Very effective trading journal software to track my trading performance and allow me to see my issues. I have my breakthrough from trading with edgewonk. must have!

I’ve been using Edgewonk as my main journaling platform since January 2025 and to this day I haven’t seen any other platform that comes close in terms of its value for money.

Being a vet process orientated traders the best features on Edgewonk for me have been the custom statistics and the new Edge finder feature that will analyze my trades and pint points what my best setups are and what part of my game needs working.

I was a professional poker player for 7 years and now have been trading full time for the last 8. You literally can not survive online poker without keeping data and stats on everything you do and working every single day to analyze your performance and finding your leaks. Trading is no different. I think this is one of the best tools out there and it's incredible undervalued. So many traders our out there clicking buttons blindfolded. Since using Edgewonk I got a much better picture of what I am doing (wrong) and where I should put my focus.

Over the years I´ve tried several trading journals and Edgewonk is far the best. It really helps you grow as a trader and find your problem areas. Once I had a question and got my response quickly. If I could do something differently, I would wish for I found it earlier.

Have been using Edgewonk 6 months now and I have to say it’s one of those things you wish you had way sooner! Every serious trader should have this tool and to be honest with how cheap it is, it feels like we’re robbing them compared to other journals and what they offer. It’s a no brainer. Super quick to respond and always open to new ideas and feedback which they actually act upon.

Best trading journal. Been using it for almost a month. I like the chartbook where I can review charts and filter through the setups that I took to find similar confluences and patterns.

This is the best thing since sliced bread. Edgewonk is incredibly useful, saves tons of time and provides insights that not even the most complex spreadsheet could ever do. Like other people said, their customer service is outstanding too.

Edgewonk is an excellent online trading journal. It has a range of features that support my development as trader. As well as offering features that allow me to analyse specific aspects of my trades such as best performing setups, entry and exit strategies. It also allows me to create customised statistics which allow me to dive deeper into my data, perform in-depth evaluations and obtain detailed, objective understanding of my performance. Furthermore their Customer Service is unrivalled. No lengthy wait for answers to questions. Cornelius, Sandra and the team are excellent and always respond quickly. I have been a subscriber for years and have no intention of switching. They are constantly improving the service by rolling out upgrades and introducing additional features which demonstrates their commitment to creating the best online journal software on the market. Years ago I had a subscription with Tradervue which is good but in my humble opinion Edgewonk is significantly superior. Software and Customer Service is absolutely superb- could not be more satisfied.

I have recently joined Edgewonk and it has helped me become more disciplined in my entries. It's also giving me feedback on my trade management that I look forward to implementing. Overall, I'm still getting accustomed to it and the experience is great.
The cherry on top is that customer service is there to help you with the app.

I have been paying for a subscription to THE WONK, for two years and never really used it the first year, but when I started learning how to use it, I realized trading without a journal like Edgewonk is like being in a gun fight blind folded. When I consistently use Edgewonk I am consistently profitable, when I don't use it, I consistently lose. The architecture of the software and The Custom Statistics feature, forces you to think, and think about only trading A+ set-ups.
I've tried other journals from Trader Sync, to TRADEZELLA, to TRADERVUE, etc. Compared to THE WONK, they are just notebook calendars, dashboards, and backtesters with pretty graphics. THE WONK is made by traders, for traders who want to become the best traders. Not to mention the technical support, despite being in Germany, is as swift as a New York minute. Learn to use Edgewonk, and give your self a chance to succeed at being a trader.

It seemed like a good journal, but to subscribe you have to subscribe for an entire year. I sent an email to them around the middle of December about uploading when a trade is open and if I tried to update it after it closed, then it would not work and I would have to delete the trade and start over. I received an answer, but then responded to their answer and never heard back from them. I do like some things on their site, but there are a few problems. One problem is when I upload trades my winning days show up as red and losing days show up as green. I believe I emailed them again last week, not sure which day, but also may have been the week before that and I have not heard back from them. I would not spend the money here especially since you have to pay for the entire year.

Edgewonk was created by traders for trades and it shows! Edgewonk is an incredible platform that has been crucial to my trading progress. I am able to track my trades and identify mistakes/bad habits at a glance. Trading is very similar to performance sport and you can't improve anything you don't measure. The performance metrics on Edgewonk are top notch and simply a game changer. Sandra is the head of support and she is always quick and resourceful whenever I am in need of troubleshooting or guidance.

I have tested several Trading Journaling Apps but Edgewonk for me is definitely the best. Intuitive interface, very well designed, full of features for those who want to customise their journal. Before using it I didn't even realise how many trades I took in a day. Now I have the possibility to objectively examine my mistakes and it is from the mistakes that I have the possibility to improve. The support deserves top marks: very prompt in replying, always polite, and above all, they are able to solve any problem. I, for example, was making a mistake (my fault) with the MT5 connection and in just one email I got the advice that allowed me to connect everything perfectly. This very function, the one that imports trades directly from the platform, saves a lot of time and makes everything extremely fast and pleasant. I highly recommend Edgewonk!
