We ordered a sofa and some chairs and the furniture is just great. Really good craftsmanship. During the manufacturing process we made some changes and always found a good solution. It takes a while to get the furniture, but with some passion you will get at the end excellent manufactured furniture. We had a very good and reliable email conversation with Jorja during the time and he was helpful in any way. For us it was the first experience with the company and we can highly recommend it. Trustworthy!

Saw this sofa at a local furniture spot – owner said it was made in China. Googled "Chinese-made sofas" and boom, that's how I found DWR Furniture. Their version actually blows the store model out of the water! Even crazier? With shipping costs added, it's still way cheaper than the store price. Like... how?!

DWR-Furniture.Never buy from this company. It took over a year to get my order and the quality was terrible. In order to get me to make the final payment, they sent me false and misleading photographs of high quality furniture and they sent me furniture of inferior quality some of which was different than what I ordered.

Last year placed a substantial order with DWR - Furniture (a Chinese company named Design Weekly Refresh ), including an EM dining table, eight Wishbone chairs, eight leather seat pads, a pair of Florence Knoll side tables, Eero Saarinen Tulip side tables, and a Florence Knoll bench. Unfortunately, my experience with this company was nothing short of a disaster, marked by significant delays, misrepresentations of product quality, and a complete lack of customer service.

The ordering process itself was a frustrating ordeal, taking several weeks of back-and-forth emails, often with more than a week's delay between responses. The total time from order placement to receiving the complete shipment was a staggering 15 months, with the first items arriving over a year after the order was placed.

I was repeatedly told that I would have to pay $259 in PORT fees. And that would probably be the total of the cost. My actual cost ended up being equivalent to 100% of the purchase price. If the company had refunded me 100% of what I paid them for the merchandise, I would still be out $2000 in PORT fees, inspection fees, tariffs, and warehousing cost.

The payment terms were 50% down upon order placement and 50% due when the order was ready for shipment. However, six months after placing the order, dwr - Furniture sent me pictures of what they claimed were my completed items and requested the final payment. After paying the remaining balance, it took them another *six months* to actually ship the first part of my order.

The quality of the furniture I received was shockingly poor and bore little resemblance to what I ordered or what was pictured on the website and in the pre-shipment photos. The EM dining table, which I expected to be made of oil-finished oak and light in color, arrived made of pine and painted a dark color. It was also damaged with 30-inch wide gouges. Furthermore, it wasn't even the same table pictured in the photos they sent me before I paid the final installment.

The Florence Knoll side tables were of extremely poor manufacturing quality, with visible welds, discoloration, and welding globs. The frames were scratched and dented, and the glass tops were a mere 1/8-inch thick, instead of the half-inch thick glass shown in the photo they sent and characteristic of the Florence Knoll design. The Eero Saarinen side tables, which should have been around 19 inches tall, were 27 inches tall. The Wishbone chairs were not standard size, much smaller than expected, and overpriced compared to similar chairs available elsewhere. The leather seat pads I ordered were actually made of vinyl (Naugahyde).

There were problems with other items, but for sake of time, I will skip those in this review

When I contacted dwr - Furniture to address these numerous issues and request replacements that matched my order and met acceptable quality standards, they completely ignored my concerns. Their only offer of compensation was a cloth table cover, a wholly inadequate response to the scale of the problems.

Recently, I sent the company a copy of this review and ask them to correct anything that was wrong. They did not offer any corrections. The CEO of the company sent me an email saying that they were wrong. He offered to make it good. Sent me a Venmo even payment that Net at $191. $191 did not cover the cost of the Florence no tables much less any of the other items that had poor quality. I’ve had to dispose of most of the furniture and have repairs done to the others items mentioned above.

Overall, my experience with dwr - Furniture (Design Weekly Review Furniture) was abysmal. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing furniture from this company to look elsewhere. Their deceptive practices, poor quality, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction make them a company to be avoided at all costs.

The company wrote a response that would lead you to believe they’ve corrected the problems. They’ve offered no additional compensation. I’m still out a lot of money. If They were so sincere they’d make that right by replacing the bad furniture or they would compensate me for my out of pocket costs.

UPDATE: Final delivery of $3600 US order from Design Weekly Refresh to Canada.
22 items, including a couch, numerous chairs, tables, stools, etc. Initial order was Sept 2023 with a promise of 2 week production turnaround time. Final order was shipped June 2024, more than 9 months later.

First, I would say do not order from this company as the communication is terrible, the delivery is terrible (and will likely cost you more than their initial shipping prices) and the final product may be hit and miss in terms of quality and even bait and switched items.

Tina is a terrible communicator as well as she is willing to lie about deliveries, lie about production milestones/deadlines, lie about items that they have in stock, provide photo proofs of items you've ordered, then ship other, inferior items (I had 3 items switched on me) - and finally lie about shipping/destinations, which can cost thousands more.

My items arrived in Canada on the West Coast, more than 6000km away from the final destination on the East Coast - I had supplied the exact destination address with the initial order and Tina confirmed that it would arrive at my nearest port, less than 100km away.
Because of the last minute switch of ports, I then had to arrange and additionally pay for transportation/delivery of the remaining distance to my home = $$$$$$$$$$$$.

I had not calculated these thousands in extra costs when deciding to purchase from Design Weekly Refresh - because their shipping was auto calculated by them upon initial order - only at the final stage after paying 80% of the order, did they switch my shipping destination, claiming it couldn't be shipped to my port.

I now realize they never had any intention of shipping to my port on the east coast when the west coast is so much nearer to China - another bait and switch.

There is a reason why Design Weekly Refresh isn't on social media, or Alibaba or AliExpress or Temo, or Ebay. Because they would be buried in neg reviews and customers would be monetarily protected from their malfeasance. Any trust pilot reviews that are positive seem to be written by fake reviewers as the wording is nearly identical in each. The negative reviews I believe are more trustworthy as they are all unique.

It's too bad, because some of their reproductions are excellent quality - and some are crap.
Would I purchase from them again - HELL NO

I've contacted Tina regarding the 3 bait-and-switched items and am waiting for a reply. I won't hold my breath.

We've just received the shipment, and these custom-made fabric sofas are just perfect for us. The colors and comfort are simply delighted, and we couldn’t be more pleased. Your excellent work is greatly appreciated!

First, the 'positive' reviews regarding this company are suspicious as they are all fairly identical.

Now on to this company, the communication with the single representative, Tina, is terrible. She may or may not reply to emails and will never pick up the phone. She will out right lie about questions asked and the status of your order. Expect changes to the pricing or shipping long after agreeing to the purchase. IF YOU CHOOSE TO TAKE A RISK WITH THEM, pay via VISA and be ready to have VISA charge back your amount.

We ordered several goods in May 2023, the communication was okay at first (Tina). Even though production took ages (much longer than promised). I paid the amount fully (around $3000), I transferred the second installment, when they sent pictures of some of the items with my name attached (like I requested). Since October I have not heard from them. Weird enough, they returned my second installment to my account and asked me to transfer it elsewhere (which I did). If this had been a scam all along, they would never have returned the money. Anyway, I am looking at a loss of around $3,000. So I advise against ordering from this company.

Quality of finishing is amazing.
The communication (or the lack of) and delayed timelines can make one feel very nervous so plan and assume for a delivery in 4 months from the day you order!

The promised delivery of my sofas and deds was spot on, and jason from the after-service team was incredibly helpful. I felt supported throughout, and the quality of the products speaks for itself.

Designs Weekly Refresh is my go-to for design needs. Their communication is stellar, and the quick delivery was a pleasant surprise. The customer service team ensured I had all the information for my purchase, making the entire process hassle-free. Highly impressed and definitely recommending!

It’s been 4 months. They have taken half my money and I just keep getting the run around and delays and future promises. I will change my review if I ever do receive my furniture!

WARNING FOR FRAUD!!! We ordered and paid for 8 dining chairs in early this year and they have still not been delivered. We have written to customer support multiple times, they reply after 2 weeks but still no order delivered. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

I have had a horrible experience with them!!I placed my order in May for only a small dining table and 2 small chairs. I paid them half of the price since I wasn’t sure they were legit and for 3 months Tina and Jason have just given me a turn around! They kept on promising g me pictures of my items that I still have not received! At this point I’m seriously considering giving up and loosing the money. Their communication is the worst I’ve ever seen from a company in my entire life! Stay away!!!

Working with dwr furniture has been a great experience. My sofas and beds arrived just as promised and the after service staff Jason was very helpful. They took the time to answer all my questions and I'm so pleased with my purchase.
