Always mixing profiles with someone else. Other person don’t have anything common with me, still they end up mixing profiles every year my credit score drops because of this. Then there is 2 month process to sort everything out, only to find everything went to shit next year again.

Incapable d'expliquer une baisse de ma cote en mai 2025 suite à une hausse en avril 2025 alors que mon crédit s'est amélioré et que des dettes ont été payées, je crois qu'il lisait une réponse toute faite
Me donne des détails qui ne tiennent pas la route , me parle d'une transaction du 12 mars, je regarde et je constate que c'est le 12 mars 2024 !!!
J'ai fini par terminer l'appel car c'était du gros n'importe quoi
Service vraiment nul

The call centre is extremely noisy, so much that you can barely hear the person you are talking to. Phone connection is also very poor. You constantly have to repeat yourself or ask them to repeat. Not the staff's fault just bad phone system and most likely a very crowded call centre.

I had to get an Equifax report for a bank that wasn't doing its job correctly. (TD). In order to get this report I had to sign up for $26/month. After I received the report I cancelled my subscription because I only needed it for this one thing. The cancellation process was at least 30 questions where they kept trying to get you to keep signing on. At the end of which I was told that it was indeed cancelled only to be billed the following month. It's impossibly hard to cancel your subscription with Equifax. Try to find a different way to get your information. I had to block them on my credit card.

you cant cancel online, operator said they haven't got around to automating the system. outsource their customer service to foreign call centers. the epitome of what's wrong with current Canadian coronation.

Absolutely horrible automated system

I hate it I ever have to get anything from equitable they are a nightmare to work with and just horrible customer service in all areas!!

DO NOT GET THIS SERVICE!!!!!! GET CLEARSCORE INSTEAD!!!! Scammers I have been trying to cancel my account for months. When I finally did they still charged me for the next month and said because I cancelled it on my bill day. Unbelievable

This credit agency do such a bad work for years now.
I still can't understand why so many companies deal with it.

They didn't recognize the security breach in 2017 while my personal data were stolen.

My credit score did change month after month, sometimes drastically even my consumption habits didn't change.

On the opposit, the Transunion credit score is very stable...

When asking Equifax why there is such a volatility on my credit score, the only response is "How, this is not a real score, it doesn't reflects the reality of your risk, it is computer generated and of course it is what it is. "
"You are not impacted with your credit score because the companies are more likely to watch your credit report, to see if you are A1".

This is completely false of course. I did check the criteria for insurance company ratings. There are malus points depending on the credit score.

So again Equifax just continues to lie to customers and just can't adapt their algorithm to reflect adequately the real risk level.

Scam business, absolute trash customer service and they wont give you money back after they made a mistake twice to cancel my service.

Tres dessu, service en bas de zero, incroyable, plis que ca c'est du du jamais vu.

My accounts are never updated regularly and they blame the creditors

Horrible customer service , just spoke to two agents who made it seem like I was bothering them for asking about my dispute filed.

Terrible customer service; in fact I hesitate to call it service. All I wanted to do was register a fraud alert on my elderly father's accounts and despite having the documentation to do so the request was denied with a laundry list of things to provide. Could you make it any harder to protect seniors from criminals? It's no wonder there are so many scams, criminals can move way faster than this lot. Call centres in a country other than the one you are in benefit no-one but the 'shareholders'. Shameful and not protecting my financial security.

Have been using this service for about a year now. I want to switch to another service provider and it wont let me cancel my service. Here it says the is a cancel button under My account but there is not!
(Cant use link here but first google search asking Equifax cancel account)
When you call in there is a call robot saying that their very busy and then after asking what you want just hangs up. I bet you they don't even have anyone working there. Also the robot mentioned something about data breach and settlement which is not alarming at all

Do not join this company when looking up info. They will charge you. When you talk to them you are talking to another country. Also they will keep contacting you by phone.

Si je pouvais mettre un 0 je mettrai un 0, des agents incompétents a' l'exception d'une dame qui savait de quoi elle parlait. Tous des hommes incompétents, qui m'ont menti en disant qu'ils vont rappeler en cas ou, la communication est interrompu, chose qui ne se fait pas d'apres la dame, qui ne savait pas que DOB....@... était une adresse courriel Equifax d'un compote equifax bloqué, pour débloquer le miens et le remettre a' mon adresse et le pire c'est que tous m'ont effrayé avec ton numéro de NAS n'est pas le bon associé a' ton dossier, des vrais incompétents qui ne savent pas leurs travail, qui m'ont perdu une journée de travail et ont faillit me tuer arrêt cardiaque, avec des informations erronés. Des vrais incompétents, heureusement il y avait la dame.

They are an underhanded company - if you sign up for one credit report they are signing you up for monthly billing without your knowledge. It is impossible to cancel your account once you've unknowingly signed up. They are fraudulent - BEWARE!
