I have had a lack of communication from the case worker who does seem to change a lot. The correspondence between is silence. I honestly wouldn't recommend eCollect for this reason, i feel it is unprofessional and no working together.

The team was excellent to work with and highly responsive. We successfully resolved eight debt recovery cases smoothly and without any hassles.

After promising a swift solution, Chris Tzellios & his team put it in the too hard basket and reinforced to a long standing debtor of 2 years that they have more power to not pay than Chris & his entire team had to recover it. They failed to keep me informed, made excuses for not performing and had their knees trembling after the first phone call to this debtor. A Debt collection service that doesn't do debt collecting. Very disappointing result for me, just when l thought l finally found someone capable to do the job properly. 👎

George got the debt wrong and started against the wrong entity. Pointed it out and George has been silent since. Almost like he doesn't like to admit he made a mistake.
The in-house lawyers for eCollect have a bit of a chequered past including some trust account issues in 2021.

Given a debt that was years old, chased me, never available when called back, asked multiple times to provide proof and email as Paul Stath was never available on callbacks (4)

Ecolllect.com.au is an excellent company to engage if you have a debt that is required to be collected and could prove tricky to get. George in the Melbourne office was nothing but entirely professional to me at all times. Carefully explaining the process and how the fees etc worked. During the whole process he kept me informed up to date and was available at times most would not be. If for whatever reason he was not available, all calls or emails were answered very promptly. Whenever there were issues thrown up by the person we were collecting the debt from. All options were discussed and no matter the decision it was carried out with a professional determination to collect all monies owed in a timely manner. I actually thought that they would struggle with the collection as the person was notorious for their desire to evade the debt. In the end the full amount was collected and the fees taken were more than reasonable for the work and effort put in. George is a true professional and courteous person who exceeded expectations and achieved the outcome desired and charged exactly what was discussed. I would strongly recommend using ecollect.com.au if you have a difficult debt to collect. George certainly changed my view of the industry and how I thought I would be treated and charged. George and the team in the Melbourne office were truly amazing and attentive. Also they kept you regularly informed of how your case was progressing via email reports and the ability to log in and look at your account and actions taken to date and monies, if any collected. The transfer of the funds was also quick and painless. Ecollect transferred collected funds to me as and when they were deposited after clearing their account.
All I can say is if I require the services of a debt collector again I will certainly be using Ecollect and asking for George again.

This company keeps on harassing me by text stating that I have an outstanding account with a local company. I do not have any outstanding account with the company. Will be reporting them for harassment.
