Below average

Below average. The house was ok, had four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Appliances were dated, and the toaster did not work. Biggest problem we had was the A/C, it was locked so could not go below 72. We are used to sleeping cooler, and made it very uncomfortable. The house had not very clean, found an old chicken strip under on of the beds. Around 8-10 miles to make Disney, with traffic it would make the trip in 30 minutes.

It was a very beautiful house but the…

It was a very beautiful house but the dryer took very very long to dry any of our clothes and towels. Leaving them to smell moldy. Also the pool needed cleaned more often then. We were here 2 weeks and only seen one person clean the pool. But the biggest thing was the front door. It wasnt very safe. You could literally lean on the door and it would open. Even if locked.

Elite staff great... House needs improvement.

Elite Vacation and it's customer service did awesome.... House on the other hand needs improvement.

New mattress (mattress are all in bad shape.)
Modern technology (TV, kitchen appliances etc.)
Pool needs to be maintain better.
Shouldn't have to pay extra to Heat the pool.
House has too many rules!!!

Other than that, lovely place, nice area and very close to stores and Disney Parks.

We do not charge for pool heating unless it is requested. This helps us keep our prices low and pass along the saving to our guests. We apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience this caused.
We want to make sure every guest has a perfect stay and is fully aware of our policies. We regret you found them to be excessive. Please know we are working toward a more welcoming way to present the rules in the future and apologize for the annoyance.
Swimming pools are routinely maintained once per week. However, our maintenance staff is happy to address any concerns between those scheduled services. We wish we had the opportunity to help with this while you were staying with us and apologize for the inconvenience.

Best vacation EVER!!!!

It was amazing to work with Elite Vacation Homes for our Disney vacation. The home was clean and the check=in instructions were clear and easy to understand. The home we stayed in was modern and absolutely beautiful. The staff of Elite Vacation Homes did exactly what they promised they would do and exceeded our expectations.

Our home was located close to Disney, less than a 15 minute drive. The private pool exceeded our expectations and the home possessed the basic appliances one would need to enjoy a vacation. We loved it so much, we are already planning to work with Elite Vacation Homes again for our next family vacation!

Fair warning

Fair warning! Spend the first 24 hours of your family trip documenting EVERYTHING the house has wrong with it! I know you have probably been saving and working hard to relax and enjoy your vacation but I’m serious! You will be charged extra fees upon departure for damage you didn’t do!
The staff at Elite are unable to document and keep an inventory of damages, so even that stain on the carpet that looks older than your Grandfather will be charged to you.

family Vacation

We were quite pleased with our stay at an Elite Vacation Home. Emerald Island is a very safe and well cared for Resort. The house we stayed in could use a little TLC like painting and carpet cleaning but other than that it was great and served our needs. We paid for pool heat and it really didn't warm up until on the 4th day. Quality dishes, glasses, pots and pans and everything we needed in the kitchen for meal preparation. The bedding and towels were decent quality too. Overall experience was good. Easily accommodated our group of 12.

RUN!! Horrible business!!

The office said we broke things that we didnt and sent pictures of very ticky tack stuff that nobody ever would have reported on arrival!! I was charged for that damage! RUN AWAY from this company!! Bad business!!

Elite staff were very helpful

Elite staff were very helpful with any problem we had. However, the house could use a good going over. Dishwasher wasn’t working, umbrella on outside table was dirty, vertical blinds in family room were broken. Hot water hard to get to shower. Owner needs to repair these things before renting again.

Exactly what I expected!

I was very happy with the ease of booking. The house was exactly what I expected and I was very happy to have booked the early check in after our long day of travel. The staff Elite Vacation Homes was helpful and answered all my questions and even helped reassure me when I was skeptical after our first vacation home (VRBO) fell through. The company came right out and fixed a few small issues we found with the home within the first 24hours of arrival. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to rent a home. If a renter wants a heated pool, they should make sure the heat works before the renter gets there. Not the renter calling and the heat is not fixed for 5 days!
