Very efficient once in communication with the office. For a one off event and applying for insurance for an expensive piece of equipment like a generator, the automated website quote really needs to say contact the office, rather than leaving you hanging unsure of what to do next. Can be a bit on the expensive side on this occasion.

whilst the staff and company have been great in the past with our events and also this year they will no longer insure motorised floats from this year. As an event insurance company why have they done this? We struggle to understand this decision. We have never claimed ourselves and ensure a high level of H&S for the floats. This completely removes a very important community carnival parade from our week and may jeopardise the whole thing. Hence the 2 stars going forward . A bad decision made in our view.

Short notice cover, courteous and polite service.

The quotation was confirmed by return and was acceptable after having sent in a completed and signed proposal form. We then had to confirm about Health & Safety/risk assessments, which we obtained from the client and re-submitted confirming acceptance and to proceed with the policy. However, the underwriter then sent back yet another quote and i had to ask for a second time for the policy to be issued!
