Not interested in Small Business
I initially had high hopes for Equal Connects and would have rated them higher, but their approach to smaller businesses is disappointing. They seem to only value clients who process at least £20k–£50k in monthly transactions. My business consistently transacts under £20k per month, and despite being upfront about this from the beginning, they repeatedly told me they were making a loss on my account and eventually moved me to a lower rate.
What’s frustrating is that they approached me and invited me to use their platform. I was transparent about my transaction volume from the start, so for them to later say it’s not viable feels unprofessional. I might add that the team members I deal with on booking transactions etc are good
