I recently had surgery and everything went well and smooth. Kerem was very helpful and answered any questions I had. The process is very well organised and quite quick. Thorough pre-op tests done. Hotel after surgery was comfortable. Very happy with everything. Would highly recommend.

My initial contact was with Kerem, who was incredibly supportive and helpful throughout the entire process—from organizing the trip to flying back home. I had a great experience without any issues, Dr Dogan, Kareem and all the staff were amazing. So far i have not been able to fault them, Kareem my coordinator was great at keeping in contact all the time, Dr Dogan was a pleasure to have as my surgeon, checking up on me every day while in hospital. I would highly recommend Dr Dogan and his team.

My experience was awesome . From the day I spoke with kereem till the day I arrived in turkey and left even after has been awesome . Dr mahmut and his team were very helpful in every way possible . In a different country with no clue what to expect but the first point of contact is Kerem and he is able to make you feel so comfortable almost immediately. He is very warm, friendly, well organised and deserves all the respect and gratitude in the world! The driver who took us from airport to hotel back to hospital back to hotel was also so helpful, joyful and such a polite person. The nurses on level 4 became like my best friends they were so attentive and cared for me around the clock. I actually miss them to this day!
The team behind the scenes like Mary and Buse were also a lovely pleasure to deal with.

From start to finish Kerem our co-ordinator has been absolutely amazing. Answered any questions and concerns that we had and made the whole process so easy and smooth even after we got home. The nurses at the hospital on Level 2 🥺 just absolutely topped it off! Despite the English barrier, google translate really helped and the round the clock care and tentativeness from the nurses made recovery so comfortable and a breeze - These ladies are my real heroes! Thank you Kerem & the nurses on level 2 for an incredible experience!

Thank you to Dr Mahmut Dogan,Kerem my consultant,Buse my dietician & the surgery team & nurses & our drivers not to mention the hotel staff 🙏i am 10 days post op I flew to Turkey for the sleeve but because of my type2 diabetes & my sugar levels sky high i had the bypass done and have no regret in that decision.Kerem as soon as I inquired about having the sleeve you were so professional in giving every information of cost and details that I needed to know to make me want to go for it with this team.Kerem you kept me posted & updated as I waited for the day to travel I had my hubby supporting me he took great care of me and did everything that I asked with no hesitation.
The flights over with Emirates flying BNE - Dubai stop over than Dubai - Turkey was great cos there & back hubby & I had seats to ourselves where we could stretch out & sleep off & on with a little help with a sleeping pil lol.
Kerem you gave great directions & video clips where we had to go to meet our driver & take us to the hospital.
Driver was fast & cautious but hubby loved it flash transportation very polite.Kerem your instructions as what I needed to do upon arrival @ the hospital reception on point.Although language barrier was a little difficult but very fast admission than once I got to my room in the hospital it was blood test,iv drip istraight away & I had great nursing staff that took care of me for my stay there.
I only remembered going to have the endoscopy everything else was a bit blurry my hubby reminded me I think the jet lag kicked in and I was trying to catch up on sleep.I just know I felt no pain at all even as I write this.
But as soon as your able get up and walk cos it helps . The day after surgery I slept to much and I got told off cos my blood levels being so high I needed to walk every hour for 5-10 minutes but I was on the 4th floor so hubby & I did the stairs to the ground & back 3-4 x’s a day we only did the street incline once that was enough for me.
Buse is a lovely lady knows her job explained everything I needed to know with my care package that you get on discharge plus she is there to answer any questions you need to know .
Discharge was done so quickly we weren’t to far from the hotel the staff @ the hotel quick & efficient comfortable bed loved it best sleeps but lucky hubby was organised & downloaded movie for us to watch cos there tv in Turkey so we never turned it on .Hubby said he loved what he had for breakfast @ the hotel & he enjoyed his pizza that he did thru room service.
Kerem keeps you posted & sends a txt to remind when you checkout & what time you get picked up to take you to the airport.
Just a tip when you check in for your boarding pass go on line & ask for wheelchair assistance it is fantastic when your going home the only walking you do is on the plane to your seat you get through all the hassle & bustle of lines & the airport staff know there job your be kicking yourself if you don’t cos there’s so much walking & honestly if I didn’t have this I would of got lost in Istanbul & Dubai airport.

Great correspondence from kerem. He was efficient and responded to any queries in a timely manner. He ensured we were well informed about what to expect before our arrival. Transfer service was exceptional. Hotel had large rooms with a great big shower and had everything we needed. Dietician has been wonderful support. Nurses and support staff were of the highest quality. They ensured we were well looked after. Thank you dr dogan and team.

I had an amazing experience. Doctor dogan is unbelievably kind, as are all the staff. The surgery went well, and I was up and walking the next day. The nurses took such good care of me, even though when I came out of surgery and the anaesthetic wore I was acting like a mental case haha. I have regular contact with my dietitian who is absolutely lovely. She motivates me to carry on, and is always there when I have any stress or I feel like I'm failing. I've lost 6 stone in the 9 months since my surgery, and my life has completely changed. I can't recommend dr dogan enough. He saved my life and I consider the whole team as family!

My daughter and I flew from Sydney last week, we both had the gastric sleeve done. We both had the best experience. Dr Mahmut Dogan and his team were so helpful, friendly. Flew all the way from Sydney to Istanbul, Had an amazing experience with the whole team, from the surgeon, to the consultant, to the nurses! They all took so much care of us and continue to check in. Would definitely recommend.

I travelled to Dr Dogan from the UK to have a gastric sleeve carried out on the 27th of December 2024. From the moment that I walked out the airport I felt that I had made the right choice with Dr Dogan as my Surgeon.

From the onset of the booking process and my dealings with his patient co-ordinator Kerem I found the whole process well explained and handled very professionally.

On my arrival at Hospital I was welcomed by my nurses and shown to the room I was dealt with again professionally and with the up most care and dignity. The standard of the hospital experience in Turkey exceeded any experience in the UK with the nurses being attentive and professional. The porter at the hospital I was staying was a great guy as well and dispite our language Barrier he did everything possible to help.

On the day of the surgery I awoken early and the nurses took blood samples blood pressure sats and other tests as you would expect. Dr Dogan introduced himself and explained the process and what tests would be carried out. These included endoscopy (done under aesthetic) ultra sound an X ray very thorough.

When I awoke from the surgery again the nurses were attentive and professional in there approach.

I then met Dr Dogans dietician Jenny who is quite simply lovely and an absolute font of knowledge and support and she carefully explains what you need to do in a very deliberate and well thought out program and the ongoing support is nothing short of impressive whilst in Turkey and back home.

I'm just over 4 months on and have lost 60lb (27kg) in weight and I feel fantastic! Be under no illusions that electing to have Bariatric surgery is a big step !

If you have Dr Dogan and his team supporting and caring for your welfare, whilst in Istanbul and later on back home you will honestly not regret it they are amazing ... Thank you

Was very nervous to start this journey, you hear all the horror stories of overseas medical travel.
Well it couldn't have been any further from a horror story.
From the start, Kerem answered any of our questions, everything was organised and explained really well,we basically just had to turn up.
Our friendly driver picked us up straight from the airport, nice clean comfortable van, took us straight to the hospital.
There we were met by the wonderful Mary. As soon as we got out of the van she took us through every step, explaining everything very well. Nothing was too much for her. Even when I messaged later at night after surgery and needed help, she got the nurses and doctors to me straight away.
Met Dr Dogan, before my surgery, again everything explained clearly, lovely gentleman with brilliant bedside manner. Very reassuring, made the whole process very easy.
My recovery was excellent, moderate pain as expected, but once the nurses got me up and moving, I felt better each day. Just have to remember to walk,walk walk! And the breathing exercises help immensely.
The nurses and other support staff were lovely and helped whenever we asked for something, definitely have google translate ready, makes it alot easier for them as well.
Overall, would recommend Dr Dogan and his team for anyone looking at this process. It's intimidating being in another country, for a life changing operation, but the whole team made it so easy. Thankyou for my new step into a healthier happier life!

I had my surgery done 5 days ago and I’m back home in Australia now. I found these folks on Facebook and after following their group and getting patient reviews for a month and not reading anything negative. I was convinced that they were the company to go ahead with
I spoke to Kerem online and he was very attentive and informative and got my booking done and organised the procedure for me. From the initial consultation to 2 weeks later I was ready to go get it done in Istanbul. The trip was simple and found that the procedure was very straight forward and there wasn’t much pain to go with it. The dietician was involved and she’s got me ready for the next phase as to what and how I will be doing to give myself the best chance to obtain the result I’m after. They have a friendly supportive team who are eager to help and answer all your questions. I highly recommend this procedure in Turkey and would definitely recommend this group to have it done with based on my experience. Thank you so much Dr Dogan.

I decided to take my life and Dr Dogan and his amazing team helped me get there! Right from the get to my wonderful coordinator Kerem made sure everything ran smoothly! From making sure I had all my paperwork sorted and when my flight cancelled he was able to reschedule my hotel stay and surgery date and reassuring that all will be ready on our arrival and he did not disappoint! Kerem made sure we were well looked after right from the transfer to the hotel to the hospital right till the time I left! I can’t thank him enough! It was the moment of truth to have my surgery and every anxiety and nervousness I had went away when I met Dr Dogan! His mannerisms and professionalism put my mind at ease that I was in good hands and that I was! His amazing team made me feel so comfortable and before I knew it I was back in my hospital room waking up with the wonderful nurses to greet me and make sure I was ok!
