Terrible Customer Service
This is the 3rd phone call I've made trying to chase and resolve an ongoing Council Tax issue.
I am given promises of call backs but have never received them.
Whilst the previous calls still haven't rectified the situation the staff member has been at least understanding.
I have however just spoken to someone named Donald Johnson and his manner was shocking. He would not let me speak and actually said "It doesn't matter what you say...you're wrong"
I am have now completed another complaint form and am waiting for a reply

Extremely disappointed with Edinburgh…
Extremely disappointed with Edinburgh city council service. Back and forth careless conversation,complaint process takes very long. 26th of April lodged complaint 11th of June I was promised in couple of weeks will be sorted month after no solution. Very disappointing. Very slow and not responsive and at the end of the day still waiting them to do their job.

Edinburgh Council seem to be doing their best to make people fly tip?
I went to the expense of hiring a van from 10.30 to 12.30 to dispose of old living room furniture and 15 bags of stone garden rubble.
Went on to Edinburgh council recycling centre bookings for Seafield , I couldn’t believe it, all the times for using a hired van were from 08.00 to 09.30, no other times available, checked through times for Sighthill recycling centre that’s worse it was 08.00 or 09.00 no other times available.
Edinburgh Council, you should be ashamed, no wonder our beautiful city and surrounding areas are looking like fly tip dumping sites

Just useless
Edinburgh Council covers up on behalf of corrupt employees who apparently don’t have to follow the same rules as everyone else. Additionally, they cause negligence by not securing black dumpster bins on windy days on multiple occasions (they should really do it anyways) and since have refused to take any action to rectify the damage caused. So feels great to know where everyone’s money is going. Also the roads are a joke seriously.

General experience is dreadful
General experience is dreadful, charge a fortune in council tax and get sod all back in return. We dont need the 20 mph limits as the roads are so full of pot holes its just about impossible to go that fast anyway. Blocked drains as they never get routinely cleaned out, New Street lighting at night is terrible. Street warning signs so dirty they do not reflect. Worn out road markings Charges for services which should be covered by council tax
