At ECOFUEL™, we specialise in better wood fuels for homes and professional kitchens across Ireland. For more than a decade, we’ve been supplying kiln-dried firewood, wood briquettes, lumpwood charcoal and professional pizza briquettes to customers who value performance, reliability and sustainability. For years, many households and businesses struggled with inconsistent firewood, damp logs, smoky fuels and unreliable deliveries. Fires that should bring warmth and comfort often became frustrating to manage. ECOFUEL™ began with a simple idea: wood fuel should just work properly. Our approach has always been simple: supply properly dried fuels that burn consistently and deliver them with service customers can depend on. From our CityBag® range for everyday home fires to SingleDeck® and DoubleDeck® crates of kiln-dried logs, and our Forno1889® pizza briquettes used by wood-fired pizzerias, every product we supply is designed to burn cleaner, hotter and more predictably. Our delivery service is part of that experience. Through our signature Final 40FT® delivery system, our team brings fuel directly to homes, sheds and kitchens across Ireland, helping customers store their fuel exactly where it’s needed. Every ECOFUEL™ product is sourced from 100% sustainably managed forests and verified by FSC® certification. As proud members of 1% for the Planet, we invest in reforestation and biodiversity projects because protecting the forests behind every fire is part of our responsibility. Many of our customers have been with us for years, trusting ECOFUEL™ to keep their fires burning season after season.

Dangerous briquettes for open fires
I think these briquettes are very dangerous, they expand whilst in the fire pushing out the whole grate, I have burnt 3 and all 3 did the same, these are very dangerous.

Hi Andrea,
Thanks for sharing this!
We’ve only just claimed our Trustpilot account, so we’re seeing your review for the first time. You’re right, EcoBriquettes are large and can expand to nearly twice their size as they burn. In small fireplaces, adding a whole briquette at once can cause it to press against the grate, which can be unsafe.
We always recommend breaking them before use in smaller fires to allow room for natural expansion. Your feedback is a good reminder for us to make this clearer to customers.

Very easy to order
Very easy to order. Delivery was so simple. The briquettes make such a lovely fire so easily with almost no ash. Brilliant. I will be buying these again.

Hi Pat,
We’ve only just claimed our Trustpilot account, so we’re a bit late in saying this, but thank you. Your words sum up exactly what we aim for: fuels that are easy to order, simple to use, and a joy to burn.
EcoBriquettes are designed to give that steady, clean heat with very little ash, so it’s great to hear they’ve done just that for you. We look forward to keeping your fires burning bright again soon.

Flawless service
I’ve used Ecofuel’s service several times now. Just taking a delivery early this morning. In my opinion, almost flawless, so friendly, great product. They said they would deliver 8am when I wasn’t home, with a relatively complicated list of instructions I’d left in terms of placement. 8am on the dot, delivered, perfectly, email confirmation. No hassle, no stress and super friendly when you call them. Highly recommend them.

Hitting 8 am on the dot with your instructions followed to the letter, that’s exactly the kind of service we want every customer to experience. Thanks for trusting us time and again, and for recommending ECOFUEL so warmly.

Great team, product and service.
I got times and dates wrong for a collection at the Dublin Warehouse, but Gennady couldn't have been more helpful or friendly, despite me cutting in on his busy delivery schedule.
