Awful Experience
Finally I received a refund - thanks to Pia.
However my overall experience of using this company has been terrible. I have had to chase them to return my money for months and months. It is very difficult to actually speak to someone on the telephone and resolve any issues. After months of chasing for my flight money to be returned emailflights had the audacity to deduct an 'admin fee' of £75!!! For what I'm not sure and this is probably not even legal?!
I don't like to be negative about any person who works for this business but communication from the company is very poor and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
The Worst Company EVER!!!!!
On the 16th January 2020, I and my friend paid £1241.80 to "EmailFlights.com" for the booking of flights scheduled in August 2020 to Bali. This was supposed to be our trip of a lifetime but instead of getting a refund and rebooking it has been a real-life nightmare of us chasing for the money that LEGALLY should have been paid back to us months ago.
These flights were altered by the airline due to the coronavirus pandemic, and I was offered several options for compensation via email on the 19th June 2020. On the 30th June 2020, we asked to pursue a full refund (albeit with administrative fees deducted) and returned a fully signed refund form, on the 24th July 2020.
Receipt of this was acknowledged by email flights on the 7th August 2020 (after the flights had been originally scheduled to take place!) pledging that the money would be refunded at a total of £514.40 for myself and a travel companion, totalling 1028.80.00, to be paid into the bank account from which the funds were originally drawn, between twelve and fourteen weeks after this email (again, dated 7th August 2020). This deadline passed on the 14th of November. It is now the 14th of December 2020, and no refund has been received. A FULL MONTH. Plus we now understand that airline did payout but EMAIL FLIGHTS are holding onto our money.
We have attempted to call the office numerous times, and was put on hold for 42 minutes on one occasion with no luck! Plus numerous emails with no reply.
Not only has the customer service been appalling, but the delay on the processing of these refunds is reprehensible and ignores the basic rights of your customers. Nearly coming up to the one year mark of booking our flights with them and it's been nothing but an absolute mess completely due Email Flights!!!

Left us stranded abroad without a refund.
Emailflights left us stranded in Mauritius, they did not offer, or even try, to repatriate us to bring us back home to the UK, nor did they offer us a refund for our return flight which was cancelled due to Coronavirus. They left us completely stranded. We asked for alternative flights or a refund but they never replied to any of our several emails or many calls. This company are cheats, they do not look after their customers, and I look forward to going through the ombudsman to recover my funds.
AVOID, AVOID, AVOID
Because of covid I had to reschedule flights I booked with them. They ignored emails and misrepresented the policies of the airline. I had to screenshot the airline website offer to make free of charge changes for them to come clean. Unresponsive, unhelpful when they do respond and not acting in the best interests of their paying clients. Never again.
I need my refund!
my flight to Osaka which was supposed to be in Aug 2020 was cancelled and EmailFlights said they would refund me after deducting £75 admin fee. Fine, submitted my refund form on 17 Aug 2020 and I was advised that my refund would be processed within 12-14 weeks. 14 weeks have passed, no news on my refund status. Even tried to dispute using my debit card provider, not successful since 'I was given an alternative'. What alternative when I didnt get anything at all?!!! please someone contact me on my refund status!

Took me 10 months to get a refund on a cancelled flight - after hundreds (no exaggeration) of emails sent chasing them up.
People I was dealing with over email could hardly speak English and seemed to have no idea what was going on with my claim so each time I had to re-explain the situation - massive hassle and complete waste of my time.
Go through a reputable company and save yourself!

Booked a return trip to Sydney via Hong Kong at the start of March. COVID-19 completely scuppered these plans and have gone back and forth with Email flights regarding a refund which eventually they were going to give minus a £75.00 admin fee. This was agreed on the 17th June with a 14 week timeframe, 21 weeks have passed and I was assured the the refund was going to be in my account by Friday 6th November, guess what no money has been placed into my account. All the poor reviews given are the exact same experience that I have received. This company have been inept and incompetent at every single stage. Any attempts at communication are hit and miss with poor communication if you can speak to someone. Email flights if you wish to contact me directly I am more than happy for you to do so, all I want is my refund and a written apology would also be a good start.

Do not book with this company - booked flight tickets which were subsequently cancelled due to COVID. After weeks of chasing and being promised a refund, they didn’t pay out a single penny. Initial delay tactic was to issue a refund form and promise a refund within 14 weeks but don’t fall for this scam as this company will never pay out.
My bank refunded me but now email flights have decided to try and pursue ME for amounts THEY owe ME and never paid - this is obviously disputed and a spurious pursuit by EmailFlights. If you are successful in obtaining a refund, do not give in to their heavy handed tactics

I have re-wrote this review to reflect the updates that have occurred since posting it.
I learned that my Flight from Dubai to Manchester was cancelled by Turkish Airlines in Mid March, I had to inform EmailFlights of this as they were not aware. I have been requesting a refund ever since March 17th before Turkish Airlines changes their refund policy and at first I was offered a refund minus the £75 admin fee per ticket which I reluctantly accepted however it appears the Company changed its mind and decided to offer me a voucher/credit note instead even that had restrictions placed on it for when it could be redeemed - Told them back then that COVID-19 was sticking around and I wanted a Cash Refund not a credit so I could travel when the conditions were right - 2nd Lockdown and Travel is banned so the voucher/credit note they offered would have been useless to say the least.
After Posting the above I was contacted by Manish from EmailFlights who has since arranged for the refund to proceed.
I have been refunded today (11/11/2020) exactly 239 days after my first interaction.
Had it not been for Manish I would still be waiting for a refund, I can only thank him for moving things along quicker.
Having said that it should never have gotten to this stage where I would need to submit a review to get things moving. As a result of the actions from Manish I have updated my rating to 2 stars instead of 1.
Had I been dealing with Manish from Day 1 this would have been a 5 star experience. There are definitely areas where EmailFlights can and should improve in terms of providing a good customer experience.

They have charged me £200 as an ‘admin fee’ but also taken more money (they call this an chargeback fee’) as a result of me raising a dispute with my bank!!! I ONLY DID THIS BECAUSE emailflights TOOK 20 WEEKS TO REFUND ME! This company is a scam! How can they take £200 off somebody when the flight cancellation was no fault of my own! SHOULD BE ZERO STARS!! Please avoid this company at all costs scam artists stealing £75 from people after having flights cancelled for no fault of their own and not refunding any money due. Trying to contact them is like trying to count each grain of sand at a beach!!!! I’ll be visiting their office where they are based this week to speak to someone brave to speak to me in person with regards to my money. It’s not about the money now it’s the principle these people think they can do this to hundreds of us and get away with it. Let me assure you this isn’t happening!
Poor customer service
My Bali flights got cancelled back on 1st April due to COVID, and after several emails and EXPENSIVE phone calls, we finally came to an agreement on 3rd July to refund me £903 of my £1053 flights (£75 per person admin fee) Even though the flight never went ahead! I was just happy to have to not deal with them anymore and being as I was being over worked in the NHS, had lost a wedding, a honeymoon and this holiday. Was happy to just cut my loses as I went into deep depression
I was then told it would take 12-14 weeks to refund me. Well today is the end of week 14 and they chose to consistently ignore my emails. This company have only added to my depression and anxiety and I wish they would just meet their own target dates, I have been polite, patient and forgiving cause of the situation, but they’ve are now taking the mick. AOL protected really does not mean anything!
Happy to update this review if they ever get back to me. But unfortunately I would recommend not booking with this company untill COVID is long long gone.

TERRIBLE.... Appalling customer service. Avoid this lot at all costs. Getting a refund has been, and continues to be, the most stressful and frustrating thing ever. The communication has been awful and I would not recommend them to anyone
Love this Company - (NOT) !!!
Waited 5 months & charged £150 for a refund on 2 tickets that were 'double booked' due to their system telling me it rejected a card payment, when apparently it didn't! (Only got the refund after 4 months when I provided details from Singapore Airlines saying that they refunded the booking to Email Flights the same day the 'error' was made - refund made by check which was dated 3 months prior)!!!! Now waiting since April for refund on actual flights cancelled (COVID) for which I will be charged £225. So in total I will have laid out over £4000, received nothing, & will pay £375 for the privilege.
I understand that Co.'s are struggling over this, but it is unacceptable that payments are not made to customers once the airline has refunded them (which Singapore Airlines confirm they have).
There is NO communication, emails are not answered & be aware that calls are charged at premium rates!!!
