I booked Dtec (Darryl) to install a Viofo A329S 2 channel camera after I stupidly thought I could install it myself. Darryl was awesome! super professional, very knowledgable and he did a fantastic job installing the cameras, hiding all the wires and it looks super clean and slick. He also went over all the settings to ensure they were optimal for the setup and my car battery! I would highly recommend Dtec to do your dashcams! Thanks again!

Daryl installed Road Angel, front and rear facing camera. Was truly happy with the workmanship, clean and very professional. Very happy with his service and knowledge, and happy to recommend.

Darryl originally fitted my dashcam a few years ago and returned today to remove it as I'm changing cars. Absolutely first-rate service. The installation was excellent and he did a fantastic job of removing all traces of it being installed today. He also fitted dashcams for my parents and my sister and they have been really happy with them too.

Wanted a front/rear dash cam for my humble Fiesta as I had an accident without one. I bought a entry-level dash cam via an online auction site and needed a hardwire fit only. Websearched 'dashcam in my area' (Croydon) and booked/paid a mobile fitting via DTEC's extremely useable website.

Darryl contacted straightaway via WhatsApp, saying that a mobile fitting wasn't available but a workshop fitting was and offered to partially reimburse. So I booked the workshop fitting in Shadwell.

Between then I came across funds so I WhatsApped if the Nextbase 322GW would be available for the fitting. Darryl immediately replied that it wouldn't be but offered another which turned out to be the GKU D600 (excellent 4K budget one) as supply/fit for £200.

When I arrived at the workshop Darryl offered tea and biscuits and showed the D600 and explained what it will do. The whole job took just over an hour. Darryl explained further how to operate it, downloaded the app and setup the connection, showing the app's menu and functions. And the benefits of the 24/7 parking monitor and how to manage that. His work was neat and tidy. He also found the DAB aerial that the windscreen replacer had previously tucked away in the fixture and glued it on the windscreen where it should have been.

Another thing. My car had tree blossoms all over, looking like polka dots. Darryl asked the neighbouring unit to jet spray the car afterwards. And they did more than that - they did a full polish as well.

We had a superficial but good chat about what we do for our lives and I believe Darryl is on a path to great success.

I can't recommend DTEC (Darryl) enough. I followed and shared DTEC's site on Fbk. And I will share to anyone if required.

I went to Halfords to buy a dashcam and get it installed in my car all in one purchase, and they could not fit it in properly, claiming there was something wrong with my power supply connection. I looked up other dashcam installers on Google and came across D-Tec. I contacted D-Tec, the customer service advisor was polite, to the point, and very communicative, and straight away the technician Darryl knew what the issue was and how to resolve it. Booked an appointment, and within 2 days they took my car in. The installation lasted about an hour, and by then he had installed the dashcam perfectly and had it fully working as it should be. In addition to this, he completely fixed some very awful mistakes that Halfords had made, one of which was a serious safety hazard!! Great customer service and a superb installation job from Darryl, I highly recommend these D-Tec for dashcam installations to anyone because they are simply brilliant at what they do.

Darryl is excellent at what he does. He arrived on time, was very punctual, and completed the installation perfectly with all cables neatly hidden. The whole installation took only about an hour and a half. At the end, he also took the time to help me and explain everything in the app. Highly recommended.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE I WOULD BE BETTER OFF GOING TO AN OUTLET SUCH AS HALFORDS OR RAC FOR A DASHCAM INSTALLATION WHERE I CAN REST ASSURED THAT CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND GUARANTEE IS ON POINT AND ATLEAST IF THERE IS A FAULT WITH THE WIRING OR DEVICE THEY WILL BE ABLE TO ASSIST

Been meaning to write this for a while - genuinely fab service!! Met Darryl at his home in east London and he installed a 3 camera (front/rear/internal) dashcam for me in a 2005 Honda CRV. Did it super neat - took the trim off and tucked all cables behind it - literally no dangling cables, and did it properly around the drivers side airbags too.
Super neat, lovely chat too and great experience all round - couldn’t be happier.

Had a viofo A229 Plus front and rear fitted to my Porsche 911, installation was of great quality and done in good time too. Definitely recommend.

Darryl came out to fit in our front and back dash cam. He kept us informed about his exact time arrival. He is very professional and worked flat out for 2 hours. He even took time to explain the main features of the camera and took me through the app. 5 stars fully deserved.

Darryl installed my BMW ACE 3.1 front & back camera quicker than expected and was extremely professional, top job. They came out to West London which was extremely convenient instead of going to garages.

I found this company while searching on social media, and they are truly meticulous in their work, and I received answers to all my questions. Everything went exactly as I wanted, and they even came to my house. Since this was my first time having a camera installed in my car, I wanted to work with the best company, and I'm really very satisfied.
On the day of our appointment, Darryl arrived with great care and completed everything perfectly, then handed me my car. They are doing their jobs outside in this cold weather and they truly deserve a big thank you.

The engineer from DTec provided outstanding service during the installation of my front- and rear-facing BlackVue dashcam system. His knowledge and professionalism were evident throughout. The installation is flawless - both cameras are perfectly positioned, completely invisible to the driver with zero view obstruction, and all cabling is hidden. The connection to the fuse box was done expertly. The final result is like a work of art. This was a stellar experience, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend DTec to anyone requiring professional dashcam installation.
