Prebooking our rental cars (great inclusive rates) with DriveAway made for a hassle free pick up, with no extras to pay at the counter. This was re-affirmed for me on seeing other customers who had booked a "cheap deal" online ending up having to pay lots more and being extremely frustrated with that, not to mention it taking them way longer until they were ready to drive away.

Used Driveaway for my rental in Hawaii. Changed the car size the day before the hire with no issues and a great price. Very easy to deal with and will use these guys again. 5 star service from me.

I had
no problems dealing with this company over the phone to book a rental car inFrance from Australia.
The selected offer was from Avis. When the car was collected from Marseille it was still wet from a wash and far from pristine inside. I could not complajn because of ths free upgrade I was offered as a favour to include GPS. But as i found later the windscreen washer was empty.

I was told that one needs an international driving permit in France which I knew to be abundant caution/ counsel of perfection only.
What i was not told was that 98% of French petrol stations are automatic and unmanned and the machines do not accept most foreign credit cards including mine.

Made 2 bookings with them for a USA trip and very easy they even price matched another company for us .

I was really impressed with this service.
The Rental was really easy to book, and the fact that its pre-paid . .. one less thing to deal with, would use DriveAway again.

Staff were very patient in offering different options over a 3 day period in order to reach the best solution for our 6 week hire.
Rates were competitive with hire direct but simplicity of dealing with one operator was very convenient.

Company fine, but should check up on the car rental companies they sell! The electronic key didn't work and there was a slow puncture in the front tire.

Yes excellent service!! Can always find a car at a good rate even at last minute, and then offer much cheaper excess insurance. Thank-you, we always hire cars through DriveAway and will continue to do so.

Very happy with the DriveAway team and their service. Excellent to deal with over the phone. Knowledgeable, especially about hiring a car in Europe and how to avoid the typical pitfalls. Could not have been more helpful. Would highly recommend.

Questions answered promptly and with exact information,sales ladies seemed to be very well trained and understood there product.Pleasant change to be able to understand the person on the other end of the phone ,without trying to interrupt.We would use Driveaway as our first point of contact ,when we require to rent again.

Just booked a car for drop off at a different location which required a phone call to the reservation desk unfortunately. It would have been good to be able to book on line especially if we were travelling and it wasn’t easy to make a phone call. They provide a coupon to present when picking up the car. Since we have not picked up the car yet, I can only comment on the booking process. What is good about the website is you can get a price including the zero excess option. You also pay for the car up front in Australian dollars. So far it seems a good website.

We rented a 4WD in Costa Rica for 2 weeks and all dealings we had both with staff prior to departing on the trip, as well as with the local rental offices where we picked up and dropped off the car were easy and everyone was more than helpful. The car was in great condition despite the less than perfect road conditions in Costa Rica, everything worked perfectly and all dealings went smoothly.

Always great service . We book a our overseas car hire with driveway and should our plans change, they are happy to help us with no penalty.
We have never had to cancel or change , but it's nice to know there is peace of mind in the event it may happen at some time.

Booking agent service was superior to other car rental services

Have used DriveAway now for over 20 years and would certainly recommend them anywhere in the world.
Booking is easy and straight forward, staff are always helpful and very obliging. Only once during that time we have found a cheaper quote for similar vehicle and they matched the price without hesitation once we sent the "special offer" provided by another company.
We have always also had the highest recommendation of the companies they have sent us to.

We use driveaway holidays at least twice a year for our overseas holidays. Never had a problem. Excellent in every way
