Having purchased two Estarli 20.8 e-bikes from e-venture after having numerous conversations with the staff at the shop (rather than buying online as we wanted advice),stating quite clearly that the bikes were to be placed on the cycle rack of our campervan and taken to the Outer Hebrides for a two month holiday, we purchased two bikes at £3500.
We eventually took delivery of the bikes a few days before we left, loaded them on the van and started our trip. First day was sunny and a good ride was had. Second day we took the ferry to Barra for a trip south to north on the Hebridean islands only to find, within one or two days after rainfall, many items (nuts and bolts, brakes, parts holding on pedals, rust in the frames,spokes on wheels,) on the bikes had become completely rusty.
As we were away for some time a call was made to Estarli about the rusty items who assured us they would replace all rusty parts, liaising with the shop for them to do the work. This did not happen and the shop were in fact unaware until we returned in early July and approached them. They advised the bikes had rusted due to salt water. We requested a full refund as we felt we had been mis-sold the bikes as they knew what we wanted them for.
We were advised now that the bikes should be covered on the campervan or kept indoors, not allowed to get wet, or if so, cleaned off and dried.. NONE of this information was given prior to purchase and we would not have bought the cycles had we been told, (our previous bikes which were used in the same circumstances for 5 years had no issues whatsoever). We again requested a full refund as we felt we had been mis-sold the bikes as they knew what we wanted them for.
After some to-ing and fro-ing the shop replaced some rusty parts and gave us the bikes back leaving many items still showing rust.. The shop were not prepared to listen to us as occasional cyclers (as are many motorhomers) and were not able to attempt to put themselves in our position although we were supposed accept their comments as very serious cyclists which seems very unfair in the circumstances.
We had only used the cycles for 40 miles or so and have not used them since whilst we try to solve the issue. We asked the shop if they would be prepared to consider arbitration which they have ignored and in fact have made no comments or contact with us for some months, they are merely ignoring us.
We are now nearly a year with two e-bikes sat in our garage and no further forward than on day one when purchased, i.e if we take them out and they get wet they will go rusty.
Please bear this in mind if you are intending to purchase this brand of cycle or using this shop to enhance your campervan holidays, it can cause many headaches!!

We were passing and asked on the off chance if they could fix our wheelchair as one of the brakes had broken. A young man came out and had a look, brought some tools out and fixed it in five minutes. We were really impressed with this service as it was something they would not normally do. Thank you to E Venture Bikes.

Ordered items, told one is out of stock & other would be sent. Emailed & phoned to find out nothing in stock and all refunded. Unable to reply to emails or give accurate info on phone.

I called to ask if I could have a repair to the derailleur of my Trek Powerfly. The mechanic said he'd be getting some parts in that day but to call back the next day to to confirm. I called back the next morning and he told me he had the parts. When I checked with him it seemed that he had the wrong parts. He seemed upset at me and accused me of giving him the wrong information on the parts even though I had only told him the name and year of the bike. He then rather rudely told me that he couldn't fix my bike and hung up. Trek retailers are usually really good in my experience but I'd probably avoid this one. I'll certainly be taking my business elsewhere.

Great service, friendly staff, good options for kit & rentals, and happened to be the only shop in the UK to stock the part I needed.

Excellent service. Fitted a dropper seat post and kick stand at short notice at a reasonable price. They certainly know their bike stuff. Highly recommend

We decided to hire a couple of bikes for a short morning ride out. What a helpful place! Sorting out in no time, gave us details of suitable routes to follow and very clear explanations on the bikes themselves.
Would not hesitate to anyone looking to explore the area.

Needed to keep my new ebike safe at home, only space available was in hallway, having looked at lots of different options, decided the clug was best for me, talk to e-venture bikes , gave great advice, highly recommended, great service

Confusion with the order as it was cancelled when I received the package there was only 1 battery where as it should of been 2 batteries in the set.

Ordered dynaplugs through click and collect. I live 4 miles from the shop and was planning to drive in to pick up the order however before I could the plugs where hand delivered!
