If I could rate this place a 0 I would, please DON'T take your babies here. Absolutely awful groomers. My mums dog came back not trimmed up properly, things missed, and his personality for 2 days after coming home was not him, he is normally really happy when coming away from getting a groom but came back distant, wouldnt eat his food and hiding under the table. they definitely did something to our poor baby. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Their tough badger toy lasted 20 minutes. My dogs a chewer but its just a cocker spaniel and most the b & m cheap litter toys lasted longer. Split the ass and face open.

Absolutely wonderful experience with Doghouse. Great videos & tutorials & info for grooming poodle mixes. Great products and most of all fabulous customer service, so friendly, knowledgeable and go above & beyond. Always lovely to shop with an independent who clearly love what they do and enjoy helping customers. Thank you from Obi Paws Kenobi and me!

We ordered the sloth as a tough toy for dogs and it was anything but. Within 20 minutes it was deprived of its filling and totally destroyed. We purchased this more expensive toy hoping it would outlive many cheaper options but that wasn’t to be the case. I’ve contacted doghouse but as yet had no response.

I ordered a dog toy categorised as Tough for my Border Collie. 20 minutes after it arrived it was destroyed. He has had many similar toys that have literally lasted years! Customer Service responded but very unhelpful. Things go wrong, but it is how they are handled that differentiates the good businesses from the bad. I would not recommend.

Ordered a dachshund fleece for a dog that is a bit of a weird shape. I measured as per website and ordered a medium - it fits perfectly and doggie looks so cute wearing it. I will recommend Doghouse to other dachshund owners we come across on our walks! Thank you so much for the biscuits too!

Excellent company to deal with.
A mistake was made with my order but was sorted out straight away by the really friendly and helpful staff.

Really friendly, rang up when there was a problem with my order, there was a missing toy and it was replaced with a slightly better toy at no extra cost. The tough toys lasted longer than most tough toys do in this house😂

What a lovely lovely company! I was searching for a specific pate for our PWD only made in the U.K. and was thrilled to find that DogHouse ships to Switzerland. It arrived much earlier than expected and the personal touch of a handwritten note I found inside put a big smile on my face! Highly recommend & will definitely buy from DogHouse again! 👍

Bought a ball online. It arrived wrong size and wrong colour. Not clear on website. After a long conversation was told I would be sent a complimentary right size ball and a return label for the large ball plus doggy treats for the problem encountered. The next morning received call to say that I would be billed for the right size ball even though I had purchased another product as well for £22. Terrible customer service. I received a refund for large ball minus the postage. I shall not be shopping here again and sadly they have lost a potentially good and regular customer

We’ve been in a few times and everyone was lovely! My dog was groomed by Portia too and she came out looking like a brand new dog! Portia did an amazing job and was super lovely! Will definitely be going back.

I have just discovered the utter delight that is ‘DOGHOUSE’ I purchased a metal dog comb for my Sproker. Wow! Exceptional customer service, delivered in less than 48 hours. Absolutely love The Doghouse! A fantastic resource for local dog and cat owners, great cafe/cake offer AND a brilliant paddleboarding session last weekend. The nicest staff too!

What a lovely cute place. I went for paddle boarding with my guide dog. It was so fun! Staff were friendly. Wished I had more time to stay and explore the shop after the session but it was closing. Definitely recommend to other woofers!

The Dog House is a super pet (dog) store/cafe/grooming parlour with a very friendly "club house" feel ...and now you can go paddle boarding from there! ...with your DOG! Its great fun and I highly recommend it. The coffee is also excellent.

Amazing customer service. The dog bed we ordered was delayed, but Philippa kept us up to date with what was happening the whole time. The dog bed arrived last week with some extra treats. Lovely company, awesome customer service. Thank you

Great service, the cool vests arrive in substantial box together with free dog treats, handwritten post card and beautifully wrapped. Excellent would highly recommend.
