be told that they could not tell me why my payment failed and that the email reminder had been sent and that it was my responsibility to ensure that these emails did not go into the spam folder. When I asked what email address the reminder had been sent from it was a completely different address than all of the other correspondance. Having been told that I should put these addresses in my safe contact list I wonder how am I supposed to do that when I was not aware that this email address existed as it had never been used before.
They are very unhelpful and do not seen to realise the impact of these delays.
