EA offers instructor training that caters to all different skill levels to perfect your riding whilst getting your instructor certification.
Within a week I have already improved my technique drastically.

A well organised and well programmed Ski school organiser. I was first sceptical at first but Ray was such a great communicator in showcasing me the details and rundown of the course where he was super helpful.

I did my instructor course in Queenstown, New Zealand where I gained so much new skills and experiences on the slopes and have felt I have improved a lot. With a season pass being able to ski both Coronet and Remarks was great perk, with pre booked busses not only my training days were sorted but my days off I was able to hit the slopes and enjoy some fun.

Within my instructor group I was trained by Tim Kafe, an ex Olympian Ski Racer, who not only trains us but trains Alice Robinson, 4th Women’s World Champion. Alongside the Ski Manger Alex Lange of NZSKI, so receiving high quality training from world class and well experienced ski instructors was a great thing to see. With great role models to teach you it helps you boost your confidence and build you into a better skier. The instructor course was tough, but good work in becoming an educator to outdoor sports, as a previous outdoor instructor , I have never received such great training from my coaches, I was given 1 to 1 feedback constantly, appraisals and also tips and tricks.

Accommodation could have been better but living close nit in a hostel again isn’t too bad for 5 weeks, I have met some really great friends and had a blast partying and training with people from all parts of the world, it’s definitely a thing you should keep an open mind about and understand that we are all in the same boat.

Overall I really enjoyed my experience and training as an instructor. EA were in constant contact with us, organising events and information and thanks to Julz being a great rep for Queenstown.

Had such a great time completing my level 1 and 2 ski instructors course in New Zealand. The course is very well ran by a great team.

EA helped me through the entire process, which for me was nearly 2 years long. Any questions I had they always answered them quickly and helped make a confusing process really simple. They created a great experience for me.

Well organised and planned. When dealt the hand of poor early season snow they adapted and did skiing at rusutsu and niseko was not open. EA make it easy to get into the ski industry and I would highly recommend them.

A great program to get your foot in the door in the snowsports industry. Learnt so much and met many cool individuals. Have had one hell of a season in Hakuba, come prepared and less broke than I did.

I paid this company 12,000 usd before Covid to go instruct in New Zealand in 2019 for the 2020 season which was cancelled due to Covid. After some back and forth they will not refund any money to me. Scam of company, waste all savings and won't get a dime back. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

This program has been nothing but disappointing. Essentially what you are paying money for, is to get a job. It costs thousands of dollars to get three weeks for initial training and orientation. Do not waste your money! If you are interested in becoming an instructor as a resort, contact the resort and apply directly. You will have more money in your pocket to start with and to pay for housing. That is another thing, the "employee" housing that is offered to the participants is awful and expensive. We had to pay $600 for a motel room where they provided one towel and one roll of toilet paper. No TV, and a very small microwave, refrigerator, but nowhere to store food or toiletries. The alternative was sharing a room with four other people and the beds being very close together. It smelled so bad, and was disgustingly dirty. The housing is almost impossible to afford. If you do not know anyone before you go, you are pretty much out of luck. It is at least $1500 a month for a studio apartment for one person. I Not knowing anyone prior to starting this program, it was not comfortable looking for a place to stay for months with unfamiliar people. The EA Ski and Snowboard program washes their hands of you the moment your three weeks are up. The staff are not responsive. I would never participate in this program again, and I offer this advice to anyone even considering this.

My experience participating in the EA program has been unforgettable. The program made it super easy for me to travel to New Zealand from overseas, and already had everything set up: accomodation, training, and even a guaranteed job offer. I have met the loveliest people and grown close with the others that are participating in the program, even being the only girl out of 8:). The ski training has been extremely valuable, and all of us have improved our skiing and teaching skills massively. Being involved in the mountain community and being welcomed as a new staff member, without having to apply for the job, has been insane and I feel very lucky to be a part of the Mount Ruapehu team! I have also made many contacts that have helped me secure a future instructor position on another mountain. The work experience, beautiful country, and guaranteed connection to lovely people has made the cost of the course worth it!

I did the EA level 1 and 2 program in NZ last year and it was amazing. The EA crew did everything they could to make sure our time in NZ will be the best they possibly could, the accommodation was really good, they made a lot of efforts to make us feel welcome and have fun and we had a lot of activities outside of training. Training wise, the course was amazing, we had small groups with the best instructors the mountain had to offer, and the program his built to make sure you'll pass your exam, it focuses on the riding skills and also the teaching and analyzing skills you need to pass the exams. I highly recommend to everyone that wants to pass the instructor exams or just have fun and get better in snowboarding on taking the EA program

They helped us all out with accommodation/visas/preparation before we arrived and im so grateful for the friends I have made. EA has been great setting me up for my first season, however it is possible and much less expensive to do it yourself.

Great place to start your ski or snowboard instructor career, without EA I would have had no idea where to even begin the process of becoming an instructor. A little bit on the pricey side but well worth it.

Japan 2022/2023 Season with EA.
First of all very well managed throughout.
Everything was planned and prepared in advance so it was very easy and stress free.
Travelling across the world can be daunting, especially when you may not know anyone there. However EA take this into consideration and have an amazing guide waiting at the airport to welcome you in open arms.

All accommodation during the training & Exam period was taken care of and so was transport.

Your EA rep's are available most of the time (depending on the time difference) for a chat via message or call to answer any questions/queries or worries.

EA also provide a great way into your first season by organising with your Employer. They will then leave you to enjoy your season and make many memories. However they are always around to help.

I have had a wonderful experience with EA. The program has allowed me to move across the world and become a ski instructor with a great support system. The friends I have met through the program are ones that I will keep for many more winter seasons to come and have been invaluable to making New Zealand feel like a new home.

I have to give a 4 star review because of the cost of the course. It is very expensive and becoming an instructor without it would be feasible and much less expensive. However, it is very nice to have everything organized and a guarantee of training, accommodation, community and a job. I moved very far from home so having this structure was very helpful for me.
I would think about wether you want to do more than 1 season before singing up for the EA course.
Overall, I have had a great experience and am loving life as a new ski instructor!

It was great to get us comfy with becoming an instructor but i believe that the course is too expensive and should cost a lot less.
