The Support is horrible, Things that don't work get promoted! DO NOT BUY A SERVER

The Support is horrible! I created a ticket and it said I have to wait for 12 hours. Three days later I have still not recived an answer. On top of that all elixirnode servers shut down for 5 hours and on there Discord (there main way of communicating) we had no updates until it was fixed. I had no access to the game panel or the server itself. Also they promote a free deticated ip on there Website if you buy 8gb. I didn't recived one so I asked the support witch told me they are currently not avalibly. So they basicly promoted something that don't work and by that they tricked me into buying 8gb instead of 5.

Horrible Support and Service

At first I thought this was a good host, oh my god was I wrong, this host is the worst host you could ever pick. I had issues with the bedrock port which wasn’t even MY issues it was an issue on their end and I waited 2 weeks and they still couldn’t fix it, I’m asking for a refund right now and I guess they just don’t care, just please for the love of god DO NOT USE THIS HOST. They are so many better alternatives

Had support person, Eshan, Respond to my ticket very quickly, and was able to resolve my issues. Very supportive, and recommend him to others.

Terrible support!!

Terrible support!!! They say they take 12 hours to answer tickets but no they don't answer at all. Their Discord server is also terrible because I can't even get help there by the community without getting punished. (yes I read the rules)

The support has improved a lot…

The support has improved a lot recently, it's been excellent. The server is also ways 24/7 uptime for the past few months that I've been using it so far on my bedrock server! Just wanted to share my experience.

I'm glad I did not listen to the spam…

I'm glad I did not listen to the spam reviews, I saw on their discord updates that these were fake made by a fired staff member. Everything went well with my MC server, I have been using them for few months now and support can take around 12 hours usually but otherwise its a fast and very reliable service for our community.

Just use another service

So for transparency: MOST of the time, their servers were good and prices were good. But I'm going to talk about 2 majorly bad experiences I had with Elixrnode.
I had been a customer for quite a while, I didn't really need much support (which Is good because their support is slower than molassss) but the first major issue I had with them was that a Rouge staff member literally deleted all my server files. Just reset the whole thing. That's whatever that can be chalked up to a grumpy ex employee although he did leave behind his manifesto of why he quit the company and discussed how the company was corrupt. I wish I still had the file. Regardless a long time passed with no more issues. Until earlier this year. Had recently gotten a server back up and running, and then elixrnode did some maintenance. Idk what happened during this maintenance but they corrupted something bad. Everybody's servers were down and it took 2 weeks to get the servers back up. Hey mistakes happen. That's one thing. But what really made this a horrible experience is that there was no support for this 2 week period. Not only did nobody respond to tickets, but elixrnode SHUT DOWN THE ABILITY TO SPEAK IN THEIR DISCORD think about that. They refused to speak with their customers while this problem persisted for 2 weeks. If you gonna on their discird now, you still can't speak unless if you are a server booster. Someone said "pay to talk" but no it's worse than that. Even their customers who already pay them can't talk. When we finally were able to squeeze an answer out of someone, it wasn't even elixrnode themselves. It was a contractor.
I ended up getting a backup of my server after 2 weeks of downtime and just took that data to a different host.

With all this in mind i asked for a refund for the hundreds I had in credit on their website (because I overpayed them every month i had extra credits) amd they refused that.

Just use a different host. Save yourself the headache.

Long story short. Use a different host. With Elixrnode it's not a matter of WHEN you will run into a major server breaking issue but rather When.

Edit: ive also seen that they have said that many if their negative reviews are fake created by an ex employee. Im here to tell you they are lying about this. Many of their negative reviews started coming in around the time that half their servers went down for weeks and clients were left with no support or answers for weeks. (Myself included) i am not a grumpy ex staff member, but can provide proof of the fact that i was a customer. (Oh there used to be a lot more one star reviews but it seems that Elixrnode has tried to get these all taken down by flagging them.

Awful support and slow response times, okay server performance but wouldn't recommend..

The server itself works fine. But there are some lag issues which is to be expected on a modded server on their "bargain"/low end plan but you get your money's worth AS LONG AS YOU DON'T EXPECT ANY HALF DECENT SUPPORT.

I had a server with them in December 2021 and I didn't pay/renew it. One day after the due date, the server was suspended (for example, if payment was due on December 14th 2021 for a Minecraft server, on December 15th 2021 the server would be suspended and I could not play on it if I did not renew/pay the server fee) yet they continued attempting to charge my [prepaid] card every single day.

I ended up setting a filter to block any emails from them regarding declined payments and forgot about it. Fast forward to now - I bought another Minecraft server but I used my personal debit card rather than a prepaid one and I was charged almost $5 (was charged on 11/04/202) for the server that was cancelled LAST YEAR (11 months ago - almost 12 months at the time of writing). That server was terminated and all associated files was removed, meaning that I could not use it AND my old server (even without any files on it) was not given back (not that I wanted another server in the first place). Why was I charged for a service that I was never given? I tried to remove my debit card from their system to avoid this happening again but was not able to remove it even after adding a different card to pay for my servers? I've created a ticket on this but have not heard back as of writing this review.

I asked for a refund and have not heard from them yet since, although it should be noted that it has barely even 24 hours since I've submitted the ticket for the refund.. When I mentioned about them charging me every single day for a terminated service in their general chat on their Discord server so that other potential and/or current customers would know these "business practices" (I use this term very loosely), the owner almost immediately deleted said messages and said that what I had just said should've gone in the tickets I created although it was irrelevant to me actually getting support from them and was simply an experience I had with them.

When trying to "defend" myself (I also use this term loosely), the message was also deleted almost instantly and I was told to essentially keep it to the tickets or get punished according to the rules (which was a week mute and then a permanent ban if a repeat offense - and this is my interpretation of it and I believe that punishment was indirectly implied). Why are you punishing your customers simply for sharing their experiences on your public chat? This is simply just atrocious.

My server also came with a dedicated IP (Minecraft server IP with port 25565) and when I created a ticket 4 days ago to claim it, I was told instructions on how to claim web hosting (which was also included in my package but was not what I requested for in my ticket). I had replied to them clarifying what I had asked for a day after receiving their response but did not hear back from them (this was on their client panel). I had to join their discord server to get any information about it whatsoever and was told it would be processed by their system administrator at midnight today at the latest (as of writing this review). So far it's almost 5 days without receiving their advertised "addons" but I'm confident I will get them since they usually have a reputation for bad customer support, not scamming customers.

Also, it seems a very limited number of people have access to actually process anything billing/server wise (such as my pending refund or adding my dedicated port) with most of their volunteer customer support just being able to guide customers on how to do certain things (like change a server version for a Minecraft server) but I cannot comment on this for sure and this is based on what I have seen from looking at their public chat (Bit unrelated but this could be because one of their staff members went rogue and started messing with client servers but again, cannot comment on this for sure).

I would cancel my servers immediately and cut my losses but I paid for 3 months in advance unaware of how awful their customer support is, so I'm stuck with them till January.

Overall, I really wouldn't recommend this host to anyone because of their slow customer support (and when they do respond, most of the time isn't helpful), bad "business practices" (again, I use this term loosely) and the server performance isn't that great. Stick to some other host that actually has better customer support, even if they are a bit more expensive.

ElixerNode was AWESOME

They were so nice and kind!
They answered fast, and they solved every problem I had in elixernode! I highly recommend using ElixerNode, it is cheap, fast, secured, and staffs are all kind!

Honestly one of the cheapest and stable…

Honestly one of the cheapest and stable server hosting out there, the staff are very kind and helpfull as well. Sistemas helps out alot with server related issues as well, they even make an exception to some of their services that are supposed to be paid.

Great Service and Great Price

I don't know how this service isn't more popular. The prices are the most affordable I've seen and it runs a lot better than some of the other hosting services. I use this for my Minecraft server and I have yet to have any major issues or frustrations. If something wasn't working, I reached out to their support and they helped me fix my issues quickly and easily. I would highly recommend this service if you plan to use it for a Minecraft server.
