Check your delivery. Send a clearly damaged product but they're not interested as it's beyond their Ts and Cs.

I now see why they're a sub 3/5 company

Product good, service terrible

Ordered 2 cheap plastic light switch accessories, total a little under £8. Only one delivery option, Parcelforce, which doubled the total price. Ho hum.

Order shipped promptly and received txt from Parcelforce but returned home to find card through letterbox - since I'd been unable to take delivery in person, Parcelforce had taken my package to a post office in nearest town. 50 minutes round trip.

Electricpoint office closed at 5pm so sent email to query why signature required & whether redelivery possible. Received auto email to advise I should get a reply on next business day. No reply received on next business day. Travelled into town to collect in person. Postmaster told me that Parcelforce policy is to require signature on delivery, 'unlike Evri/DHL who'll leave on your doorstep'.

£7 delivery charge and mandatory signatures with no redelivery option seemed like overkill for such a small purchase. Found the whole experience a bit second rate vs Amazon, Evri, DHL etc. Wish I'd read the reviews.

Great experience of using Electropoint. Highly recommend them .Gerry made the process so easy from start to finish Fitted within just over 2 weeks from enquiry.
Darren completed install within 2 hrs and left no.mess!!

How I wish I had read these reviews…

How I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing from Electricpoint.
I purchased Dimplex wall panel heaters which were delivered in the evening with 1x badly damaged. I called and informed Electricpoint the next morning and followed up by email with images within a couple of hours. 24 hours later Electricpoint are telling me they are trying to work out something with Dimplex. What they should have done is immediately send out a replacement; I now have a part finished project and a very unhappy client.

Absolute nightmare

Absolute nightmare from start to finish, placed a £980 order for a car charger instal, most of the order was not in stock , only told after placing the order, after a couple of weeks all the parts arrived, except they shipped a different spec cable, emails ignored, fortunately we paid with PayPal and after a month sending evidence to PayPal we paid to ship the cable back and finally got a refund. If you have to use them make sure you have some form of financial protection like PayPal

Not using them anymore

ElectricPoint were my go-to online distributors for my stock for a number of years. They are usually competitively priced and efficient with dispatch and delivery. I buy a number of EV charge points from them. I called up a few weeks ago to enquire about redeeming a discount I had received directly from a manufacturer. I spoke to a gentlemen on the phone who immediately told me he couldn't be bothered to deal with the extra work of applying the discount code to my order and abruptly ended the conversation. This left a really bad impression with me and as a result I have decided to forego using Electricpoint as my online wholesaler altogether. I've not bought from them since. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere, even if it's more costly, so that I get better customer service.

No hassle experience

I must admit I ordered the item based on the reputation of Dimplex. If I'd read the Trustpilot reviews before I ordered the first heater, I probably would have gone elsewhere. As it turns out, I have only good things to say about my experience with Electricpoint. I've now ordered and received 3 x Dimplex PLX075E heaters on time and in good order. No fuss and no hassle. I'd recommend using them based on my personal experience.

Terrible customer service!

Wish I’d read the reviews prior to ordering, shocking company to deal with and would advise to steer well clear! Asked for advice on a product prior to ordering, was given false information that the product would work the same as the existing item I had. On installation it became clear that it was not the same item at all and required additional electrical work rather than a simple swap. On contacting the company, the person I spoke to, Peter, was rude, arrogant and patronising and extremely unhelpful. One of the worst experiences of customer service I have ever encountered.

Would recommend, delivered as expected

Bought an humistat extractor fan... Product is as described and delivery was spot on, with update ahead dispatch and update from courier when en route.

I read some of the reviews before and was perhaps a little wary, but this proved to a concern I didnt need. Would recommend

Shocking company

Shocking company, delivery 1 to 2 days! Not a chance, after two days, they hadn’t even took it off the shelf. Call up, ‘Shall we cancel then’ oh yeah ok, I didn’t want it any way!!!! What is the point in promising two days if you don’t go out it. Terrible customer service. Terrible company. DO NOT USE THEM.

Common sense and pragmatism

Initially the company sent through the incorrect lights but via email communication and common sense approach Electricpoint sorted out the problem in a pragmatic and efficient way - it took some of the stress away when I needed it to. I would use again.
