I have never dealt with a company with so much distain and apathy towards their customers. I attended my graduation last week, which was in itself a very special occasion. As is customary with graduations, I also hired the ceremonial robe and hood to wear whilst accepting my degree. That part of the ceremony was relatively faultless. When I made the initial hire booking back in July, I was not able to add the sitting fee for photos to be taken, which wasn’t a problem because it could be done on the day. This was 20 pounds. After the graduation I receive a link to select my photos and purchase to put inside of them. On the day, I did purchase a photo taken of me whilst on stage with a frame for 35 pounds. But I thought it would be also fitting to purchase the photo of me taken before the ceremony with a ceremonial, scroll and hat. But it would seem this company had other ideas. As it turns out, not all frames include photos. This is despite the photo sold to me on the day, including a frame. And also, despite there being an area on the website to select photos for a purchase product, this product being in the frame I purchased. No photos appeared, which gave me a reason to believe there was a technical error. I contacted the company on a Friday and received a response on the Monday to say that my order had already been finalized and no amendments can be made. And that I would have to place a new order to receive the photos I want. While initially very inconvenient I thought fine. I can just order the photos by themselves. Again, this company had other ideas. After adding an essential photo pack to a new order a message on the website tells me that I need to add another approximate 40 pounds to continue with my purchase. So after paying the best part of 100 pounds for a photo frame that has been dispatched to me empty as well as a sitting fee, I still have no photo and to get a photo I would have to pay a further 40 pounds for a downloadable copy that I would then be able to print at my leisure. The whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth and I encourage anyone reading this who has a graduation coming up to please avoid giving this company any of your business beyond what you feel is necessary. I now faced the prospect of being out of pocket to the tune of 75 pounds for one downloadable JPEG that has been unedited taken prior to my graduation once the 15 pounds nonrefundable delivery fee for the empty frame that they dispatched to me is taken into consideration.

Great service from Ede and Ravenscroft. The online booking service was easy to use, which made organising that part of graduation stress free. On the day, the staff were very helpful with putting the gown and hat on correctly. Overall, I can't fault the service I received from Ede and Ravenscroft.

Staff and gowns were great. Little costly though. Biggest highlight was friendliness of staff.

Great service! As an academic at convocation or at graduation you would want to have an efficient and reliable person check that you are correctly gowned to be able to represent the University. Ede & Ravenscroft is absolutely doing this job and today our convocation went smoothly and very professionally also thanks to the help of their service - so we appreciate and thank them very much for this and looking forward to seeing them at the next academic event.

I visited their Cambridge branch today to purchase a dinner suit. I was assisted by Theresa who was absolutely amazing. The shop is set out beautifully and Theresa and her colleague were so welcoming and helpful. As I am not local and to save a return visit or posting the trousers Theresa made the alterations within about forty minutes whilst I went for a coffee. I was really impressed by the whole experience. Having purchased a suit previously from Ede and Ravenscroft in London I was already aware of the quality of the suits and expertise of their tailors and it is so handy to find a branch localish to me now that I no longer live in London.

Fabulous. reliable and friendly service - very happy with the experience. The only issue I had was with the drop-off as I wasn't able to locate the "bin" at College for returning the gown at the end of the day so had to find a College staff member who said she would sort this for me. But otherwise the service was exceptional and, most of all, very friendly.

Your staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, highly recommended and much appreciated.

The worst of them all. I had my graduation photo taken. A single digital image for £40 and after about 8 weeks, I received an unedited photo. Stating I need to pay to have it edited.

A photo I took with my iPhone looked professionally taken and edited than the rubbish I paid to have taken with this joke of a company

What a waste of my time. My advice, an on street photographer does a better job and delivers almost immediately compared to this group of ^professional photographer “

Very easy to book the graduation attire, very reactive support on the phone for any questions, and on D-Day, great staff, very nice and welcoming. They truly contributed to the unforgettable experience of the graduation ceremony.

The staff were brilliant in making sure that I looked good for the ceremony. Even going as far as changing my hat and including pins to make sure it stayed on. Very friendly service and the gown itself was beautiful (of great quality).

I was impressed with the service. The gown is very pretty. The staff are friendly and very fast. I couldn’t ask for more.
